Level 5 and beyond was a complete mystery to Knox, but he could infer that these were the levels where the Time Law started to become an unstoppable force. A crazily powerful Element that could leave even Virtual Disaster Realm Hegemonies begging for their lives.

'And the key to harnessing such incredible power resides within this munchkin,' Knox thought with a grateful smile. 'Bringing her along for the journey has truly been one of the best decisions I could've made.'

"Big Bro," Lily called out. "A disturbance in the force."

"There's a disturbance in the force?"

"Yes," Lily nodded, cutely pointing to the west from over his head. "That way. Many, many people."

"How many exactly?" Knox asked, trying to use his Divine Sense and Perception Attribute to see what she was seeing. 'Damn, I'm still not there yet. Her keen level of instinct truly is incomprehensible.'

Over time, Knox had discovered that Lily was not only invaluable for her |Time Cheat| Prospect, but she also possessed an unnatural ability to perceive the presence of living beings from incalculable distances away. This allowed her to determine the existence of others long before he could.

With a disgruntled look on her face, Lily closed her eyes and deeply focused on those approaching. Sticking up four fingers, she stammered, "Four million."

"Another Otherworlder's main army, most likely."

"Yes, like you," Lily confirmed, finally opening her eyes. "Painful to see anymore. Sleep now," she concluded, hugging his head before dozing off.

Knox warmly smiled. "Good work, Lily."

However, within a split second, that warm smile curved downward. His expression froze over, his piercing gold eyes emitting a murderous glow.

"I've already annihilated the kingdoms of more than ten of you," he uttered coldly as Level 5 Intent Swords materialized all around him. "Yet you still covet my possessions?"

Donning his shadowy hood, he briefly cocked his head behind him. "Follow Zapher. He'll instruct you on where you'll be stationed in my empire or if you'll be staying here in this territory."

FWIP!

With the sudden appearance of a devilish butler in the Middle Soul Formation Realm, all the newly indoctrinated subordinates shouted, "Yes, My Liege!" before following their orders.

After Zapher—the once-mighty king of a formidable kingdom—teleported away with all the people of Sandoon, Knox fixated on the west. Increasingly greater amounts of Level 5 Intent Swords emerged around him, each capable of slaying a Soul Formation Realm powerhouse.

Since the second quarter of the Devilstar Secret Realm's first trial, Knox had become an entirely different person in terms of power. His Sword Intent had not only advanced to Level 5—the Multiplication stage—but he had also broken through to the Core Formation Realm.

A feat that was only made possible because of the |Dragon Lord's Heavenly Requiem|—a cultivation technique that perfected his foundation in the Foundation Establishment Realm. It had also subsequently advanced his Total Foundation to the Mid-Saint Rank, bringing him one step closer to whatever lay beyond that.

As for how |Dragon Lord's Heavenly Requiem| functioned, there were a grand total of five Requiems, each of which was like a miniature lightning tribulation.

Pass the lightning tribulation, and you progress to the next Requiem.

When Knox attempted his breakthrough into the Core Formation Realm, he experienced one of these lightning tribulations. Just that single one—the weakest of the five—had nearly killed him. However, from his wrestle with death, he had not only successfully broken through and reached the First Requiem, but he had also acquired what made the |Dragon Lord's Heavenly Requiem| such an overpowered cultivation technique.

Requiem's 1st Phase - Underworld Lightning

Each achieved Requiem granted access to a more powerful Lightning Source. For the First Requiem, this was Underworld Lightning—the same lightning type he had to survive during his first Lightning Tribulation. It was an extremely potent Lightning Source, capable of harming even ghosts and other evil entities that traveled between the world of the living and the dead.

That, however, didn't mean Underworld Lightning wasn't effective against the living—because it definitely was. A fact that Knox was about to prove as he imbued his Level 5 Intent Swords with his Underworld Lightning.

ZAP! ZAP! ZAP!

RUMBLE!!

The world shuddered under the might of thousands of Level 5 Intent Swords imbued with Underworld Lightning. Entire mountain ranges were obliterated, leaving massive charred craters in their place.

However, just before Knox could direct the power of his Intent Swords toward the distant targets, a faint, familiar voice carried through the wind.

"Darling~!"

"...Sh*t…"

Knox immediately dispersed his Sword Intent. He sighed and tried to speak, but before he could even get a single word out, a soft, curvy body collided with his.

"I knew I was right~!" Cela said happily. "I just knew you were ranked first, Darling~! And there was no way the fastest-growing kingdom in the King's Grounds could belong to anyone but you~!!"

'Fuck…'

Twitches ran across Knox's face. He truly hated how accurate his crazy stalker was when it came to things like this.

'Should I just kill her and save myself the hassle…?'

*Grumble…*

"Hmm?"

Looking up, Knox saw an adorable, grumbling face glaring daggers at Cela.

'Well, even if I don't kill her myself, I'm pretty sure the little one will do the deed sooner or later…'

Shaking his head, Knox grabbed Cela by the shoulders and pushed her away.

"Kisses~?" was the only thing Cela's twisted mind could think up.

*Bonk!*

"Stop being…" Knox struggled to find the right words. "Just stop being you, okay?"

Cela furiously nodded, hearts swimming in her eyes. She kept stretching out her arms, looking for cuddles. Knox swatted them away repeatedly, yet she wouldn't relent.

"Could you quit it!?" he growled.

Cela nodded in rapid succession.

"Good," Knox said. "Now could you tell me why it is that you're here with your entire arm—"

*Smooch, Smooch!*

Knox: "...."

"What are you doing…?" he asked.

"Kisses!"

*Bonk!*

"Ouchies…!"

Knox berated the r*tarded girl. He had not a damn clue how her brain worked—how it figured that just because he wanted her to quit doing one thing, she could just go back to doing the previous thing he told her not to do.

But no matter her mental deficiencies, he made sure to drill into her all the Do's and Don'ts.
