"Hey! You’re pretty good as well! Maybe you need a little something?" I wondered, sitting by his side. "Let me help you finish it! I’ll guide your hand… Also let me enchant your tool so it’s better."

"What did I say about needing to rest?" He sighed.

"Hey we’re resting! We’re sitting and only moving our hands," I said with a smile. "Let’s do it now…!"

I helped Mark finish his own totem, adding a few more stacks to it. At the end, I made the white wood one and he made the black steel wood.

Makes sense why he was taking a while though, that’s wood as hard as steel he was trying to make into a totem after all!

"It’s done… Well that took much less time with your help…" Mark said. "Hmm, with this we can get it done then. These two seem plenty strong."

"What do you want to get done?" I wondered.

"It’ll be a special type of Ward for the Domain," Mark said. "I’ve been thinking about it for a while now. It will be able to summon very strong Totem Spirits to help once the Domain is attacked."

"Ooh! But don’t we already get a lot of defenses thugh?" I wondered. "You didn’t really need to do this much effort dear…"

"Hah, well… You never have enough defenses, Elayne, don’t be too overconfident." He smiled. "The more defenses you got, the more your enemies will have to get through them to even enter the domain. After what happened the other day… I don’t really want such a tragedy to repeat again."

Cute, tiny spirits such as Smalls Suns, Tiny Embers, and Baby Fires, which were the various types of Fire attribute spirits out there, and also sunlight spirits.

The aura of spirits spread everywhere, connecting both totems, which he had imbued with runes beforehand and…

I saw in awe as several threads made of this energy interconnected beautifully, leaving me in slight awe at the scene.

A part of the "sky" of my Domain became red for a moment, as I saw the silhouettes of many beasts emerge and roar, before going back to normal.
