The meeting was taking place in a room, though that was a simplistic way to put it

This was no ordinary room, it was a chamber of secrets, a place where words were spoken and then lost in the ethos, never to be heard ever again by anyone except the lips that had spoken them.

Inside this room, there were crystal chandeliers, glowing gold and cum, casting

shadows that spread silently across the opulent chamber.

What was this room?

The common name was The Hidden Sanctum.

It wasn't in California. It was buried deep beneath one of Las Vegas's most exclusive private clubs, accessible only through a labyrinth of velvet-draped corridors and retinal scans.

Only men like Richard Morrison could know about places like this. Not merely because he was wealthy, but because he held dark secrets of his own, he had his shady deals.

Adam Scotland was merely lucky to be allowed into such an esteemed room.

The air hung heavy with the scent of aged whiskey, exotic incense, and the faint musk of perfume from the women who moved like ghosts through the room.

They weren't American women, that was for sure.

Even though their faces were hidden with intricate Venetian masks adorned with feathers and jewels, from the display of their bodies, Adam could tell that these ladies were exotic.

Their bodies were covered— barely —with sheer silks that hinted at curves without fully revealing them.

One dancer swayed hypnotically on a raised platform, her hips undulating to the low thrum of a hidden string quartet, while another knelt beside a plush leather armchair, her fingers expertly squeezing the breasts of her fellow dancer.

They kissed, they touched, their act a performance for the two men.

The walls, lined with dark mahogany panels etched with what could be ancient symbols of different colors, absorbed sound, ensuring that no whisper escaped this den of secrets.

Here, the elite conspired without fear of prying eyes or ears— except, perhaps, those of the women, who were sworn to silence under contracts that could ruin lives.

Richard Morrison lounged in a high-backed throne of burgundy velvet, his dark hair impeccably combed back, his sharp features forming a stern expression; one filled with thought and slight worry.

As usual, he exuded the aura of a man who had built an empire in pharmaceuticals and healthcare, his billions amassed through ruthless acquisitions and innovations that bordered on the unethical.

His dark eyes, framed by wire-rimmed glasses, betrayed no emotion as he sipped a rare Scotch, the ice clinking softly like bones in a grave.

This was a long time coming.

He had held back as long as he could, he had waited for Archibald to do something. Yet nothing happened.

Darren Steele continued to expand, continued to grow in wealth and power. Even worse, his best friend turned enemy, Leonard Holloway, is now the leading doctor in the state of California.

Richard only surpassed him in overall wealth, but in the medical aspect, Leonard had finally taken over.

And if that wasn't enough to throw him over the edge, Darren Steele successfully escaped government interest.

When the news had gotten to him that Financial Fair play had gained a serious interest in Darren, Richard had been certain that they would find something to bring him down, or at least hurt his business in one way or the other.

But that wasn't what happened.

Instead, the government broke apart, a scandal was uncovered and Darren ended up with millions upon millions after it caused a spike on that stupid Bitcoin thing he cared about.

Something that both he… and this man, Adam Scotland, had in common.

Across from him, in a matching chair, sat Adam Scotland, a man a few years younger, a millionaire and a driven character with an overcompetitive spirit.

The same spirit that was leading him into a battle with Darren Steele, who Richard had noticed, didn't at all care about him.

His ruddy face, having some handsomeness but mostly whimsical, flushed with anticipation, his thick fingers drumming on the armrest as a masked woman massaged his temples, her nails tracing lazy circles that did little to calm his eager fidgeting.

From what Richard knew, Adam's wealth stemmed from early investments, just like Darren, and only early last year did he grow an interest in cryptocurrency.

But his envy of Darren Steele's uncanny foresight had festered into obsession. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝒆𝔀𝒆𝙗𝓷𝒐𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝒄𝓸𝓶

And Richard was all too happy to use that obsession to get what he wanted. To make Adam do his bidding.

Going after Darren Steele was now riskier than it should be. Richard could still clearly remember Archibald warning him about Darren, telling him that the boy billionaire was off-limits.

They had chosen this venue to evade Archibald Mooney's network— because back in Los Alverez. No matter where you are, wherever you work, it was all owned by Archibald Mooney.

Richard set his glass down with a deliberate click, his voice a low, icy drawl that cut through the ambient music.

"Well, Adam? You've kept me waiting long enough. I hope it is good news this time. I have a meeting with Archibald this Wednesday. I need to know that the plan is set in motion by then."

Adam leaned forward, his eyes gleaming with barely contained excitement, a stark contrast to Richard's stoic mask.

He waved off the masseuse with an impatient flick of his hand, though she lingered nearby, her masked face impassive.

"Whatever you define as progress, Richard,

I'm sure I've surpassed it."

Richard raised a brow. Curious.

"We've got him cornered. The groundwork is laid, and it's airtight. After I collected all the information, everything is now prepared and ready for execution."

Richard nodded his head. "Well, I like the sound of that. Start with his Bitcoin empire. That's the foundation of his wealth, right? Show me what you've prepared for it."

"The flooding," Adam answered.

Richard raised a brow. "Mhm?"

"We flood the market with FUD: fear, uncertainty, doubt. I've prepared the bots and shill accounts ready on every major crypto forum, CryptoTracker, X-Tex-X, Cryptosyte and even crypto websites."

"So you're certain that the rumor strategy will work then?" Richard asked him.

"Of course," Adam replied. "We'll spread rumors of a massive hack on his wallets. I've successfully sent all the forged 'leaked' documents that will be sent in mass showing vulnerabilities in his security protocols."
