(Elayne's POV)

This time I had no weird dreams whatsoever, waking up around eleven in the morning as fresh as a cabbage!

Quite a lot happened yesterday, despite me wanting to relax. Urban Spirits appeared out of nowhere, we made some totems, which we have yet to make more as we ended getting too lazy to work after lunch, and then I spent most of the evening and the night with my friends and mark.

I mostly skipped alcoholic drinks myself but Rita and everyone else got wasted. Mark also drank a bit, though he is quite resistant to alcohol. After everything, we had a slightly passionate night with Mark, the two of us were quite horny after everything, so we did a lot of love in bed. When he drinks he gets a bit more intense and… Ahh, well, it was really nice.

Anyway! I quickly decided to wake up already, walking out of my bedroom to notice Mark at my side, sleeping completely naked with only a few blankets covering his body…

Thankfully Gabriel wasn't here, or I would've been rather embarrassed, he had his own room now, so he probably was sleeping there, hopefully.

"Honey, wake up~"

This time I decided to wake him up with me, he groaned a little bit, but slowly opened his eyes, kissing my cheek.

"Hey."

"Morning…"

As he yawned, I quickly went to the bathroom and put on the warm water.

"Let's take a bath together!"

"A bath? Ahh… What hour is it?"

"Around eleven in the morning?"

"Hm, I see…"

"Come on~ Let's go take a bath together!"

I insisted, dragging him out of the bedroom, and when he saw my naked body, his eyes widened, and he woke up immediately.

"Okay let's take a bath together."

"Heheh…"

I giggled a bit as we entered the bath and took a rather long shower together.

For once I just wanted to relax and do a few… well, lewd things here and there.

Once we were done, we quickly walked out of the bathroom and dressed up in some summer clothes, going to make breakfast as usual.

On the way to the kitchen, however, we were greeted by not only Gabriel, but a friend he had made recently, an Urban Spirit with a rather strange appearance. Both were sitting over the couch while playing video games.

The boy was Julio the Stabbed, a boy-like Urban Spirit that looks like he has been stabbed, resembling a boy around Gabriel's age of appearance, purple hair, cute red eyes, and wearing bloodstained black uniform.

"Hi…" He said with a wave of his hand. "I'm sorry… Gabriel invited me inside, so I came… He showed me the TV, and we played video games… I'm sorry…"

"I-It's fine, haha, I don't mind, you're a Spirit after all," I said. "But don't do it again without my permission, okay?"

"Okay…" Julio the Stabbed nodded. "I'm sorry…"

"Don't say sorry so much, it's fine," I sighed. "Anyway, it seems you've become Gabriel's friend? I thought you were the Druid's friend?"

"Not completely… I mean, I got along with them but… Gabriel is nicer, and more around my age," Julio the Stabbed said. "Right?"

"Yeah!" Gabriel hugged him. "He also doesn't sleep much so we can spend a lot of time playing! Katherine and Kaguya don't like playing, and the fire bear cubs are sleeping, so I got bored…"

"I see…" I nodded. "So that's why! Well, you can feel at home here if you want, dear. We'll prepare breakfast. Monica and my daughter should be on their way here in a few minutes I suppose. Let's make something tasty today."

We cooked the usual breakfast with a lot more of fruits we've harvested from the garden this time, adding more nutritional and spiritual value to the meals. In fact, there was a lot of fruit I mixed into as many meals as I could.

"Oooh…" The Urban Spirit boy glanced at the scene in surprise. "So much food… Can I eat some?"

"Sure!" I nodded. "We prepared for you as well, right?"

"Yeah," Mark nodded with a relaxed smile, as we sat down to enjoy a meal while watching TV, the news were quite interesting today.

"And in other news, several new Gates have opened across South America recently. As stated earlier, South America was among the few places in the world where Gates had not opened yet or where they were in much smaller quantities. However, that changed recently with ten reported Gates across various countries."

"Populated areas had been told to evacuate, but the majority of the population refused, not wanting to leave behind their homes. It is to note that most of these people don't really have any funds or money to get a new home, let alone find it, so the situation has been rather hard in these countries."

"However, the President of the United States recently made an announcement, saying he would dispatch Hunters and Specialized Agents to take down these Gates and help South America's perilous situation."

As I looked at the news, I felt slightly relieved.

"Well at least they're going to help out a bit," I sighed. "It's kind of weird though, there aren't any organizations like SWORD in South America?"

"Perhaps not as developed or as big…" Mark said. "I hope some Hunters can raise in there to help out…"

"Hm," I continued looking at the TV but there was an ad, so I just changed channels to something else. "My parents came from Chile, did you know? So I got a bit worried… But it seems the Gate on Chile appeared near the ocean, in the port city of Valparaiso. Seems far away from people at least, as long as they don't approach on boat."

I had researched on my phone almost right away, feeling relieved.

"Oh, I had no idea…" Mark was surprised. "So you're technically Chilean as well?"

"Not really… I mean my parents are, but I was born in Canada," I said. "I've never visited that country though… I guess I worried more in regards of my parents. Well, whatever, today we should finish the totems we were carving yesterday! And maybe I'll build some sort of smithy or forge too, I want to use my Blacksmith Abilities here!"
