"How?" She stopped walking, and looked at him. "There are thousands of birds down here."

Laylania was not kidding. After two minutes of walking on dry land, he already saw a few birds flying around in the distance, some small ones were even in the trees close by.

With that said, it was apparent to him that this underground world was ahead in terms of evolution.
