Lucius stood in the hidden room, arms folded behind his back.

His eyes focused on the display.

The image showed the massive fusion Vornis, Element Knight Vornis.

It was still standing in the center of the arena as the crowd cheered.

Beside him, Loreia stared at the screen, eyes wide.

She pointed lightly toward it and said, "I didn't think something like this was even possible."

Her voice held a mix of shock and amusement.

"Five Vornis… fused into one? That's not something you see every day."

Lucius didn't answer yet.

On the other side, Liora remained still as always.

Her eyes were locked onto the fusion Vornis, watching it slowly retreat from the stage.

She didn't speak, but her gaze softened just slightly.

Lucius noticed.

"You're impressed," he said.

Liora didn't nod, but her silence said enough.

Then Luna spoke from behind them.

She sat on the edge of the seat, one hand holding her teacup, the other resting under her chin.

"Well," she said, "whoever this man is… he's not just skilled. He's clever."

She looked at the screen again.

"He didn't just build beautiful Vornis."

"He designed each one with a purpose."

"He then brought them together like pieces of a puzzle."

Her smile grew slightly. "It's like watching a child's show but for tamers."

Loreia laughed. "Yeah. It reminded me of those old fusion toy ads."

Lucius remained quiet for a moment.

Then he nodded.

"It's… interesting," he said at last.

"To think that someone that was not from Luxoria or even a noble house..."

"Had the idea to make five element-themed Vornis."

He looked at the scoreboard.

"And then to build each one strong enough to stand on its own."

"While also being made for combination."

He finally turned to face the others.

"This man… is more than a tamer and very interesting."

Fiona hovered above the glowing stage, still smiling from the excitement of the last round.

"All right, Luxoria fans," she said, twirling midair.

"That last entry gave us five Vornis fused into one—and a score of 9.5!"

The crowd cheered.

Fiona raised her hand again.

"But now… let's see what our next contestant can do!"

The arena lights dimmed slightly, the crowd leaned forward, and the gate slowly opened.

Out of the shadows, a tall, elegant woman stepped through.

She wore a dark green battle suit with sharp leaf-like patterns across her shoulders and boots.

Her silver-blue hair was tied neatly, and her storm-gray eyes held calm confidence.

Fiona's eyes widened as she floated lower.

"Wait a minute… Could it be?"

She spun in the air.

"Luxoria fans!"

"Our next contestant is none other than a noble from nature."

"Velmara of the Myralis family!"

The crowd gasped, then clapped hard as Velmara gave a slight bow.

"I didn't expect a noble to join the contest," Fiona said, smiling.

"Let's see what kind of Vornis she's brought."

Velmara nodded gently.

"This one is not my personal beast," she said.

"But it belongs to my family."

She motioned with one hand.

From the back of the arena, two armored handlers wheeled forward a large sealed container glowing with faint green light.

Fiona turned to the crowd. "Ooh, a container reveal? Fancy!"

The container opened slowly, releasing a soft green mist.

Then a massive steel lion leapt out with a deep, earth-shaking thud.

Its body fused with glowing green Verdanite, vines twisting along its armor, and claws that gleamed like forged roots.

Its deep green eyes stared into the crowd—calm, steady, and alive.

Fiona's mouth dropped. "W-What is that?"

Velmara stepped forward.

"Let me introduce," she said.

"The Vornis Verdant—the forest guardian of the Myralis family."

"This beast was made not from steel alone."

"But from Verdanite, a secret metal only found in our family's territory."

"It is alive. It is aware. And it does not fight for glory."

She placed one hand gently over her chest.

"It fights to protect."

The Vornis Verdant gave a low growl.

The vines on its legs gently twitched, and its tail flicked, leaving behind a faint shimmer of green mist.

Fiona blinked, speechless for a moment.

"This… this doesn't even look like a normal beast…"

She floated around it slowly.

"The way the vines are wrapped into the armor… the green glow..."

"And the way it moves—like it's breathing…"

She spun back to the crowd.

"Everyone! This Vornis was not just made for battle. It was born for balance."

Fiona turned back to Velmara.

"You really surprised us. I thought you'd bring some kind of Thunder Vornis…"

Velmara smiled. "My Vornis is indeed a thunder one."

"But today, I want to show you the new guardian that fight for all of Myralis."

Fiona raised her hand again.

"All right, Luxoria fans! You've seen it. You've heard it."

"Now it's time—get your votes in!"

The crowd tapped, waved, and cheered.

The scoreboard lit up slowly…

[Average Score: 9.2]

Fiona clapped her hands with a cheerful grin.

"Nine point two! A stunning score!"

She turned toward Velmara, still hovering midair.

"Congratulations! Although…"

"Still a little lower than the last one," she teased with a smile.

Velmara didn't look bothered. She simply smiled back.

"This is just a beauty contest," she replied.

"I will show real power in the battle round later."

Fiona laughed. "I see! So this was just a warm-up."

Velmara gave a calm nod, stepping back as Vornis Verdant followed her quietly.

Fiona spun around in the air and pointed toward the glowing archway.

"Well then, Luxoria fans!"

She raised her voice and waved both hands toward the crowd.

"We've had seven amazing entries so far…"

Her eyes twinkled.

"Now—it's time for the final contestant!"
