The Ren family shared the fruits with everybody in the village. This naturally strengthened the villagers.

The old and the sick grew as strong as tigers, production also increased since they no longer got tired.

The war continued waging on and one day the battle took two nascent soul experts of the two sects towards the village.

If they continued, the shockwaves of their battle would destroy the entire village but when they got within 10 kilometres they paused.

A terrifying aura pressed on their shoulders like a mountain. They could not even pinpoint the origin of this aura.

However they now remembered the warnings had they received before and finally believed this village was protected.

They ran away as fast as they could, the villagers had no idea they had just escaped disaster.

Their lives continued like normal, as normal as they could be in their situation. With everybody as strong as heroes.

The villagers were able to farm their fields in less than a day, after that they were bored to their minds.

The village which was always occupied with working finally had time for entertainment. Games were invented to keep them busy.

The young and hot blooded man built a sparring ring and fought each other with the young fairies cheering them on.

The life essence inside those fruits improved their skins so these girls looked as beautiful as princesses.

Just like that time flew by and it was already the third year of the war, less than two years before Ved wakes up.

Naledi was still watching over the village, it was entertaining. Of everybody the one who surprised her the most was Muyang Ren’s father.

The man started training, both in martial arts and tempering his body. The other villagers did not do this.

They accepted the strength boost as it was and left it like that. Ren patriarch on the other hand did not seem to be satisfied.

After working in the fields he would go to the mountains and start punching rocks and lifting boulders above his head.

The actions out a massive strain on his body but the life essence feedback would then strengthen him.

His body was adapting rapidly due to the life essence. Because of that his strength grew above everybody else’s including his son.

On the second year he included his family, forcefully. His wife and daughter tried to protest.

As mortal woman they were raised to be wives, the idea of having to be strong enough to protect themselves was a strange concept.

To them, it was their husband who was supposed to protect them. The Ren patriarch was not having it.

He realised he got the most feedback during the first week after consuming the fruits and that was when they trained the hardest.

Because of this, by the third year the Ren family were the strongest in the village by far and these fruits were even more special.

They were infused with an even denser life essence when she planted them so they gave more energy than the first apples the Ren family ate.

So even the avarage villager here has the physical strength of a rank 1 mid stage expert.

Of course in a real fight they would lose since physical strength was only one aspect of battle.

However this gave them confidence and they started hunting outside. Before they barely had meat.

While they had farm animals, they ate them sparingly but since they can hunt now, they are meat almost everyday.

The village was peaceful and happy but the world outside was anything but. The two sects finally got tired of playing and went all out.

Suddenly stronger experts appeared, their battles were so destructive they threatened this entire world.

Naledi learnt these guys came from outer domains, from the mother sects or main sects as they called them.

Each sect brought five projection realm experts. She could’ve easily killed them and be done with it but it wasn’t her fight.

Fortunately they kept each other in bay so not one of them managed to reach the cave except the villagers.

Because they were mere mortals the mighty cultivators paid them no mind. Because of that they managed to go inside the cafe unnoticed.

This happened on the first week of the fruits harvest during the third years. The villagers brought baskets of their crops.

They knelt Infront of the cave and Muyang and his father went inside. They knelt Infront Ved’s egg and prayed.

They burnt incense to him. Naledi almost busted out laughing, she wondered how he would react when he woke up.

After praying the villagers would leave the crops Infront of the cave. Ved’s life aura washed over them.

Not only did they not rot but grew more nutritious instead. The local small beasts feasted themselves.

These beasts naturally grew strong and some even ranked up to rank 2. However unlike what one would expect from demonic beasts.

These ones were very tame, even when they saw the villagers they did not attack instead they continued grazing.

However they did not dare enter the cave, demonic beasts had incredible senses and knew whatever lay inside was beyond them.

The fourth year of the war came and now there were only a few months left until Ved woke up.

Naledi couldn’t wait, five years a short time to them. With the increase in their lifespan came a different perspective of time.

She could nap and wake up three generations later and to her it would feel like it had only been a hour.

Even so, she still missed him and she was glad he was about to wake up. The war intensified but she did not care.

Since she was bored she decided to try something she had never done before. Create a new cultivation technique.

However she was disappointed, it took her less two weeks to create an earth grade cultivation technique.

She worked on another, time passed and eventually she managed to create a heaven grade.

To be more specific she upgraded an already existing earth grade technique to heaven grade.

However no matter how hard she tried, she couldn’t even touch legendary grade. She sighed and stopped.

Ved was about to wake and it was time to check in him. Just as she was about to fly she felt over 20 auras lock on her.

She turned her head and saw manifestation realm experts from both sects surrounding her and sighed.
