Chapter 265: Vice Headmaster (1)

Revan began explaining everything that had happened during the Class S Duel, what Mona did, and the incident involving the mermaid students.

Agus’s expression grew grim. This clearly wasn’t something an ordinary student could orchestrate.

"Yes," he said slowly, "this matter is far too complex to be the work of a student alone. There’s someone else pulling the strings."

Gara quietly exhaled in relief, grateful that the vice headmaster was taking their report seriously.

Once Revan finished providing the rest of the details, the vampire boy excused himself, leaving only Gara, Madha, and Fian in the room.

"So," Agus began, his tone calm but direct, "who among you possesses a space-type Talent?"

"I do, Sir," Gara raised his hand.

Agus’s eyes narrowed slightly. "According to the first-year records, there’s only one student with a space bloodline."

It was surprising to know that this elusive vice headmaster actually knew details about first-year students.

"Then you’ve been hiding your Talent? You’re a dual-talent, aren’t you?"

Gara nodded, trying to read the man’s reaction but Agus’s face was unreadable.

Centuries of existence had given him more than just longevity. It had taught him control, wisdom, and the art of restraint.

"What made you hide it? The elf boy here also has two Talents, doesn’t he?"

Despite his high status, Agus’s tone wasn’t authoritative or intimidating. That gentleness made it easier for Gara to answer honestly.

"I’m actually half-druid, half-human," Gara said without hesitation.

Madha and Fian turned to him in shock. They hadn’t expected Gara to reveal something so hidden to a man they’d only met twice.

But Gara had already discussed this with Tristan beforehand.

Gara had always been cautious, but after meeting Chief Ambar and Professor Aura, he began to understand the power of connections—

not just in acquiring physical resources, but also in gaining access to knowledge and information reserved for the world’s elite.

Goddess Freya herself had told him that certain knowledge was deliberately kept by select groups and never shared with others, especially not with commoners.

Information about space-type abilities was one of those secrets.

With the sheer number of children he would one day have —potentially reaching the triple digits— Gara knew he would encounter many rare bloodlines, talents, and traits that weren’t publicly known.

Agus Soren could be his first key to securing exclusive knowledge.

Tristan had assured him that Agus was trustworthy— a man without ambition, rarely seen in public, and not affiliated with any faction beyond his race as a vampire.

"You don’t carry the scent of a druid," Agus observed after a moment. "There are druids in this academy, so in theory, your identity shouldn’t be hidden... unless—"

His sharp eyes scanned Gara from head to toe, searching for a clue.

"My Talent isn’t just Unlimited Water, Sir," Gara explained. "It’s Scentless Unlimited Water."

He went on to describe the details of his Talent and why no one could detect his druid scent.

Agus’s lips curved ever so slightly. "Your potential is truly remarkable, Gara."

For someone known to be cold and distant —even toward his own children and grandchildren— the rare praise from the vampire elder carried real weight.

"Because you’re a half-druid, half-human, you don’t want to draw too much attention with your space-type Talent and end up with people digging into your background, right?" Agus concluded.

Gara nodded.

He was already well-known enough for being an alchemy genius and the creator of Alrova products.

But a human talented in alchemy and herbalism wasn’t unheard of. Besides, Ambar and Aura —especially Ambar— used their influence to protect his identity.

As long as those two were around, anyone trying to trace Gara’s origins through alchemy or herbs would hit a wall.

On the human side, Tristan was also keeping his information under wraps.

But if his space-type Talent were to be revealed, people’s interest in him wouldn’t stop with just those three circles. 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

There would be other powers involved, ones far beyond their control.

Agus understood that without Gara needing to explain. He also knew how druids despised half-bloods like him even hunted them in secret, despite the ban.

It was a matter of life and death.

Still, countless questions stirred in Agus’s mind about this boy. "So, who convinced you to come to me, to ask questions and even tell me your secret?"

"My godfather, Tristan Cakra, second son of Marquess Cakra from Swargaloka Province."

Agus raised a brow. He might be old, but his memory was as sharp as ever.

That name sparked something in him. "Marquess Cakra... follower of Duke Eshaan..."

His expression shifted to shock, then quickly settled back to normal. "A half-druid... connected to the Cakra Family... Don’t tell me you’re—"

He stopped mid-sentence and glanced at the two young men sitting beside Gara. The question on his tongue was far more sensitive than the fact Gara was a half-druid.

And Gara understood. He gave a small nod. "I’m their son. Both of my friends already know everything. And they still chose to follow me, despite the danger."

Agus nodded slowly. "No wonder you have such an extraordinary Talent."

After that, the vice principal didn’t press further about Gara’s identity, even though countless questions lingered in his mind.

Like whether Gara knew about the current state of the Eshaan House, whether that was why he hadn’t visited, where he had been living all these years, how he managed to hide from the druids and more.

Instead, Agus brought the conversation back to the original topic: Gara’s space-type Talent.

"So, what kind of space-type Talent do you have exactly?"

Gara explained everything in detail, except for one thing. The fact that he could only access it through the leather satchel he was wearing.

’If someone unwanted ever learns about my Talent, at least they won’t target the satchel right away. They’ll think it works like any other Talents,’ he thought.

After listening carefully, Agus rubbed his chin and said, "Your Talent could fall under both categories, storage and teleportation."

"But if your dimensional space truly exists within the mist, then your Talent isn’t something simple at all."

Gara knew that. That was exactly why he sought out an expert in the first place.
