Beastmen Love-Chapter 134: True Strength

Monsters don’t sleep. He had a nest because he likes to think he’s sleeping, and resting. Now that his body is changing, he’s feeling sleepy. Something he hadn’t felt for a long time.

When he less imagined he fell asleep sitting on the corner, and he woke up startled when Atlas woke up whining and Wayde went to take him to the sandbox.

Then he saw the most beautiful thing he ever saw in his life: Astri breastfeeding Atlas.

He already had a son and watched him grow, but the feeling was completely different. Now he has the feeling that he would enjoy watching her pregnant of him, and carrying his cub.

Once Atlas was done and went back to sleep, Astri looked at Kangki sitting in the corner and got confused.

"Are you all right?" She asks him.

"Yes."

"You look like you were sleeping."

"Yes... I was." He smiles, happy to know that she pays attention to him.

"Oh.. Then use the bed."

"Your spouses don’t want me near yet. I’ll use it only when it’s my turn to be near you."

The others are silent, glad that Kangki understood them without needing to say it out loud.

She looks at Wayde at the corner of the bed and asks: "Take a bed for Kangki, please?"

Wayde sighs internally, but does what she asked. He spreads the bed on the corner and gives a blanket for him.

Kangki lays down and relaxes on the comfortable bed, Astri smiles seeing that he’s going through new sensations so she lets him be.

The next day morning, Kangki awakes hearing movements and when he opens his eyes the others are standing up and leaving the room to start the day.

It’s been forever that he didn’t sleep and his head is a bit heavy after sleeping all night. Astri sits on his side and checks on him.

"Did you sleep well?" She asks.

"If it feels like I fell unconscious, yes."

She giggles and brushes his messy hair.

"It feels that way, yes. I asked Claud to get you some of his clothes."

"I don’t want it. Too bright for me."

"What? You picky. What else, your majesty?"

"Dark colors. That’s all."

She giggles, punching his arm and then standing up.

"Let’s go have breakfast, my King."

His heart skips a beat again, but now it doesn’t hurt as much and what remains is the good feeling of it. He holds her hand, then stands up too, and looks at her eyes.

"Say it again." He says.

"Let’s go have breakfast?"

"The way you called me."

"My King?"

He sighs feeling his heart beating, then hugs her enjoying the whole feeling.

"This is good.."

She rubs her hand on his back, smiling, and then kisses his lips. Her lips are sweet as ever, and he enjoyed it even more than the first time. He can already feel his senses getting enhanced for Astri.

"And this?" She asks him, with a guilty face, knowing that she might make things harder for him.

"Delicious.. I.. I want more. I never felt this before."

"You never kissed anyone?" She jokes.

"No. I didn’t." His answers impressed her. "I never had to. Procreation is different from... what I feel for you."

She passes her hand on his face, thrilled and proud of him.

"Aren’t you disgusted because I had others?" He asks, actually disgusted with himself.

"Past is history. As long as you will have only me now." She smiles, mischievously, and he smiles too.

"You’re amazing.. I don’t deserve you."

She kisses his lips again and then looks at his eyes again:

"Focus on today and what you can be in the future."

He smiles, passing his fingers on her face and hair. Then the door opens and Yuki comes inside.

"Bweakfest ready, mommy. Daddies asked to tell you." Yuki says.

"All right, sweetie." Astri smiles at her sweet pure little tigress.

"I knew Kank wanted to be a daddy! You lied!" Yuki pointed at Kangki.

Astri bursts out laughing, and Kangki chuckles.

"I did. You always saw through me, little one. But I didn’t lie when I told you I would protect you."

"But why you lied about loving mom?"

Kangki would normally get angry or annoyed with these questions, but coming from Yuki or Astri is the same as hurting him.

He sighs and calls her to come to him. She stops in front of Astri and Kangki, and he kneels in front of her.

"I was scared. Your fathers don’t like me. And your mother is too perfect and beautiful."

"Fawthers don’t like you? Why?"

