Chapter 360: 360: Breakfast

Eden had offered to prepare breakfast for everyone that morning.

He had decided to prepare some modern dishes for them to enjoy. Something he’d make in his own world. He simply felt like doing so that morning.

Adrian watched him admiringly from the kitchen while he prepared the meal.

"Don’t you have anything else to do this morning instead of watching me?" Eden asked, looking up at him.

"No. This is more important," Adrian replied with a smile as he stood there, watching.

Eden wore his apron around his waist while he mixed the flour. He rolled his eyes with a smile. "Sure, whatever."

"What are you making?" Adrian leaned forward. "It looks good already."

"I haven’t even made anything yet," he smiled. "It’s a surprise. I’m sure everyone will like it."

Adrian smiled. "Then I’m excited to taste it."

"Then you’ll have to wait somewhere else," Eden said.

"No. I’ll stay right here," Adrian smiled, staring at his face. He stretched out his hand and wiped the flour from Eden’s cheek. "You’re all messy."

"That’s how it’s supposed to be, though," Eden explained, still mixing.

Adrian walked closer, pulling him by the waist and drawing him near. "Is that so?" He pressed his lips against Eden’s nose, licking away the flour.

Eden was shocked. "What are you doing?" He looked up at him with a smile.

"Cleaning you up," Adrian said, leaning down to kiss his cheek, licking the flour mark as he kissed down his neck.

Eden smiled while pushing him back. "We’re in the kitchen—what if someone sees?"

Adrian smiled at him. "Then they can see."

The maids around them, who were helping with the cooking, couldn’t help but steal glances. Some giggled while pretending they were still working.

Adrian bent in for another kiss as Eden placed a hand over his mouth. "You should be tamed by now. I’m busy, so you should go and set the table."

Adrian licked Eden’s finger as Eden pulled it away.

"What are you doing?"

Adrian smiled. "Okay. I won’t clean you up again. I’ll just watch you cook. Will that do?"

"Whatever," Eden said, breaking free from his grip and continuing to cook. "Then I guess you’ll have to be my assistant."

"Sure, I’ll be whatever you want me to be," Adrian replied. "So what do I do?"

Eden smiled. "Just watch."

Eden continued cooking as Adrian kept staring at him, smiling.

In the middle of cooking, Adrian walked up to him from behind and wrapped his arms around his waist.

Some maids smiled at the scene while struggling to look away and pretend they were working.

"What are you doing now?" Eden questioned.

Adrian rested his chin on Eden’s shoulder. "I’m bored as an assistant. You’re not giving me any work. That’s unfair."

Eden laughed. "What, are you a kid or something?"

"Then I’ll hold onto you while you work. Will that do?" Adrian asked.

"No, it won’t. You’ll distract me," Eden said.

"Okay..." Adrian pulled away. He suddenly turned Eden toward him and pressed his lips against his. A brief, spicy kiss ensued between them. Their lips locked, their tongues intertwined—everything about it was so hot that the maids couldn’t help but squeak.

After the brief kiss, Adrian smiled at him. "Then I’ll leave my husband to handle the cooking. I’ll handle the other stuff." He patted Eden on the head and then left.

Eden stood there blinking as a smile escaped his lips. He could feel his heart race and his cheeks grow red.

"What’s wrong with me...?" He pressed his hand against his cheeks. "That brat..." He smiled as he shook his head. "I have to focus."

The meal was ready, and Eden had served the modern-style pancakes he had made for everyone.

The maids helped serve them on the long rectangular table clothed in white. It was arranged beautifully enough to match a royal meal.

As Eden and the maids arrived with the meal, he caught sight of Elvis and Lysander already seated at the dining table, waiting.

Adrian and Leo were also there. Lenny was still in his cat form, sitting on the table while licking his paws.

Helen was just walking into the dining hall with Princess Cordelia, whom she had gone to bring in for breakfast.

Lysander smiled broadly as he got to his feet. He went to help Eden with the meals while they were being served.

"Thanks. You’re an angel," Eden said, standing on his toes to pat Lysander on the head while Lysander bent down to let him.

After the meal was served for breakfast, Eden sat down between Elvis and Lysander. He turned, smiling at Elvis. "So, how are you doing? Are you feeling fine?" He placed a hand over Elvis’s forehead to feel his temperature.

Elvis smiled warmly at him. "Thanks to you, I’m doing just fine."

"That’s good then," Eden said, feeling relieved.

"I’m also sick," Lysander chimed in. "So feel my forehead to know how I’m feeling."

Eden smiled as he stared at him. "Is that so?" He placed a hand over Lysander’s forehead. "So, how are you doing?"

Lysander smiled broadly. "I’m feeling fine now, all thanks to you."

Adrian also stared at them. "Hey, I’m also not feeling so well. So don’t you think you should ask me how I’m doing, too?" He raised an eyebrow.

They all stared at him. But Adrian had his eyes fixed on Eden, a smile lingering at the corner of his lips.

Eden smiled back at him. "So, how are you doing today?"

Adrian smiled while nodding. "I’m doing just fine. All thanks to seeing your pretty face this morning."

Helen and Lenny rolled their eyes at the words.

"Not again this morning," Lenny sighed.

Eden looked at Leo. "And you? Would you also like me to feel your forehead?"

Leo smiled. "No need to. I’m feeling all right."

"Can we begin eating already? You can do all the love talk later. I’m starving," Lenny protested as they all laughed.
