Billionaire's Unforgettable Ex-Wife-Chapter 31 Richard Townsend Has an Accident
Chapter 31: Chapter 31 Richard Townsend Has an Accident
"How can the Townsend Family have such a scoundrel like you?"
Faye Townsend sat down on the chair in frustration.
Richard Townsend looked dismissive: "Anyway, you’ve got Oliver Turner to rely on now.
Let him handle it, it’s not a big deal."
"Beating someone up that badly isn’t a big deal?
What, does it only count if you beat them to death?
I really want to kill you myself to rid the world of your menace.
At this point, you still don’t know how to repent.
I’m telling you, I won’t help you this time.
You can stay inside by yourself."
"No, no, Faye, I was wrong, I really was wrong.
Help me out, our parents are gone.
It’s just the two of us left in this world.
I drank too much last night, and I really regretted it afterward, but my stubborn mouth is just like our father’s, you know it, please help me, I won’t do it again."
Their parents were Faye’s soft spot.
She sighed, watching Richard put on a tearful show, feeling utterly fed up inside.
"Faye, say something, you’re really not going to help me?
The conditions here are really filthy and messy, I can’t stand it another day.
If you don’t want to ask Oliver, there’s a quicker way.
I remember Hunter Warren has connections at the police station, why not reach out to him to get me out?
Anyway, he owes you since you didn’t take any of his assets after the divorce.
Think of it as him paying back his debt."
At the mention of Hunter Warren, Faye shot a cold look at Richard.
"If you don’t want to get out, just keep talking."
"Why are you so angry about this?
If you think my idea is bad.
Then come up with something yourself."
Faye irritably grabbed her bag and started walking out.
Richard grabbed her wrist: "Where are you going?"
"Calling for help." She shook off his hand and walked out of the police station.
After hesitating for a moment, she finally made the call.
The call was answered quickly.
Faye spoke awkwardly, "Henry, I’m sorry, did I disturb your rest?"
"No, no, Faye, I’ve been up for a while, just out for a morning run.
Why are you calling so early, want to join me for a jog?"
Faye gave a dry laugh: "You know I’m not into jogging.
I’m calling because I need to ask you a favor."
"Using a heavy word like favor, huh, tell me, what is it?"
"My brother got drunk last night and beat someone up, causing intracranial bleeding, the person is still in the hospital undergoing emergency treatment.
Richard’s being held at Literature Avenue Police Station, although it’s shameful to say, can you help..."
"Alright, Faye, no need to say more, wait for me there, I’ll be there soon.
I happen to have something I want to tell you."
"Okay."
Ending the call, Faye stood outside the police station waiting for Henry Sullivan.
She completely didn’t want to go back inside to face Richard.
Ten minutes later, Henry arrived at the police station by car.
Seeing Henry, she felt like she’d found a lifesaver.
"Henry."
"It’s just like your brother to put you in this position, he sure is a piece of work."
Henry said as he ruffled her hair: "I’ve already arranged for someone to pull some strings on my way here.
In a moment, your brother will be released.
Now you have to come with me to the hospital.
In situations like this, we need to at least check on the person."
"I was just thinking the same thing."
"Then let’s get in the car." Henry glanced at the police station: "As for your brother, I won’t bother seeing him, his sharp tongue is irritating."
