Keng clung onto Calis for his life. In many cases he would've suspended gravity to keep himself afloat, but his natural instincts grabbed at the nearest thing. Calis pulled against the swirling currents to keep Lily's capsule from disappearing. He grunted as more shadows wrapped around the capsule, pulling it towards him.

The chaos of the waters subsided, keeping Keng dizzy for awhile as Calis pulled the capsule near them. The Merman dragged Keng with him as he checked on Lily.

'She's still okay.' He sighed in relief. Tight arms wrapped around his waist while half of Keng's face was buried in Calis's back.

"You can let go now." Calis told Keng. "It's over." Keng opened his eyes and looked up.

"Oh." Keng pulled away, moving past Calis. He walked over to the other side of Lily's capsule and peered in. "Good thing you didn't get swept away." Keng moved his hand toward the bubble, looking up at Calis.

"I should heal her injuries." Keng told him. Calis's human legs had disappeared and was replaced with his tail. Calis nodded, waving his hand. The water bubble disappeared as the water rushed in. Lily's entire body glowed a bright sea green as she continued to breathe, unconscious.

Keng lowered his hand down and enveloped her in silver light. Keng and Calis watched as Lily's injuries slowly faded away.

"Better." Keng sighed, removing his hand from her. He watched Lily's chest slowly rise and fall as the sea green energy soaked into her body. "What do we do now?" He looked up at Calis. Calis waved his hand over Lily, creating the shield of water above as he looked at Keng.

"We need to find our allies and get out." Calis told him. "She's unconscious and you're still not fully healed. If we run into anything dangerous, I'm not sure if you'll be able to protect yourself and her." Keng nodded. Calis gave the safest option.

'I'm not fully healed. I just staved off most of the pain.' Keng's eyes glanced towards Lily. 'And Lily isn't waking up anytime soon.'

"If we see Cayi, we'll have him heal both of you." Calis continued.

"Keng! Are you okay?!?" Aliza's loud voice shouted through the conch. Keng's head turned, realizing the conch was near him. He snatched it and pulled it closer.

"We're fine." Keng answered. There was a loud sigh of relief.

"Thank the gods!"

"Where are you guys?" Keng asked, flicking the map on. He realized they had ascended and gone a far ways from where he last remembered them being. Four blinking lights appeared on his map. "Oh! You're kinda close. Well, one of these pairs are."

"Leader Rya is nearby?!?" Aliza asked.

"Yeah, I think so…" Keng flicked the conch again, watching it light up as a buzzing noise grew. It buzzed for awhile until it clicked.

"Finally, we connected." Vizo sighed. "Hello, hello? Who's this?"

"Keng." Keng replied.

"Aliza and Cayi!" Aliza shouted.

"They're both on the conch?" Rya's distant voice asked.

"Mmm." Vizo answered. "Are you three fine? Did you find any of Leader Calis's team?"

"We're with Trenni." Cayi answered. "We're pretty close to Keng, too!"

"Hmm, we seem to be close to him, too. Let's meet there. How about you, Savior Keng? Are you alone? Last I heard, you were with the young Savior."

"I'm still with her. We kinda ran into a problem…" Keng scratched his neck.

"What happened?" Rya asked.

"Leader Cayi warned us about these creatures in the ravines. Turns out we found them in magical darkness and… Almost died."

"Are you okay?"

"I'm fine. Lily's unconscious. Well… We both went unconscious, but Leader Cayi found us. He's right here." Keng turned towards the Merman and moved the conch between them. Calis leaned in, looking at Keng before turning his gaze elsewhere.

"Rya, Vizo. Are you alright? The caves seemed to shift before our very eyes. I'm worried we'll get lost if this continues." Calis voiced his concern. "Plus, Lily's unconscious and I'm worried we might get jumped."

"Mmm." Rya answered. "We'll come to you. Aliza, you guys head over to Keng and Leader Calis. We'll meet them there and find a way out, alright?"

"Yes, ma'am!" Aliza and Cayi answered.

"We'll be waiting." Calis spoke.

"See you all soon." Vizo answered. The conch hung up, losing its light. Keng hooked it back onto his belt, turning his attention to Lisa. His stomach wasn't feeling well at all. He mindlessly clutched it, wondering if they would get out.

"We'll get out." Calis spoke like he knew what Keng was thinking. Keng looked up at him.

