Callum was shocked to see Yvette suddenly jump into the pool. He immediately took off his jacket and jumped in to rescue her, who kept screaming that her feet were cramping from wearing heels. Yvette had been submerged for so long that she lost her breath and lost consciousness. Callum immediately grabbed her lithe body and swam quickly to the surface.

Callum didn’t actually want to save Yvette. He wanted to use this opportunity to exact revenge, but he had to save her to improve his reputation with Mark. What made him angry was that Yvette did it on purpose so they could kiss in front of Mark.

Callum immediately laid Yvette down on the edge of the pool and sat next to her, repeatedly pumping her chest. He tried everything he could to avoid having to give her CPR.

"Yvette, wake up!" Even though her sexy body was clearly visible due to the shirt Yvette was wearing being see-through because it was wet, he still wasn’t easily tempted.

It was a shame he didn’t have the skills to administer first aid to a drowning person other than CPR. Reluctantly, he moved his lips towards her red lips.

Suddenly, several medical personnel rushed to surround them, causing Callum to breathe a sigh of relief. He glanced at Mark for a moment and gave him a thumbs up. He was deeply grateful to Mark for taking the initiative to help save him from a major disaster.

Seeing Yvette resort to such cheap methods all of a sudden made Callum even more unwilling to forgive her. Callum was extremely reluctant to let her lips be stained by that evil woman, having promised to use them to kiss the woman he loved so much.

Yvette was now taken to the hospital. Callum and Mark visited her briefly in the VIP room to check on her, who was actually fine. Yvette slowly opened her eyes and looked at Callum, who had changed his clothes due to being soaked.

"Where am I?" Yvette asked, massaging her aching head.

"You’re in the hospital now," Callum replied flatly.

Yvette immediately sat up straight and looked at Mark, who was also visiting her. "Mark, why are you here?"

"Actually, I was worried about you. You drowned in the pool and passed out. I immediately called an ambulance to bring you here."

Once again, her plan failed. She gripped the blanket tightly to vent her anger. She had always wanted to taste those sweet lips, but they were so elusive. She had tried everything she could to get Callum to kiss her. Would she have to resort to such extreme measures to keep Callum from escaping her?

"Thank you for saving me, Callum. Thank you for taking me to the hospital, Mark."

Callum glared at the cunning woman who nearly stained his lips. "How did you slip up?"

"Actually, I was walking by the pool earlier. When I was about to crouch down, I accidentally slipped."

"Who told you to walk there? Mark and I were just walking away from the pool."

"Callum, I–"

"Enough, you two don’t fight anymore!" Mark snapped, his hands on his hips.

"I’m sorry, this must have made you uncomfortable," Callum said, bowing politely.

"It’s okay. It wasn’t Yvette’s fault she slipped." Mark looked at her seriously. "Callum acted like this because he was worried about you. Don’t act rashly again."

Yvette lowered her head. "I’m sorry I made you worry."

Callum didn’t want to stay in the hospital for long, prioritizing his family. He now visited the boutique to play with his twins. Although it wasn’t a big deal, he wanted to tell Edith about the incident so it wouldn’t haunt her. If Mark hadn’t taken the initiative to help him, he was certain he wouldn’t have the courage to set foot in this boutique now.

"Callum, what’s wrong with you?" Edith asked as she put down the plate of watermelon.

Callum let out a weak breath as he hugged his fiancée. "I’m scared, Edith." 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝕨𝕖𝗯𝚗𝚘𝕧𝕖𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝕞

"Were you almost killed again? Now Yvette is openly trying to kill you?"

"No. But Yvette did something even crazier than Arabella did. She deliberately drowned herself in the hotel pool."

"What?!"

"I know she did it on purpose so I could save her and perform CPR on her."

"Then, did you really do it?" Edith was actually starting to get scared because Yvette was a very dangerous type of woman. She was worried that Callum would get hurt if she didn’t perform CPR.

"Luckily, Mark took the initiative to help me. Yvette was immediately rushed to the hospital."

Edith breathed a sigh of relief, rubbing her chest. "Thank goodness, at first I thought you really did it."

"I almost did. Luckily the paramedics arrived just in time. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have the courage to look at you now."

Her arms tightly embraced her fiancé’s muscular body. "You’ve been chased by a crazy woman all this time. This must be really hard for you."

"I thought you would be mad because I almost did something stupid."

"I won’t. I’m actually afraid this incident will traumatize you."

"I’m actually a little traumatized. To get over that trauma, I came straight to you." Callum kissed her soft cheek for a few seconds. "I’m sure Yvette won’t just sit there because today’s plans failed."

"My guess is he’s going to do something crazy to you again. Are you ready to embarrass him?"

"Of course. You have to help me later too."

Seeing his fiancée’s lips, wet from the watermelon juice running down her chin, made Callum even more tempted to savor those red lips. While Yvette had been incredibly sexy earlier, Edith was sexier in every way. Moreover, the kids were playing in the other room. He was sure they wouldn’t see him kissing his fiancée.

This time, Callum wouldn’t hesitate to kiss the woman he loved most. To erase the bitter moment, he kissed her red lips, licking them wetly. Of course, Edith didn’t resist Callum’s sudden, passionate kiss, using her tongue to explore his sweet mouth. She was venting her jealousy, imagining Yvette stealing her fiancé.