"Because once I took your mom away. I had hurt your mom too. So they don’t like me."

"Apologize, then." Yuki simply says.

"Time will make them believe my apologies."

"Mommy don’t like Kanki?" Yuki asks Astri.

Astri kneels next to her too and answers:

"I do, sweetie. He will be your daddy too. I forgave him long ago, but it’s hard for your fathers. They’re jealous too. We have to be patient. But I’m happy you treat him well. I’m proud of you, sweetheart."

Yuki smiles, happy to know she did something good and that her mother is proud.

"I’ll help! Come! If daddies are mean, I’ll tell mommy!" Yuki says and pulls Kangki by his hand to come outside.

Astri giggles and follows them outside. The other spouses were jealous of Yuki coming outside holding Kangki’s hand.

"Yuki, come sit with me. I was out for two days. I miss you." Wayde speaks.

Yuki pulled Kangki to sit next to her like he was her new toy.

"Why are you pulling him around?" Koa asks Yuki.

"So you don’t be bad to Kanki." Yuki answers.

They smile at her pure heart, even if they’re still jealous. It was actually a funny scene: an ex-Monster King being fed by tigress toddler. Astri watches them with a sweet smile on her face.

’Mom?’ Kai calls Astri.

"Yes, dear?" She looks at Kai.

’Kangki is not a Monster anymore?’

"No, he’s not."

’He smells a little like father Tyr.’ Elias answers.

"Yes, he’s half lion." Astri nods, and that’s when the others realize they are talking about Kangki.

"He’s having quite the attention here." Lee mumbles with jealousy.

’You don’t like him, father?’ Kai asks Wayde.

"Son, I live with your other fathers with respect and partnership. But if I could, none of them would exist and it would be only me and your mom." Wayde answers, and Astri throws a napkin on his face giggling.

He smiles, happy that he made her smile. He wishes he could steal her and lock themselves in the bedroom for the rest of the day.

Kai and Elias ask more things about Kangki and Astri answers everything. She knows they’re more mature and they understand without a hard time that Kangki is not a Monster and is not a danger anymore.

"Kai and Elias are twaining to pwotect us. I want to pwotect too." Yuki softly says to Kangki.

"You protect, little one." Kangki says.

Yuki looks at him wanting to know how.

"You have a gift. Your heart is so good and pure that your smile can heal. You can sense the truth from others. You can remove evil from others. That is not something anyone can do." Kangki tells her, and she smiles brightly at him, making him smile slightly back.

"He’s right, dear. You have more power than you can imagine." Claud reaffirms Yuki.

She giggles shyly, and they go back to eat breakfast.

Shung and the others who know about Astri are impressed to know that Kangki gave up on being a Monster and allowed Astri to purify him and that now he’s becoming a beastmen again.

That is proof of her power. Her sole existence purifies everything around her.

One day, Astri decides to train outside their home and the guards watch her full of curiosity. Yuki runs to Astri and imitates the movements and then Astri ends up teaching Yuki some movements, and once Yuki is tired, Astri focuses more on her own training.

Claud, Kangki, and Dieg are watching the guards carefully, making sure they don’t try to court Astri.

"May I ask you something?" Galion asks Astri.

"Sure." She answers and stops her movements.

"You said that it is not only a matter of strength, but I never saw you using your powers for training. Why is that?"

She takes a good sip of water and answers:

"You think I’m training only my strength?"

"Well.. I’m not sure."

"Energy is around us and inside of us. I’m training the energy flow with my movements. Remember that the strongest force you can use is your will and the outside strength along with yours."

Galion starts to imitate Astri’s movements, to try to feel what she’s saying. After seeing their commander training with Astri, the other guards came to do the same.

"Astri is training the guards. I’m sure you will want to participate. Don’t be mad. None of this was planned. Astri was training by herself and they ended up asking the right questions." Claud tells his fellow spouses that are outside through his mind.

"Going back now." All of them answer.
