Victoria’s POV

After Jackson ate he prepared for his meeting.

"I have to go now, honey. I’ll just tell my secretary that you need a driver later so she can call the driver, " he said.

He left his office and went to his meeting while I was left alone in his office. I went back to the couch and sat down. It was so quiet...just looking around the corner of Jackson’s office. Moments later, I turned my attention back to the novel I was reading. I’m still reading the same as before and I’m just finishing it now. I spent a few minutes reading when I suddenly noticed that it was already lunch, so I picked up my phone and tried to text Jackson that I would eat lunch first. I know he can’t read the message because he’s busy so I didn’t wait for his reply. I arranged my belongings and decided to go out. I got off the elevator and caught up with other employees coming out of their office when someone suddenly spoke to me.
