Beginning Of Multiverse Saga-Chapter 497: Ethan Appeared
Elena closed her eyes. Tears streamed down her face.
"I’m sorry," she whispered. "I never wanted this... I never wanted anyone to die."
The vibration screamed louder. Lyra’s hand began to descend. And in that moment.
A blinding red-white flame tore through the sky.
The air detonated.
The ground collapsed inward as a massive crater formed between Lyra and Elena.
Flames rolled outward like a living tide. A figure descended from the inferno and landed at the center of the impact.
ETHAN VALOR.
His feet touched the ground, and the shockwave died instantly. He stood between Lyra and Elena.
His eyes lifted slowly.
"No one dies today," Ethan said..
Lyra stared at him, surprised, confused... then furious.
"Who are you," she demanded, a vibration flaring instinctively around her body.
Ethan didn’t answer immediately.
Instead, he took one step forward. "If you want blood, you fight me."
The vibration surged. Before Lyra could react, Thunder cracked across the sky. Clouds twisted violently as lightning tore through them. A second presence descended.
A man holding a hammer emerged from the storm, lightning coiling around the weapon like a living serpent. His cape snapped violently in the wind as the storm obeyed his will.
Thomas landed beside Ethan.
He lifted his hammer slightly, electricity dancing along its surface.
"You picked the wrong day," Thomas said calmly.
Lyra’s eyes flicked between them.
Then she moved. Vibration exploded outward, focused directly at Ethan.
Ethan didn’t dodge. His body shifted instantly. Diamond Titan Form.
His skin crystallized into flawless, radiant diamond, light refracting sharply across every edge. The vibration slammed into him, and stopped..
The air around Ethan shattered, but his body didn’t move an inch.
Lyra’s eyes widened. "Impossible."
Ethan looked down at the vibrating air breaking harmlessly against his diamond form. "Diamonds are stable, and nothing can shake the stability of a Diamond."
Behind him, Thomas spun his hammer once.
Lightning roared. Before he could move, Aric appeared in front of Thomas, blocking his path.
"Today, nothing will stop us, not even you," Aric said coldly.
Thomas met his gaze, lightning crackling around his hammer. "You’ve already done enough damage. It’s time to stop you."
"Then try to stop me!" Aric shouted as he lunged forward, his fist glowing with photon-charged power.
Thomas raised Mjolnir.
BOOOOOM!
The collision sent a massive shockwave outward. Windows shattered. The ground split open beneath them.
Aric twisted mid-air and landed behind Thomas, driving another crushing punch toward him.
Thomas turned just in time, countering with a bolt of lightning that exploded point-blank.
Aric staggered, but didn’t fall. He charged again.
Before Aric could land another blow, Thomas swung Mjolnir straight into Aric’s face.
The impact sent Aric flying backward, crashing hard into the ground.
Before Aric could even rise, Thomas landed beside him and slammed Mjolnir down onto his chest and put on it. The ground caved in.
Aric struggled, muscles tensing, but due to Mjolnir pinning him down made it impossible to move.
---
At the same time, Selene’s eyes shifted toward Ethan.
Sensing danger, she reached out with her power, amplifying fear, doubt, hesitation, pouring it all toward him.
Ethan didn’t flinch. His eyes glowed pure white. The mental wave hit him, and reversed instantly.
Using his telepathy, Ethan redirected the attack back at its source.
Selene’s eyes widened. Her own emotional pulse slammed into her mind.
BOOM!
She was thrown backward, her body hitting the ground hard. Her eyes rolled back, and she lost consciousness.
Alastor, seeing his wife, became unconscious and his son pinned to the ground.
He roared in rage, "GRAVITY CRUSH!"
Gravity folded inward around Ethan. His body was forced down. His bones strained under the pressure, and he dropped to one knee.
Ethan reacted quickly.
Vines erupted from the earth around him. They wrapped tightly around his body, forming a natural armor and anchoring him to the ground. The vines stabilized him against the crushing gravity.
He pushed himself up and his form shifted into diamond.
Ethan struck the ground and jumped forward, closing the distance in an instant. His punch landed squarely on Alastor, sending him crashing into the wall behind him.
Before Alastor could regain control of gravity, Ethan focused his mind and unleashed a telepathic strike.
The attack hit Alastor’s mind like a hammer.
Alastor lost consciousness and collapsed to the ground. Seeing her entire family defeated, Lyra screamed in grief.
"WHYYYYY?!"
Her emotions exploded.
Vibrations burst out of control. The ground cracked open. Cars flipped and crashed. Pavement shattered. Nearby buildings trembled violently. 𝒇𝙧𝙚𝓮𝙬𝙚𝓫𝒏𝓸𝓿𝓮𝒍.𝓬𝙤𝓶
Her power spiraled without restraint.
Even Thomas slid backward, barely holding his ground against the shockwaves.
Ethan moved instantly, placing himself in front of Elena, shielding her with his body.
"What do I do...?" he whispered. He didn’t know how to stop this.
Then a thought struck him. His father. Sharky.
He remembered how his father could calm even the most violent outbursts. How he always acted on instinct, not force.
And Ethan shared his blood.
If his father could do it—why couldn’t he?
He glanced briefly toward Sasha, guilt flashing in his eyes, then made his decision.
He rushed forward. Each step slammed into the ground, his diamond form stabilizing the vibrations beneath him. The shockwaves weakened as he closed the distance.
He reached Lyra. And without hesitation, he wrapped his arms around her. Before she could react, he kissed her. It was sudden. Instinctive. Unplanned.
