Becoming A Tech Tycoon Begins With Regression-Chapter 150: OmniMed’s First Partners
Gabriel was impressed, to say the least.
Both at the tech presented before them and the fact that they had managed to impress his stubborn father.
When he previously mentioned that he had a board that was hard to please, he mostly meant his father.
And to his surprise, OmniTech Corp had managed to please him. Aria’s friend really was amazing.
The confidence which she had in their products showed it all.
Lizzy, meanwhile, stepped back, folding her hands with a smile on her face. "That’s just the surface layer. The band’s internal sensors continuously analyze cell-level biofeedback. It can detect early biomarkers of disease weeks, months, or even years before symptoms appear."
Gabriel spoke up next. "And all that happens instantly?"
"Within seconds," Lizzy confirmed. "Faster, if connected to the Athena network."
Dr. Caldwell looked down at the glowing band on his wrist again, tapping the screen and actually getting a feel for the watch. "And this data can’t be stolen or tampered with?"
Mark answered that one, leaning slightly forward. "Not without breaking Sentinel-grade encryption, which, to date, no one on this planet has managed to do."
That earned a few raised brows around the table. Those words were a sign of extreme confidence in their software.
Which, given the fact that what he said was completely true, was totally understandable.v to bbbb
Oh look
Finally, Dr. Caldwell looked up, his gaze landing on Lillian. "It’s impressive. I won’t deny that. But tell me, Ms. Hayes... why us? Why start here, of all places?"
"Because Caldwell Hospital represents the bridge between traditional care and the future of medicine, you’re trusted by people. And OmniTech’s goal isn’t to replace doctors, it’s to make their job easier," Lillian explained, "and we believe, that the Caldwell Hospital is the ideal place to kickstart this innovation."
After her words, the room fell into silence as Dr. Richard Caldwell thought about the offer.
Then, finally, after a few more minutes, he exhaled and nodded. "You have my attention, Ms. Hayes. Proceed."
Lillian’s lips curved upward. "Thank you, Mr. Caldwell. Then let’s talk terms."

A couple of minutes later, Lillian and her team walked out of the conference room with a visibly satisfied look on their faces.
The deal had successfully been wrapped up.
After revealing the prototype and its capabilities, the negotiation went smoothly from there.
There had only been minor adjustments to the initial terms, Lillian had outline, which she was fine with.
And now it was official. OmniTech Corp had secured its first med-tech partnership.
Which in turn meant Lizzy and Liam had received the green light for mass production... Though on a smaller scale..for now, the siblings didn’t mind.
"You really did manage to convince the old man," Gabriel who was walking with the said with a small smile on his face, "I’m impressed."
Lillian chuckled and turned to him, "I’m pretty sure your father had only been asking questions because he wanted to make sure we’re not just another tech company here to make empty promises.
"That’s one way to put it," Gabriel said, "but the truth is, the old man’s usually averse to change, especially one that would make him think that human doctors will be replaced with machines, so I’m surprised he even accepted this meeting."
Although the hospital was now technically Gabriel’s, his father still held the largest share, meaning most decisions, especially ones involving large-scale partnerships, had to pass through him first.
It wasn’t that Richard Caldwell didn’t trust his son....he simply didn’t trust anyone with decisions that came to Caldwell Hospital...which was strange because he had already passed it on to Gabriel.
"Is that so," Lillian said, "then it’s an honor that he not only agreed to the meeting but also signed the documents."
"Don’t think too much about it," Gabriel said as he stopped just before they entered the elevator.
"I’d like to host a small celebration in honor of this partnership, in a few days," he continued, pausing just as the elevator doors slid open, "and I was hoping you—and your team—would attend."
"A celebration?" Lillian repeated.
She was hoping to leave and go back to Atlanta just after this... maybe tomorrow since there was still much to do before the announcement, testing and release of the Vitaband, plus she was also getting this nagging feeling that something was about to go wrong..
