Nan Hai Yan turned around and saw his brother, Nan Hai Lan, rushing over. Unlike him who would go to the frontline, Nan Hai Lan was stationed in the Capital City and it was highly unlikely for him to leave anytime soon.

"Brother, how’s father?" Nan Hai Lan asked.

"He’ll be fine," Nan Hai Yan said. He glanced at his father who was still sleeping and then nodded at Doctor Qing and Butler Hou. "Take care of Father, I have to go."

"Yes, Master."

They agreed.

Nan Hai Lan actually wanted to let Nan Hai Yan stayed for a longer period of time, but in the end, he didn’t say anything. He knew very well that Nan Hai Yan was very busy and to be able to squeeze some time to see their father was already the most he could do.

As Nan Hai Yan left the door, he saw Lin Mei Yu, his ex-wife, walking in his direction. Nan Hai Yan frowned.

"What are you doing here?"

"I heard that father in law is injured, so I come to take a look." Lin Mei Yu looks at Nan Hai Yan. "Of course, if you didn’t want me to be here, then I’ll leave."

Nan Hai Yan looked at Lin Mei Yu deeply. Even if the two of them were married for a period of time, he didn’t know her that well. "You’re no longer part of the Nan Family, so you’re not allowed to enter."

"I’m only staying outside. I’ve no intention to enter the room either."

"What do you want, Lin Mei Yu?" Nan Hai Yan asked, his tone was low and his eyes were watching over Lin Mei Yu’s moves carefully in front of him.

Lin Mei Yu smiled faintly. "I just want to see how my father in law is doing for an hour or so."

"Are you sure that you can postpone your work for this?"

The same excuse that Lin Mei Yu always used in the past was that work was so busy that she had no time to be with Nan Hai Yan.

Lin Mei Yu shrugged. "I can spare an hour."

Nan Hai Yan turned around. "Do what you want, don’t disturb my father."

"Alright, I’ll just take a look from the waiting room." Lin Mei Yu nodded and walked to the waiting room at the side. With Old Master Nan’s status, the hospital room for him was naturally the highest one.

Nan Hai Yan ignored Lin Mei Yu and then walked away to head back.

He still has things to do.

Nan Hai Lan was inside the room and saw Lin Mei Yu. He only nodded at her but didn’t make any conversation. For today, he asked for a few hours of leave in order to see his father and asked to change his shift.

Thankfully, his position was not very high and Nan Hai Lan was able to do this.

But it would be difficult for him to ask for more because of the current situation in Green Planet. They were preparing for a battle and there were various incidents out there.

As the elevator reached the first floor, Nan Hai Yan walked out and saw Nan Hua, who was waiting for the elevator. He was surprised to see his daughter here and then patted her shoulder. "Your grandfather will be fine."

"I know, Father," Nan Hua replied.

"Go up and see him first."

"En."

Nan Hua entered the elevator and then clicked the floor where her grandfather was staying. Soon afterwards, Nan Hua reached the floor and headed to the VIP room that belonged to her grandfather.

"Young Miss."

Nan Hua nodded. "Has Nan Xian Mu and Nan Xian Tang came?"

"Young Master Xian Tang is still on his way from the landslide area. You should have taken a different plane on your way return," Butler Hou replied. "Young Master Xian Mu has visited and then go back again."

Nan Hua nodded and then turned to look at Nan Hai Lan and Lin Mei Yu. "Uncle, Madam Lin."

Nan Hai Lan nodded.

Lin Mei Yu furrowed her eyebrows for a moment and then nodded, not caring about how Nan Hua called her.

Nan Hua herself didn’t care too much about Lin Mei Yu as she walked inside and saw her grandfather was sleeping on the bed with several equipments there.

There were also robots monitoring at the side.

The use of robots were already quite common and in some planets, they were even the dominant ones. However, Green Planet didn’t dare to use so many robots for all kind of fields because they didn’t have the core control for everything.

These robots were imported and they were only used for some important areas that would be beneficial for their help.

One of them was naturally for medical use.

Nan Hua glanced at the robot for a moment and then at her grandfather. At this moment, Old Master Nan looked very calm and peaceful. He was lying on the bed with his eyes closed, sleeping calmly.

Just looking at him like this, no one would think that he was injured.

He was more like sleeping.

"Young Miss, Old Master will be fine," Doctor Qing said. "His injuries are relatively mild but he’s a bit stubborn."

"I know, thank you, Doctor Qing."

Doctor Qing nodded and walked to the waiting room where Butler Hou and the others were located. Even if he was Old Master Nan’s personal doctor, he didn’t have to stay beside Old Master Nan all the time.

With Nan Hua inside, there was no need for him to worry so much about Old Master Nan.

Nan Hua sat on the chair beside the bed.

She looked at Old Master Nan and guessed that this might be the last time she had the chance to see Old Master Nan because of her mission from the organization.

This war... wouldn’t end anytime soon.

Nan Hua slowly stretched her hand and held Old Master Nan’s hand. She whispered in a low voice, "Grandfather, Grandma told me that you should stop being a stubborn old fool. Live well, Grandpa."
