I had intended to fully establish Bai Feng’s complex character in the World of Inheritance. But... but... I was so heavily criticized for it.

Although I shortened the plot in the World of Inheritance and didn’t fully develop the character I had envisioned, I’m persistent! In this extra story, I will depict Bai Feng’s complexity!

After all, Bai Feng is a character I genuinely like in this book. I put a lot of thought into crafting him; he’s a very carefully developed and complex character.

To be frank, Bai Feng’s character was established from the very beginning. Although this extra story is just over ten thousand words and not very long, I started writing it very early on. It took half a year of writing intermittently. After finishing this extra, I felt drained for many days—not from a painful kind of angst, but from a vast, lingering sense of emptiness.

I guess this is the final trump card I’m playing as the story concludes.
