Victoria’s POV

I’m inside Jackson’s office. I’m a bit pissed because someone suddenly called him during our intimate session. I sat on the couch while he returned to his seat and answered the call. Fortunately, I brought my favorite novel. I took it out of my bag and Jackson noticed it right away. I saw his eyes suddenly widen when he saw the novel I brought. But I just let him; I will not let myself get bored here inside his office. I was opening the page when suddenly I heard a knock on a door coming from outside of Jackson’s office. I stood up and opened it and saw his secretary holding a box of pizza and two bottles of tea.

"Mrs. Hynes here is your food, " she told me.

"Oh, all right, come in first. I’ll help you," I said as I took the two bottles of tea she was holding.

"Thank you, Mrs. Hynes," his secretary said.

"You’re welcome," I replied.

Elise put down the pizza as well as the tea I was holding. My husband saw his secretary enter so he signaled with his palm like stay for a moment. Her secretary nodded.

"Elise, sit here first while you wait for my husband," I said nicely to her.

"Thank you, Mrs. Hynes, " she replied and sat down next to me.

"Have you eaten your breakfast yet, do you want this pizza?" I ask her.

"I am fine, Mrs. Hynes, I already ate," she respond.

I refuse and opened the pizza and gave her a piece.

"I’m okay Mrs. Hynes. I’m full. It’s embarrassing to accept your offer, " her secretary said hesitantly.

"It’s okay; it is more embarrassing to refuse the food. We won’t eat all of these, it’s a lot," I said while smiling at her.

"Um...Okay, thank you, Mrs. Hynes."

I grabbed my pizza as well and we started eating. A few minutes passed before Jackson’s call ended.

"Who called you, honey?" I asked.

"One of our clients, the one that should have a meeting this afternoon. By the way, Ms. Garcia, the client wants to adjust the time of the afternoon’s meeting. There is something wrong with the papers you gave them. You haven’t checked the papers before you gave it to them? " Jackson asked seriously.

"I carefully checked the papers Mr. Hynes before I gave it to them."

"Well, our client said, there are errors. You know that was a contract Ms. Garcia, there should be no errors. What if that client rejects us because of those errors? We invest time and effort especially me just to approve this project. We can’t lose a client at this point. The entire company will be affected by the time he rejects this project.
