[BL] Seducing Male Leads To Survive As A Villain In A Novel-Chapter 301: A Dream II
Gideon had begun acting strange.
Even though they were still sharing romantic moments and all, Eden couldn’t help but notice that he was acting strange.
Even though he was smiling and all, Eden couldn’t help but feel that something was wrong. He asked him from time to time, but Gideon always brushed it off.
He’d say he was just tired and there was nothing wrong. Eden wanted to believe that, but he couldn’t. There was something wrong, and Eden wanted to find out.
And after some time, Eden found out what had happened.
He had discovered that Gideon’s rich parents were against their relationship. They were against the fact that their son was gay. They were against the fact that their son wouldn’t marry a lady and wouldn’t give them grandchildren.
As their only child, they were heavily against it.
Eden didn’t know how to feel about it. He met up with Gideon and they discussed it. They thought about what to do from now.
"I don’t want us to come to an end," Gideon had said in tears, and Eden felt his heart shatter.
After a long time of thinking, they decided to meet Gideon’s parents, at least. And they did.
They both sat down before his parents and expressed themselves.
"I know you’re against us... and you’ve been pressuring us to break up. But I’m sorry, I don’t think I can let go of Eden. I can’t let go of him. So please understand..." Gideon explained.
His father had lost it. He ended up scolding at the top of his voice, expressing how against it he was. "I won’t let this happen in my household! I won’t let you be this! I won’t ever let it!"
He continued, "How am I supposed to face people if you marry a man? How am I supposed to face my ancestors? I can’t do such! You won’t be with him! The two of you will break up, and that’s final! Understood?!"
He insisted nevertheless. And no matter what Gideon and Eden said, Gideon’s parents were against it. They were against them and would never let them be.
And so the meeting ended with a cold exchange of words between Gideon and his father. That was the first time Eden had seen Gideon so angry. He never got angry.
And after that, Gideon left home and didn’t return anytime soon. He and Eden packed into his apartment and lived there.
That night, they held each other in bed, feeling down while they made a promise to each other.
"I won’t give up on you," Gideon said. "No matter what, I will never give up on you."
"Me too. Let’s stay strong. Maybe at the end we’ll get past this. Maybe at the end they’ll understand how much we love each other and will let us be..." Eden said hopefully.
But a part of him didn’t wish to be naive. And part of him knew the reality of things. And he was scared of that part that told him that none of these ended with fairy tale endings.
The two of them continued their relationship nevertheless, working part-time together to fend for themselves since Gideon wasn’t relying on his parents anymore.
Things were hard for them, but at least they were happy with each other. They had each other every day, so it was okay.
Eden was an avid reader. He would always spend his time on his phone reading through web novels and all.
"You’re always reading those; are they that good?" Gideon had asked him one day while preparing dinner.
"Yes. They are. An escape from reality. So it’s nice," Eden smiled. "You should try it too."
"Okay then. You’ll have to recommend one for me," he said. "But not those ones with villainous main characters you always read. I will never understand why you enjoy reading those with evil main characters."
Eden smiled. "They’re not evil. They’re morally grey. And I think it’s more realistic. So I enjoy their point of view better."
Gideon nodded. "Okay then. If you say so. I’ll continue sticking with the good people."
Eden laughed.
Their relationship continued strong, with their love fueling it. But it was also having some difficulties, especially with finances and all.
And then it got worse when Gideon slowly started getting sick. Eden had noticed, but Gideon had brushed it off that it was just a cold back then, and he’d get better with time.
Eden believed it, at least. He didn’t have any choice but to do so either way. And so they kept pushing their relationship and themselves.
They soon graduated from university and were now looking for a more sustainable job. A more sustainable life for both of them.
And things were now shaping up for both of them. Things were getting better, and it was as though there was hope for the two of them to survive together and live a happy and better life together.
At least they were happy with their development and happy relationship.
But Gideon’s parents didn’t seem happy at all. They thought it was just a phase and that with time their son would return.
But he never did. He never even called them to talk, let alone come to meet them. And now they grew scared that their son would abandon them.
They couldn’t bear that. They couldn’t bear that Eden would come and take their son away from them like that. That he’d come and ruin everything they had planned out for their son.
And they hated Eden.
"I’ll make sure that the bastard pays," Gideon’s father said. "I’ll make sure he regrets all he did. Taking my son away and making him into a mess. I’ll make him pay."
They had agreed amongst themselves and then decided to act against Eden. They were going to make life miserable for him in all possible ways and make sure he regrets it and hands over their son to them.
And that was what they executed.
