Back to the 70s: My Childhood Sweetheart Spoils Me Rotten-Chapter 752 - 754: The smallest is also the easiest to bully
"I want to be with Sister." Gong Ruzhi didn’t understand why his parents wanted him to be independent in the future, and he didn’t want to understand.
To Gong Ruzhi, following his big brother wasn’t as interesting as following his sister.
"No way." Gong Ruwen wouldn’t indulge Gong Ruzhi. If he was spoiled at such a young age, would he fear anyone in the future?
"Sis." Gong Ruzhi looked pitifully at Gong Ruini. He knew that as long as his sister agreed, his big brother’s opinion could be overridden.
Gong Ruini looked at the pitiful Gong Ruzhi and thought to herself how nice it was to be young, what a handsome little boy, with skin full of collagen.
More importantly, those big eyes looking at you like that, sigh, she almost wanted to agree to his request immediately.
No, she mustn’t agree. Gong Ruini suddenly snapped back to her senses; if she agreed, wouldn’t that make the boy think that his big brother’s words held no authority?
As long as what Gong Ruwen said made sense, Gong Ruini wouldn’t oppose him in front of Gong Ruzhi, otherwise, her brother’s dignity would be lost.
Looks like there’s a chance, Gong Ruzhi thought as he noticed his big sister looking at him for a long time. His mood brightened as he felt he might get what he wanted.
Gong Ruini wagged a finger in front of Gong Ruzhi, "No way, Xiao Zhi, you should follow your big brother, and then get up early every day to exercise with him."
Ah, sister is bad, she doesn’t like Xiao Zhi anymore. Gong Ruzhi was dejected, but he was dumbfounded by what he heard next, "I have to exercise, too."
"But I’m just a kid, right?" Gong Ruzhi knew that his brothers had to exercise, but wasn’t he just a kid?
"Mom said I’m a kid, so I can exercise later," Gong Ruzhi whispered.
Fortunately, their dad was assertive for once; otherwise, with Cai Meina’s nature, she probably wouldn’t be willing for several more years.
But now that Cai Meina’s protection was gone, this boy certainly couldn’t be allowed to stay lazy.
Zhuge Zisu, carrying a stack of documents, passed by and happened to hear Gong Ruzhi’s whiny words, "Xiao Zhi, are you a man or not? Only girls in the family can skip exercise. Are you a girl?"
"Nonsense, I’m a boy." Gong Ruzhi was anxious; he was his sister’s favorite little brother.
"Then you need to exercise." Zhuge Zisu never really cared for this kid who would compete with him for Sister Ni’s affection.
Ever since Gong Ruzhi was born, Zhuge Zisu noticed his status slipping lower and lower, to where it couldn’t go any lower.
He couldn’t pass up such a golden opportunity.
"Exercise, huh." Looking at the chilly weather outside, with the wind blowing, Gong Ruzhi shrank his neck, "Cold."
This boy hadn’t even started exercising yet and was already complaining about the cold. Who knew what he’d say once he actually went out, a real coward.
Zhuge Zisu gave Gong Ruzhi a disparaging look, "Then don’t ever say you’ll protect Sister Ni again." Shouting a slogan means nothing; actions matter.
"I will protect Sister." Gong Ruzhi was angry, he knew Brother Zisu was bad, always competing for his sister.
"She’s my real sister, why don’t you go protect your own sister?" Annoying guy, Gong Ruzhi wished he could hit Zhuge Zisu, but he didn’t dare.
Not only would his big brother surely reprimand him harshly, but his sister wouldn’t be pleased either.
Though he couldn’t hit, he could glare fiercely to show his might, otherwise, they’d really think he’s easy to bully.
Oh, this little guy learned to glare now, Zhuge Zisu wanted to laugh, freeing up his hands to pinch his chubby face, "All this glaring does is make you look easy to bully."
"Wah." Gong Ruzhi protested. He was only glaring, but how could it escalate to physical action?
"It hurts." Gong Ruzhi sniffled.
"You..." Gong Ruini didn’t know what to say, maybe, "Xiao Zhi, with that chubby little face of yours, combined with your pouty lips, it really makes people want to do what Zhuge Zisu did."
If she said that, this kid would probably cry even louder and might roll on the ground.
Glancing at the fairly clean floor, Gong Ruini thought it best to forget it.
"I apologize." Zhuge Zisu didn’t want his most respected Sister Ni to be troubled, so he offered a not-so-sincere apology.
After all, he and Brother Banxia often teased Brother Guangran, so apologies were second nature to him, easy to say.
Gong Ruzhi was unaware; to maintain Brother Guangran’s dignity, he often had heart-to-hearts with the twins, so Gong Ruzhi never witnessed the twins apologizing swiftly after bullying Zhao Guangran.
To the current Gong Ruzhi, the hated one apologizing was a sign of surrender, indicating he, the victorious one, should make a request.
"No pinching my face again." Covering his face, he puffed angrily at Zhuge Zisu.
This request, Zhuge Zisu didn’t even need time to consider, "That’s impossible. If you make mistakes again, that’s the punishment."
Who would pass up such a perk?
About to open his mouth again, Gong Ruwen quickly intervened, "If you don’t make mistakes, you won’t face such punishment." Fed up with his brother’s warnings.
Usually, Gong Ruwen could ignore it, but if someone wanted to cry loudly, let them; it could be lung exercise.
However, today was different. If their mom heard it, she’d be all protective and might insist on taking the little son back.
So the best tactic was to calm this kid down.
Right, remarkably, Gong Ruwen managed to appease Gong Ruzhi, "I won’t make mistakes again."
He was a good boy, after all, "I won’t give you the chance."
Really won’t make mistakes? Zhuge Zisu laughed inwardly, the poor child didn’t realize being the youngest meant being the protected one, but also an easy target for elder siblings.
But this shouldn’t be mentioned, or the kid would definitely cry.
"Also, you can’t compete with me for sister." Originally with one request, but since Zhuge Zisu didn’t agree, Gong Ruzhi decided to add another.
"Do you have the skill to stop me?" Zhuge Zisu extended his hand to lightly push Gong Ruzhi, a stubborn little kid suggesting so many demands, he wondered what the kid was thinking.
Darn, Gong Ruzhi was fuming. Though naive, he wasn’t dumb enough to not understand the implication in Zhuge Zisu’s words.
Zhuge Zisu didn’t care how angry Gong Ruzhi got, he merely gave a nod to Gong Ruini and gracefully left.