"Was it too apparent on my face?" Keng asked. Calis nodded. Keng scratched his cheek, turning away. He focused his attention on something else. He had to.

His eyes looked at the exits around them. There were plenty of exits and entrances coming through this area. Keng could've sworn they were back at the beginning. His hand played with the beaded bracelet. Keng had his back turned to both Lily and Calis, noticing something strange out of the corner of his sight.

'What was that?' Keng wondered. A small light moved in and out of the walls. It seemed to catch on that Keng was looking and dipped into a wall. It pulled him forward.

"Where you going?" Calis's quiet voice asked. Keng continued forward, not answering.

'What is that? Is that the… Wisp?' Keng's head tilted as he moved into the hallway. Calis's calls landed on deaf ears as Keng entered the hall. The Void Rune lit up on his hand as a flicker of light appeared thirty feet in front of him. Keng stared at the light for awhile, watching it bounce around in front of him.

Jing! Jing!

The wisp flew towards Keng, spinning around in small circles before flying deeper into the tunnel.

"Wait!" Keng shouted, reaching a hand out towards it. Keng rushed down the hall, shouting after it. "W-wait!"

"Savior!" Calis swam forward. "Where are you going?" He watched as the Fox Spirit ran after an odd light. "What is that…? Is that the Firefly?" His head turned towards Lily and back to Keng. His fingers tapped the conch, pulling up the map. "I'll wait for them. Hopefully he can get it." 𝑓𝙧𝘦𝘦we𝘣𝙣𝘰𝘃𝗲l.com

"Wait!" Keng shouted, shifting into a smaller version of himself. Gravity pushed him forward as the wisp flew into a wall. Keng came to an abrupt stop, looking at the wall with panic and curiosity. "Is it… Real?" He stuck his hand out, watching as the wall rippled in front of him. "It isn't!"

He burst forward, popping into a strange room as the wisp danced around the room. Keng's head followed it as the Void Rune grew brighter. Keng lifted his hand, summoning the Void Storage. The scabbard shot out, floating and twirling as the wisp came to a stop. The item and strange energy began to stand off, slowly giving a wide circle.

"Are they… Getting ready to do something?" Keng whispered. The scabbard rushed straight for the wisp as it bolted away. "H-hey!" Keng rushed after the scabbard and wisp. They moved through fake walls, turning sharp corners and almost forcing Keng into many real walls with hard thuds.

'Come on!' Keng groaned in his head. The scabbard and the wisp ran in circles as Keng came to a tiring stop. The two circled each other in a very familiar room, never catching.

"Oh my god." Keng gasped. "Why is it so hard to keep up with an inanimate object and a firefly?"

Jing jing!

BZ! BZ!

"Please tell me they're not talking to each other…" Keng huffed. The object and the wisp continued to make noises at each other, swatting small bouts of energy at each other as the scabbard tried to catch the wisp. Keng threw his head back as he straightened out his back. "This is exhausting."

Briing! Brring!

The wisp flew at Keng, bumping at him as the scabbard turned to face them.

"What're you doing?" Keng asked the wisp. The scabbard slowly moved forward.

Jing! Jing!

BZZ! Bzz!

"Hey! I don't want to be—"

The scabbard flew forwards as the wisp hid behind Keng. The scabbard slammed into Keng, as the wisp pushed into him. Keng grunted, flying backwards onto the ground.

"Argh!" Keng groaned as an odd energy washed over him. The scabbard rattled on the floor, unmoving as Keng shook his head. He slowly lifted himself up as Hydrosphere pulsed. "What now?" He looked at Hydrosphere and pulled it out. The large jewel revealed a dancing wisp. It bounced against the jewel.

The scabbard shook, flying straight for Keng as he threw his arms up to block. The scabbard slid across Hydrosphere, locking it. The beautiful scabbard faded into the dagger, wrapping its colorful design around the dagger as the wisp shook.

"What the hell happened?" Keng whispered. He looked at the dagger and noticed both something and nothing was wrong.

Yes, I am. Don't worry! I already contacted Dad." Lily reassured him.

"I'd look like a bad friend, though…" Keng tapped his chin.

"Awh, shut up!" Lily slapped Keng. "I'll be fine. Go and find Lee Seng first and find the cup! Let me know when y
