Bloodmancer in the Jurassic Era: I use my Dinos to seduce Human mates-Chapter 232: Nine-foot Tall Compy
Jimmy pressed the second button on the line, backed away a little bit, and waited.
The shrinking process took seven whole minutes, and he expected whatever the second button did to take an equal, if not greater amount of time.
He could feel it in his gut that the second button was supposed to buff the Compy clone up in size, and it was logical to expect it. He wasn’t wrong either.
Although the growth process started only after three minutes into the ordeal, the clone did start growing. The second button did what he expected it to do.
The clone slowly started growing, and it started panicking again. It even tried to run away, and this broke Jimmy’s heart, because he thought that the clone was in pain, but thankfully that was not the case.
He checked on the pain receptors within its brain again, and once more confirmed that the clone wasn’t in any pain. It was just freaking out, as it could feel its rapid growth, in real time!
Under natural circumstances, dinosaurs were supposed to take months to grow this much. Compies weren’t exactly known for their size, but even the clone knew that something weird was going on.
The syringe bouncing around close to its spine managed to spook it as well.
Jimmy followed after the fleeing clone, and caught up to it eventually. In due time, he managed to help it calm down, and at this point, to prevent the clone from hurting itself, he decided to use a tenth of his limited amount of mana to plant a thought in its head.
He communicated with it, basically, and his reassuring words were somewhere in the lines of, "Quit running around, you’ll be okay. I won’t let you get hurt, not while you’re in the bunker, Compy. I’m just trying to figure out what the weird thing that’s poked in your back can do."
Jimmy had to implement words and images in the clone’s brain, and he didn’t know how well the planted thought translated in its brain, but he got his point across nonetheless. The clone finally calmed down, and started taking the experimental phase like a champ!
Ten minutes into the ordeal, the clone got back to its former size, standing at five feet tall.
He could sense that the clone grew more confident once it got all its muscles back. The clone stopped behaving like a spooked deer, and as he read its mind to make sure the clone was alright, he could sense that the clone was so confident that it even debated biting the syringe off, just to show its dominance!
The clone couldn’t reach the syringe even if it wanted to, but he was happy that it regained its confidence.
Jimmy then went ahead and pressed the second button on the line, for a second time, because he wanted to see how big this Compy could get with the aid of the syringe!
"I’m gonna have to shrink you again later, or else you’d be stuck in this bunker for good, but... stay put, let’s see what we get." He spoke to it, as if the clone understood anything he said. "I hope to God you don’t blow up. This damn technology is too unpredictable, and it would take forever to clean the bunker."
Despite his expressed worries, Jimmy was having fun for once. He was excited over the advantage that the syringe provided him over the enemy, and assuming the growth process worked as well as he wanted it to, then the massive platoon that was on their way towards the bunker, was less of a challenge than it initially was before he stepped into the bunker.
His plan, as of now, was clear and simple, as he plotted, "Assuming I can boost a clone’s size three times without them exploding, we’ll have fifty damn giants fighting for us tonight!"
Jimmy observed the clone, and as it kept growing in size, crossing the seven-foot height mark only five minutes in, he grew even more excited!
"At this rate, you’ll end up being bigger than Gutty if I boost you two more times!" He exclaimed, happy.
He raised his voice, but the clone wasn’t spooked. The rapid growth-spurt was making it feel more confident, and since its brain technically did increase in size as well, along with the rest of its body, the clone’s intelligence increased by a nudge, every minute, to the point where it could understand half of what was going on!
Jimmy picked up on that fact, when he noticed a literal smirk on the Compy’s face! Expressions like these were rare amongst dinosaurs, and he only remembered seeing them on Gutaxun, and perhaps Rampage. Amongst dinosaurs, it was a trait of the intelligent!
"Nice..." He stroked his chin, "Hopefully you don’t become too smart. It wouldn’t be right to send conscious clones to their doom."
Jimmy kept watching the clone, and at the twelve minute mark, the growth process met an end.
The Compy clone was now a staggering nine feet tall, and weighed a hell lot more than it used to weigh! More than triple, at least, and likewise it became a true force of nature to be reckoned with!
This clone alone could slaughter several men before it could be taken down, and hit the ground, and he was aware of this.
However, he was also getting greedy for an advantage, so he got on his toes, and pressed the second button on the control panel once more. He wanted to see just how big the clone could get before he hit the limit!
"Please don’t explode..." He muttered, "You’re far from hitting the ceiling, but technically, you aren’t supposed to explode, because this is the second time I boosted your original size."
The clone, although tampered with in the cloning room, was five feet tall initially. The five foot mark was considered its new, original height, and so, he was hoping that logic transferred over from the cloning room, to the syringe.
Assuming that the aliens who used to inhabit this place put a 3x growth limit on every bit of their associated technology, he was under the impression that after this current size-boosting process was over, he’d get one more shot to boost the clone’s size.
"Come on..." He held his breath in anticipation, "I need you to be bigger than Gutty... only then will the math make sense. We might just have a chance to protect our home... and those old bastards who won’t take a step out of their damn caves too."
Jimmy got frustrated as he thought about the elders, and appropriately added, "The elders are only useful once in a decade. Fuck them."