Lyra froze. The vibrations stopped instantly. The ground went still. The air calmed. Silence fell over the battlefield.
Her eyes widened in shock. She didn’t understand what had just happened. She tried to pull away, but her body wouldn’t move. And without realizing it, she responded.
Slowly, around them, everyone else regained awareness. They stood frozen, staring at the scene before them. No one spoke. No one moved.
Their minds couldn’t process what they were seeing. The battlefield, moments ago filled with destruction, was now completely silent.
After the kiss broke, Lyra pushed him lightly. Tears filled her eyes, her voice cracking with grief.
"Why... Why did you protect her?" she shouted.
"Because of the Guardians? Because of Elena Stark?" Her body trembled as her aura flared again, and she cried. "My brother Damon died! Our peaceful life was destroyed!"
Ethan didn’t step back. Instead, he gently placed his hand on her forehead.
"See the truth," he said calmly. His psychic ability activated. Their minds connected.
Lyra gasped as memories flooded into her consciousness. She saw Elena was under Loki’s control. Loki uses her like a puppet. The Zerg portal being opened by Loki. Elena screams, unable to resist. Damon’s death was caused by the Zerg, not the Guardians.
Seeing all of these she understood, it was H.A.V.O.K manipulating the Argos family. They have given them a false narrative, that Guardian and Elena Stark were behind her brother’s death.
Lyra collapsed to her knees, shaking.
"...We were wrong," she whispered, sobbing.
Aric clenched his fists in rage. Alastor’s body trembled as the truth sank in. Selene turned away, silently crying.
"H.A.V.O.K manipulated us," Alastor said heavily. "We attacked the wrong people."
They all looked at Ethan.
"We will destroy H.A.V.O.K with our own hands," Aric said.
Ethan nodded. "Then we stand together."
Lyra wiped her tears and looked at him again. Her expression was confused, shaken... and something else.
"You... kissed me," she said quietly.
Ethan smirked slightly. "You needed to stop."
Her face turned red instantly. She looked away, flustered, as the tension finally eased.
But before anyone recovered themselves back.
Suddenly, everything becomes silent. Even the wind was stopped. The air darkened. A ripple appeared there, tearing open the space like a black curtain being pulled aside.
From the void stepped a tall, slender figure dressed in a dark coat lined with metallic veins that pulsed like a heartbeat. His eyes glowed a deep, crimson violet.
He smiled, and his voice slithered across the ruined battlefield.
"Finally... The Argos family... The Guardians... The Forsaken... And the son of Sharky Valor..."
A wicked grin spread across his face. "...All in one place."
The moment he appeared, Ethan’s psychic senses screamed in warning. That person was a danger. Absolute danger.
Without hesitation, Ethan’s body shifted, diamond skin forming instantly.
Thomas raised Mjölnir. Lightning snarled around the hammer.
Lyra froze mid-breath. Aric, Selene, and Alastor all stepped back instinctively.
They felt something familiar, something terrifying. Fear... flowing through their own blood.
Ethan stepped forward, diamond skin shimmering under the ruined sunlight. "Who are you?"
The man tilted his head slightly, amused.
"I am Dr. Malachi Voss, the Architect of Ruin" he said, his voice smooth and steady. "And I am here to reshape this world into something perfect."
He slowly walked forward.
"I will evolve this fragile humanity into something tougher, stronger, and ready for the future. I will free mankind from its limits, from weak bodies, from minds bound by fear of change."
"I walked this path first, I became what humanity is meant to become."
He gestured toward himself, toward the power radiating from his body.
"My evolution is proof. Proof that humanity can rise higher than gods, stronger than monsters, unbreakable against extinction."
He looked at all of them, Guardians, Argos, Forsaken as one.
"In the world I create, everyone becomes strong. Everyone evolves. And together, humanity inherits the future."
A faint smile crossed his face. "I am here to save this world."
Hearing Malachi’s long speech, many of them were confused. They couldn’t understand what he truly wanted.
What was his real goal?
Then Selene spoke softly, her voice trembling.
"...That aura... it’s familiar..."
"Yes," Malachi replied instantly, without hesitation. "Your family’s power runs through my veins."
Ethan’s eyes widened.
"Oh, don’t look so surprised," Malachi said calmly. He raised one hand, and gravity buckled violently around him.
Alastor staggered and asked him, "How are you using our powers?"
"I am not using them," Malachi replied smoothly. "I have perfected them." As he spoke, power flowed through his body.
Photon energy surged through his muscles, making them glow. A deep vibrating hum spread outward, cracking the ground beneath his feet. Emotional pressure washed over everyone, stirring fear, tension, and unease.
"But all of that is nothing compared to this."
He moved his hands slowly. A powerful aura spread from him, dark and overwhelming.
Thomas froze recognising the aura, it was the same aura as Zerg species. His voice dropped to a whisper. "No... that’s impossible..."
"There is nothing impossible for me," Malachi said confidently.."I am Dr. Malachi Voss. Grandson of Blood Skeleton. Founder of H.A.V.O.K’s evolution program. The Architect of Ruin."
"I have created an evolution device. One that can evolve anyone."
Ethan stepped forward, "So you’ve found a way to evolve everyone. Then why are you here? Why tell us all this?"
Malachi smiled. And he pointed directly at Ethan. "My powers are impressive, but they are unstable when applied to everyone. Something is missing."
"I searched the entire world, and then I realized it."
"You," he said, locking eyes with Ethan. "The son of Sharky Valor."
A strange hunger flashed in his eyes. "Your DNA will complete my evolution."
