Chapter 186 - 185: Nothing a good round of slapping can't fix
Boom!
"Die!!!" Without hesitation, Ming Peng spun around and unleashed a punch with all his might. Dark wind swirled around his fist as it shot toward Yun Wuji with apocalyptic might!
The wind howled and surged, sweeping away shattered trees and already devastated mountains. The ferocious gale forced Ming Xiao to stagger back involuntarily, while the elders and disciples were flung away like leaves in a storm.
However, although Ming Peng's reaction was fast, Yun Wuji was countless times faster. The attack passed through his afterimage and continued on its path, obliterating even more mountains in its wake.
Smack!
Yun Wuji appeared on Ming Peng's left and, with a swift backhand, slapped the man across his right cheek. The loud crack echoed as the Old Ancestor was sent flying, crashing into the ground with a thunderous impact.
Although they were both at the Level 10 Divine King realm, the difference between them was like heaven and earth. Even if a hundred more Ming Pengs gathered, they still wouldn't be Yun Wuji's opponents.
"Old... old ancestor!" Ming Xiao's eyes widened, and his body froze stiff in an instant. He stood rooted to the spot, muttering slowly in disbelief.
His ancestor was the patron saint of their clan and the strongest person in the entire East Territory of the East Ruins Realm! Even though he had sensed that Yun Wuji was stronger than Ming Peng, he never imagined the gap between them would be this vast!
Bang!
"Arrhh!" Ming Peng shot out of the massive crater he had been slammed into, letting out a low, guttural roar as he charged at Yun Wuji with a ferocious expression. In the blink of an eye, he was in front of Yun Wuji, his hands curling into talons as he made a vicious grab for him.
His hands transformed into those of a bird, sharp talons swirling with dark green wind. Visible dark lines trailed in the air where his talons slashed, the sheer force of his attack distorting the space around them.
"..." Yun Wuji shifted his shoulder slightly to the left, his movement small and graceful. With that subtle motion, the sharp talons brushed past him, slicing through empty air. Then, Yun Wuji's right hand moved at an almost invisible speed, grabbing Ming Peng's head, while his left hand seized the arm that had just missed him.
With a forceful pull, he yanked the arm viciously, and with almost no resistance, the hand was torn clean off the shoulder. A torrent of blood gushed out from the severed shoulder, splattering everywhere and dyeing the ground red.
"Agh!!!! Bastard!" Ming Peng let out a piercing, agonized scream. His eyes were bloodshot, veins bulging on his forehead as he stared at Yun Wuji's calm face with disbelief, anger, and helplessness. He struggled desperately to break free from Yun Wuji's grasp, but his efforts were futile. Yun Wuji's grip was like an unbreakable vice, he couldn't even budge an inch.
Smack!
Yun Wuji casually tossed the arm in his hand aside and slapped Ming Peng across the left cheek. The sharp sound of the slap reverberated through the entire mountain. All the disciples and elders watched this scene, their teeth clenched and bodies trembling in fear.
Smack!
"You..." Ming Peng opened his mouth to speak after being slapped again, but another sharp slap cut him off mid-sentence.
"Sto..."
Smack!
"Wait..."
Smack!
"Please, sto..."
Smack!
"Mercy..."
Smack!
"Yamete kudasai"
Smack!
Yun Wuji continued to slap him dozens of times until his face was completely disfigured. At first, even though Ming Peng knew he was weaker, he still tried to act tough. But after receiving more slaps, he finally broke down and began to beg for mercy.
This scene shattered the faith of all the disciples watching. They had never imagined they would witness their revered ancestor in such a state, being slapped like a misbehaving grandson disciplined by his grandfather, right in front of their eyes.
The one most affected was Ming Ao, who had just woken up to this scene. He felt like he was still dreaming, trapped in a nightmare he couldn't escape from.
After a while, Yun Wuji finally let go of Ming Peng and asked, "Do you know why, despite your transgressions, I still spared your life?"
