The beastmen turned to look and saw Feiyan emerging from the woods, holding Qiao Ang.

Qiao Ang was back to his usual self. The only difference was a faint, golden flame that now seemed to flicker deep within his light brown eyes.

Seeing Qiao Ang was safe and sound, Qiao Xixi strode forward and took him from Feiyan’s arms into her own embrace.

Qiao Xixi planted two big kisses on his little face. She often didn’t care how exceptional her cubs were; she was far more concerned with their health and happiness.

"You’re amazing, Qiao Ang. Now all of you are cubs with Beast Souls."

Qiao Xixi nodded in thanks. "Thank you, Clan Leader. I’m going to take the cubs home now."

"Yes, yes. Have Feiyan escort you back."

Feili gave Feiyan a light kick. Feiyan responded by reaching out to pick up Qiao Qiao, then taking Qiao Ang from Qiao Xixi’s arms as well.

Qiao Xixi froze. That was a request she hadn’t expected.

Feiyan, who had been standing by the door the whole time, was also surprised. He stared at the cub in astonishment, his gaze softening.