But she just dismissed it, after all, the two biggest obstacles in her life had disappeared so, it probably was just her overworked mind playing tricks on her.
But still, Gabriel’s request was a bit surprising.
He nodded, smiling faintly. "Yes. Nothing extravagant. Just dinner and a few glasses of wine," he added, "consider it the as us welcoming OmniTech Corp into the Caldwell family."
He paused for a short while, before adding, "and an excuse to introduce Aria to my father."
This caused Lillian to chuckle as she said. "Alright, just let me know when and where."
"Perfect," Gabriel said, his smile widening just slightly. "I’ll have Aria text you the details, when I’m done planning it out."
"Alright then," Lillian said as she entered the elevator after her team,"until then, Mr Caldwell." 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢
With that, the elevator closed as she tapped the button for the ground floor, leaving Gabriel on the floor that had the conference room.
"That went... incredibly well," Liam said as the elevator door opened at the ground floor and let them out, "I expected a few more trying to reject the proposal, but this went better than I expected."
That earned a light chuckle from Lillian. "Don’t get too smug just ye. We still have real world testing, refinement, and launch ahead of us. This was step one."
"Yeah, a smoothly sailed step one," Liam answered, "I can’t wait for people to actually start wearing the Vitaband."
The siblings had always dreamt of their biotechs inventions being used all around the world to help people...and as Lillian said, this was step one to achieving that dream.
They soon got in the cars waiting on them and Lillian immediately relaxed on the seat, letting the little bit of tension she had been feeling melt away.
Liam and Lizzy, sitting close also did the same, with Liam closing his eyes for a nap.
Lillian’s phone let out a buzz and she raised it to eye level noticing that a message just came in.
It was from Ethan.
[Ethan: well done.]
It read.
Of course he already knew about the outcome of the meeting even before she called to inform him, after all, he was Ethan Carter.
[My Little Midas: Thank you.]
She sent her reply.
[Ethan: You handled it better than I could have. Caldwell’s partnership is a bigger win than you realize.]
Lillian smiled faintly at the message, although she knew that was far from the truth, she couldn’t help but feel happy at the response.
[My Little Midas: it went smoother than I expected.]
[Ethan: because you’ve become a great negotiator, I’m proud of you.]
A bigger smile appeared on her face, one that the siblings...well, Lizzy since Liam was fast asleep.
"Ethan?" She asked in a lazy tone, truth be told, she was also mentally drained from this meeting since unlike Lillian, she wasn’t so confident in the deal going through which caused nervousness during the meeting, and although she his it very well, it was still there.
Lillian immediately put the phone down, trying to look nonchalant, "business."
"I see," Lizzy nodded resting her head back on the car’s seat, pretending not to see the smile of happiness on Lillian’s face.
Unlike her brother, she wasn’t nosy enough to insist on finding out the relationship between the two.
"Have you ever met OmniTech?"
Well, maybe she was a bit nosy but she couldn’t hold her curiosity back.
"Hmm," Lillian nodded, "quite a few times."
"How’s he like?" She asked again, this time just to make conversation.
"Well..." Lillian seemed to think about it as she looked out the car’s window, at the buildings passing by, "I’ll say he’s different."
"Different?" Lizzy asked in a tone of question.
"Exactly," Lillian said, she knew OmniTech was Ethan but the siblings didn’t and there was no need to reveal that fact yet, "I always get this feel like he’s far ahead of us all everytime I lay eyes on him."
"Far ahead?" Lizzy repeated again, tilting her head. "Like... genius-level smart that makes him detached from the world or something?"
"That’s one way to put it," Lillian nodded, honestly telling her thoughts on Ethan aka OmniTech, "another way to put it in like he looks at the world as a chess board and every single move that happens on that board is planned by him."
There was silence for a while between the two, before Lizzy broke it, "I see."
"Well," Lillian added, "that’s what I thought when I met him anyway, maybe it might be different for you two."