"N... no..." Ming Peng rasped, his voice hoarse. As he spoke, his disfigured face twitched constantly, his entire body still trembling from fear. But, he still managed to hold on and finish his sentence.
"Because I need a dog to do things for me, and in this barren place, you're the most useful dog," Yun Wuji said, glancing at him indifferently. "However, I only keep obedient dogs. If you turn into a 'bad dog,' then I'll have no choice but to kill you and wipe your entire clan from existence."
"Yes! This old one will not let Lord down!" Hearing his warning, Ming Peng's body shuddered even more intensely. He immediately fell from the sky and dropped to his knees, shouting loudly in submission.
Then he glared at his stunned clansmen and roared, "What are you waiting for? Kneel, quickly!"
Internally, he was filled with deep regret. He wanted to slap himself for being so dumb. Why had he tried to ambush this devil? If he had just followed the example of the Eastern Frost Nation and submitted directly, he wouldn't have had to suffer like this. At most, they would have lost some resources and reputation. But now, he had lost his damn arm and been humiliated in front of his juniors!
Soon, news of him being slapped into submission would spread across the entire East Territory. Damn it!
"..." All the clansmen exchanged looks of confusion and disbelief. They still couldn't accept what had just happened.
"This little one swears to follow Lord Jiao's orders faithfully!"
The first to follow Ming Peng's lead was Ming Xiao. He immediately dropped to his knees, prostrating himself as his forehead hit the ground with a loud thud, pledging loudly.
Seeing their Patriarch also submit to this devil, the elders slowly knelt to the ground, their voices rising in unison, "We swear to follow Lord's will and never betray him!"

"We swear to follow Lord's will and never betray him!"
After the elders, the disciples present also kneeled to the ground, pledging in unison.
Floating above the sky, Yun Wuji watched as millions knelt, pledging their loyalty to him. Yet, his expression remained indifferent. Though the Dark Roc Mountain Clan was the strongest in the East Territory, in the grand scheme of the East Ruins Realm, it was nothing more than an insignificant clan.
And in the vast Primal Chaos, the East Ruins Realm was just as insignificant.
During the conquest of the Dark Roc Mountain Clan, not a single disciple was killed. Yun Wuji had controlled both his attacks and Ming Peng's, ensuring they wouldn't harm the nearby disciples. After all, these people would soon be his 'slaves'... ahem, subordinates.
"Rise!" Yun Wuji said slowly. He then glanced at Ming Peng and Ming Xiao and said, "Follow me."
Without waiting for their reply, he turned and flew straight toward the main hall.
Ming Xiao stood up, glancing at Ming Peng apprehensively before both of them followed Yun Wuji into the main hall.
"What are your orders, my lord?!"
Upon entering the hall, Ming Xiao and Ming Peng spoke respectfully, their gazes cautious as they looked at Yun Wuji, who was sitting in the main seat.
Yun Wuji swept his gaze over them, making both shudder. He spoke slowly, "I need a large amount of devil jades and profound cores. Gather everything in your treasury and bring it to me. Also, from now on, you will put all your effort into hunting beasts to collect profound cores. Order all disciples to participate."
"..."
Hearing Yun Wuji's orders, Ming Xiao hesitated for a moment. It wasn't that the request was absurd or unreasonable, but their sect was required to offer a large amount of devil jades as tribute to the East Ruins Sect every hundred years. If they handed everything over to Yun Wuji now, what would they give the East Ruins Sect in the future?
However, before he could voice his concern, Ming Peng had already spoken, "We will follow your order, my lord!"
"Good!" Yun Wuji nodded lightly, then moved on to the second point. He looked at Ming Peng and said, "Your Dark Roc Mountain Clan alone can't satisfy my needs, so I need the Nine Great Sects to help with that."
"My second target is the Sun Death Sword Realm, and I hear you have a close relationship with the Falling Sun's Sword Master," he added with a meaningful smile. "You will accompany me there."
Seeing his smile, Ming Peng's whole body shuddered. He immediately dropped to his knees and said, "Yes, my Lord! Let this old one be your mount!"
