Be Careful, Scum Dad! Mommy Is Back!-Chapter 101 - Being Scolded as the Mistress
Chapter 101 -101 Being Scolded as the Mistress
Late at night.
Xining had just finished visiting Ji Chao and Ji Ze, kissed the cheek of her soundly sleeping daughter, and lay in the master bedroom, lost in thought; it had been one day since she learned that “the Ji Family had arranged a blind date for Ji Muye.”
In the quiet bedroom, only the occasional chirping of insects came from outside the window.
Monkey’s later words echoed in her ears: Ji Muye did not refuse the family’s arrangement.
Those words reopened a long-forgotten issue for Lu Xining: he was always meant to remarry; whether due to his status or the consideration of Old Sir Ji of the Ji Family, it wouldn’t be allowed for the youngest and most promising heir of the Ji Family to remain single.
The person who had come to her for the engagement with Ji Muye was Mr. Ji, but the actual decision-maker was Old Sir Ji.
Lu Xining was certain that she no longer harbored any love for Ji Muye.
But at this moment, she truly felt uneasy.

Perhaps she was concerned about how Ji Muye’s future marriage partner might affect Ji Chao and Ji Ze.
With this worry on her mind, she gradually drifted off to sleep.
On the other side of the ocean.
Over the deep blue sea, the sky had just begun to turn gold and red.
Yan Dong stood respectfully behind the man, “President Ji, the news about the blind date was released by Old Sir Ji himself, and the invitations have all been sent out. Old Sir Ji wants you to return to the country by Friday.”
It wasn’t just the elite circles of Jingzhou; every prominent family that was on good terms with the Ji Family and had an unmarried daughter of suitable age had received an invitation from the Ji Family.
Old Sir Ji even made it explicitly known that this banquet was being held as a matchmaking event for his grandson.
The transparent glass window reflected the man’s indifferent, cool pupils, and the corners of his mouth curved into a mocking smile.
Seven years ago, the Ji Family had gained a reputation for being grateful and dutiful through a marriage; what were they going to exchange him for now?
He coldly smiled, “Pass that woman’s news to my father.”
While Ji Muye dealt with the domestic matchmaking matters during his business trip, Lu Xining’s side was equally disturbed.
A photo of Song Henian sending her flowers was anonymously delivered into the hands of his potential match.
Chen Li, the pampered sole heiress of the Chen Group, rarely encountered anything she couldn’t have, and Song Henian, who had rejected a union with her, was one of those rare things.
Especially after learning that he went to give flowers to another woman right after their blind date, she held a grudge against Lu Xining.
“That bitch dares to steal the man I’ve set my sights on!”
Her friends, who were out shopping with her, saw the photo of Lu Xining and were surprised, “This person looks familiar, kind of like… that’s right! She looks like the ex-wife of the president of Shi’an Group.”
Chen Li: “A woman from the Ji Family?”
“Yes, I saw it online before, but the post was immediately banned after I glanced at it. It was probably that Ji Family lady who did it.”
“This woman doesn’t look as beautiful as you, Li Zi. Maybe she’s even had plastic surgery.”
“And, I heard that the Ji Family didn’t invite many people from the circle to their wedding years ago. It was that woman who forced the marriage with a marriage certificate; that Ji Family guy didn’t like her at all, it was deliberate.”
Her friends, who were following their family’s instructions to get close to the Chen Family, always spoke what Chen Li loved to hear.
Chen Li herself, a famous socialite blogger with millions of followers, immediately had an idea after hearing her friends.
That day, as usual, she went to pick up her two sons from school.
She felt something was off as soon as she got out of the car.
“Isn’t she the mistress who wrecked the female blogger’s engagement online? So beautiful, yet doing something so despicable. The kids are unlucky to have a mother like her.”
“How could she seduce men if she weren’t pretty? Home-wrecking sluts like her always think they can do whatever they want with a bit of beauty!”
“Pah, shameless slut! The female blogger is about to get engaged, yet she goes and seduces her fiancé.”
The three women huddled together, looking at her with sidelong glances filled with overt mockery and sneering sarcasm. They even intentionally raised their voices, seemingly certain she wouldn’t confront them.
But Lu Xining wasn’t one to take things lying down.
She walked right up to them and asked, “Excuse me, is it me you’re calling the ‘mistress,’ ‘vixen,’ and ‘slut?'”
The three women were taken aback by Lu Xining’s direct approach, their eyes darting around evasively.
Quickly gaining composure, the blonde with the vilest language sneered at her.
“What, you did it but won’t own up? The kind of woman I despise the most is someone like you, who knows the man is engaged and still throws herself at him. You’ve disgraced all of us women!”
The other two women also displayed looks of disdain, as if by doing so they could somehow seem more noble.
Lu Xining calmly spoke, “Have you actually seen me seduce a man?”
“What sort of woman am I, according to you?”
“To slander without knowing the truth, with words like ‘slut’ and ‘vixen’ rolling off your tongues so easily—what does that make the three of you?”
Her barrage of questions left them speechless, but they were still defiant!
The blonde immediately pulled up the latest video posted by Chen Li’s account, standing tall in mockery, “Dare you say the woman in this photo isn’t you? The rightful fiancée is condemning you online, and you’re still pretending here!”
In the video, Chen Li had on meticulous makeup, tears streaming down her face, crying and announcing she would stop updating her videos—for her boyfriend, soon to be her fiancé, had cheated on her!
The last photo she posted was none other than the one of Song Henian giving Lu Xining flowers.
Seeing Lu Xining frozen, the blonde felt like she had just stumbled upon the truth. She gave her companion a look, and the latter quickly tried to sneakily record with her phone.
However, in the next second, the phone was snatched away by the Lu Family’s bodyguard, prompting her to yell, “What are you doing? Give my phone back!”
Lu Xining, coming back to her senses, stated calmly, “I didn’t do such a thing.”
The blonde glanced at her, a sneer mixed with jealousy playing on her lips, “Who would believe that? You don’t look like the faithful type.”
The other two chimed in after her.
“Exactly, the real deal has even got the evidence, and you’re still making excuses here.”
“Having you as a mother, your child’s really drawn the short straw. How could they ever hold their head up in kindergarten?”
Lu Xining’s gaze turned icy as she swept it across the last speaker, her powerful presence causing the woman to stumble backward several steps in fright.
She stammered, “It—it doesn’t matter if you glare at me. This video has tens of millions of likes. You can shut me up, but can you silence those tens of millions?”
Lu Xining looked around and saw that many people were stealing glances at her. They weren’t shouting like these three women, but the contempt in their eyes was just as clear.
She found the blogger video from someone named ‘Big Pear’ and forwarded it to Song Henian.
His romantic debts were his own to settle.
He almost immediately called her back, but Lu Xining didn’t answer.
The woman had been right about one thing—the video had too many views and reached too many people.
If she didn’t handle it well, it could negatively impact her three children.
Furthermore, this was the entrance to a kindergarten, where the children of these people were classmates with Ji Chao and Ji Ze. And children being at such a sensitive age, a permanent solution was best.
Lu Xining: “If that’s the case, let’s just call the police.”
