Bigshot's Sweetie Is a Cat!-Chapter 737: Dreaming of Him Again
"Hmm." Wen Xiao’ai yawned.
"Then let’s go to sleep." Jun Moyan took Wen Xiao’ai upstairs and returned to the room.
He took off his shoes and lay down on the bed, turning to embrace Wen Xiao’ai, coaxing her to sleep.
"Where did you go this morning? Did you go to the company? You’re still injured." Wen Xiao’ai asked.
"No, I went shopping." As Jun Moyan spoke, a hint of joy flickered in his eyes, clearly showing he was in a great mood, even a bit excited and thrilled.
However, Wen Xiao’ai was quite the opposite. Normally, she’s so curious about everything related to Jun Moyan, wanting to know even how many times he blinks in a day, yet she didn’t ask a single question.
She closed her eyes, ready to sleep.
Seeing she didn’t ask, Jun Moyan didn’t say more.
Wen Xiao’ai dreamed again, a different setting but still the same man, and her... not her, a girl who looked just like her.
Unlike last night’s dream, although it was not clear, they seemed very happy in the dream, playing and joking together, just like how she and Jun Moyan were happy together.
The man would carry her on his back, take her to see the most beautiful scenery in the world, give her the best things to eat, liked pinching her cheeks, and enjoyed patting her head.
She would comb the man’s hair, sing songs, and excitedly tug on his sleeve to tell him interesting things.
But she still couldn’t see the man’s face clearly, it was like it was pixelated, no matter how close the view got, she just couldn’t make it out. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
The man also liked to call that girl’s name, occasionally calling out to her, each time so tenderly and passionately, clearly heard in the dream, but she couldn’t recall it at all after waking up.
Wen Xiao’ai opened her eyes, the room was somewhat dim.
She turned her head to look in the direction of the balcony and found that it was already dark outside.
Beside her, there was no sign of Jun Moyan.
Wen Xiao’ai furrowed her brow, trying hard to recall those scenes from the dream, wanting clarity, yet it was all in vain.
Everything felt so familiar, familiar to the point that it seemed it wasn’t a dream at all but something she had actually experienced, yet it was so blurry that she had no impression whatsoever.
Aside from that familiarity, there was nothing.
Why was she having such strange dreams, dreaming of that man twice?
Did she know that man before?
Last night’s dream, which had rendered Wen Xiao’ai unable to control her tears, was significantly diluted by this afternoon’s dream. Her mood wasn’t great, but it wasn’t particularly bad, either.
Wen Xiao’ai lifted the blanket and got out of bed, turned on the light, only to see a large bunch of... flowers on the bedside table? No, it was something delicious.
Wen Xiao’ai blinked, looking at this large bunch of mouth-watering bouquet.
A specially exquisite and beautifully wrapped bouquet of... delicious treats.
This was a bouquet made of lollipops, syrup-coated strawberries, cherries, and some adorably shaped chocolates, decorated with baby’s breath inside and on the outer layer.
Wen Xiao’ai reached out, picked up the large bouquet from the bedside table, and looked at it: "So pretty."
Compared to flowers worth thousands, this edible bouquet definitely captured Wen Xiao’ai’s attention more since flowers can’t be eaten.
"Did Jun Moyan buy this for me?"
Wen Xiao’ai’s gloomy mood brightened considerably, and she promptly bit into a strawberry and began eating, then ran out of the room with the bouquet to find Jun Moyan.
"Jun Moyan?"
Wen Xiao’ai started calling Jun Moyan’s name on the stairs.
Only one light was on in the hall, making it somewhat dim.
