Chapter 52: Book Dropping.

Seeing the other sect members and even some of my own leave disappointed after I subtly misled them gave me a sense of relief. No need for force or revealing the presence of the pagoda’s treasure, which, if exposed, would have powerhouses from the Sky Above Realm descending on us. I had steered them away without risk.

As I watched the group depart, a few elder sect members approached with my sister beside me.

As the elders and disciples approached, a subtle shift settled over them, a kind of reverence triggered by my presence. Though unintentional, the sheer force of the legacy’s power I now bore left its imprint on everyone. Some of the female disciples felt a pull toward me—an allure almost magnetic—while the men exchanged glances of barely concealed envy. The aura I exuded demanded respect, even without intention, pressing them to almost bow as they came closer. I caught one elder adjusting his stance, a quick look of acknowledgment flashing in his eyes as he felt the vast energy surrounding me.

Elder Han, grinning widely, was first to speak.

"So, causing chaos again, Yue Phaelo?" He chuckled, his eyes twinkling with the same amusement that made his beard wiggle as he laughed.

Chu Fengxian and Long Zhen joined in, with Fengxian, who’d seen a little too much of my mischief, giving a disapproving shake of his head. "And here I thought you were on a noble mission, Phaelo. You’re as slippery as ever."

My sister Yue Linxi nudged me, laughing softly. "Brother, you’re only getting more creative. Do you ever plan to stop messing with everyone?"

Feigning innocence, I sighed. "Sister, I’m simply misunderstood." This earned a collective groan from everyone, making me grin all the wider.

Long Zhen, holding back a laugh, chimed in, "Under that innocent face, I swear, Yue Phaelo, you’re a troublemaker at heart. Remind me not to trust you next time you offer me ’advice.’"

The others chuckled, and Elder Han patted my shoulder with a wink. "It’s rare for the sect to have such... energy stirring things up. But don’t go making enemies too early. You’ll be chased down by every realm’s sect in no time."

I leaned closer to him and whispered, "Elder Han, are you suggesting I lack the charisma to get out of trouble?" He burst into laughter, almost losing his balance.

Yue Linxi folded her arms, feigning sternness. "One day, all these schemes of yours will come back to you, and when they do, I’ll be there to say, ’I told you so.’"

My eyes gleamed mischievously. "If that day comes, sister, you have my permission to lecture me. Until then, I’ll be here, dodging chaos and enjoying every moment."

With everyone laughing, I felt a rare warmth among the sect elders and my sister. Everything was safe—for now.

Elder Han, ever the spirited one, gave a dry chuckle, masking his awe. "Well, Phaelo, you’ve certainly improved since the last time I saw you and that’s only a few hours ago. Going to start ordering around the rest of us now, hmm?" he couldn’t see my strength but the shift in my aura, his senses couldn’t be fooled.

Elder Wei, trying to hold his composure, added, "If you’re not careful, Elder Han, he’ll soon be teaching us rather than the other way around."

Amusement danced in my thoughts, though I let my expression remain neutral. Elder Han, not missing a beat, shot back with a smirk, "Good, I could use a break. But he better be ready for the consequences of having that kind of power."

The men’s voices held forced bravado, but I could feel the underlying impact my presence had on them. It was as if my strength echoed around them, challenging their own resolve to match it. Meanwhile, some of the female disciples stole glances my way, intrigued, though they quickly hid it behind composed faces.

My sister Yue Linxi crossed her arms, barely suppressing a smile. She was no stranger to my antics, but even she felt the energy. "One day, Yue Phaelo, your strength will pull more people toward you than you know how to handle," she mused whispering for only me to hear.

In my mind, I laughed quietly. If that day comes, sister, you’ll be the first to say, "I warned you."

It didn’t take long for lead my sect members away from this place as they followed me immediately after i flew away with my sister, as if I was there leader to begin with.

She, Yue Yanyan, hugged my hand intimately as we flew back to the sect.

Our robes fluttered hit by the winds which despite it’s weight felt like a simple breeze on us given the strength we wield, if even the space could be tore by us with a simple thought and command of out spirutial qi, what could mere wind do to us?

I didn’t try to manipulate the space with my Dao as I had to make sure everyone had left the place, I didn’t want to leave loose ends.

"So what’s the occasion?" Yue Yanyan asked with a hint of dangerous curiosity dancing in her tone, she face didn’t let it out though, she looked like an indifferent immortal as she asked, alas, this immortal was obsessed with her brother.

"Mmmm? What do you mean beautiful sister?" Asked Emphasizing "beautiful" to avoid her seriousness.

"Don’t play innocent dear brother!" She cringed tighter on my hands, seeing this, I knew it. When she acts like this, it means she’s about to cause trouble or unearth something.

"Sister, how does this necklace looks like!" I suddenly pulled out the necklace made out of the Heavenly Diamond, her eyes sparkled immediately at it’s sight, she snatched it away from my hands and she she started observing it bearly believing her eyes.

"The... The heavenly diamond!!!" She exclaimed. Yes, I knew how to handle my sister better than anyone. Like any woman in Xianlun World, she too couldn’t avoid the allure of the Heavenly Diamond.

"Yes sister, it’s gift I prepared for you!" Her eyes turned misty, she couldn’t believe her brother cared deeply so much about her, seizing this opportunity I took the necklace back into my hands before helping her into it.

As it hung around her neck, her beauty and charm increased incredibly so and instantly.

As he stoped in the air, woth her shaking body, I hug her to seal the deal. She was taken aback by the gusture.

The others stared at us with disbelief but none us cared, Mei Lian and Ling Xueying my relentless pursuers, stared at me and my sister with envy.

Although the mask Lady Tianxu had crafted for me had hidden my appearance, my charm was still as dangerous, so I wasn’t surprised that the sparkle in their eyes had increased when they look at me.

Anyway back to task at hand, I pulled my sister out of my embrace before kissing her forehead, she shivered slightly.
