Chapter 41: You belong to me

Never had Caius thought he’d be so distracted despite a woman’s soft hands around his cock. Even if the Vampire was gripping and jerking it hard enough to cause him pain.

Something about this situation—besides her insistence on referring to herself as his Mother and her painful handjob—didn’t feel right. He looked around searching for his clothes but didn’t find them. They really were just gone.

Also, this erection shouldn’t be happening and it just came out of nowhere.

And then his eyes widened slightly in realization and he relaxed a bit as he smiled.

"None of this is real," he said.

Athenodora leaned back and away from him with a smile,

"Insightful. But ’real’ is a matter of objective perception." She said.

Caius noted how those words sounded like what Samantha told him when they met for the first time. Of course, at the time, Samantha was talking about realities and forces on a scale greater than what was happening here but the similarity was uncanny.

’If I had a dime for every time I’m with Arlette and I get snatched up to have my perception on things around me flipped around, I’d have two dimes. Not much but very interesting that it has happened twice.’

Athenodora had no idea about the thoughts running through Caius’ mind. She just continued to ask,

"Why? Are you not feeling this?" She asked as her hand began to glide up and down Caius’ rod. It moved so fast that it started to blur.

She leaned in close and grabbed his earlobe with her fangs as she breathed into his ear.

"Do you not like it when Mommy touches you?"

Caius shuddered. The words, the tone, the delicious breath. Even the predatory nature of how she neared him and leered at him... It was all so exciting.

He tried to rein himself in so he didn’t get lost in that feeling but it was so hard. Before he realized what he was doing, he had raised a hand and placed it on her back.

His hand felt across the smoothness of it and his fingers ran across the dip where her spine was as his fingertips began to tingle. He could feel an underlying power in the tattoos on Athenodora’s back. Or maybe that was just his horniness sending thrills throughout his body.

"Haha," Athenodora let out in a short laugh, "So you do like it."

"It’s hard not to," Caius admitted.

The memories he inherited reared their heads again, trying to fight the pleasure he was feeling. Trying to make him feel like every bad thing that had ever happened to him was Athenodora’s fault.

The memories weren’t entirely wrong.

Caius might have already been in pain and mourning before she arrived but her turning him into a Vampire was what really caused his years of depression.

The thing was though, the only reason to feel resentful at Athenodora was if he hated being a Vampire, and while for five years that had been the case, it all changed from the moment Kevin’s soul took over this body. HE had no resentment for his creator. In fact, he was glad she turned him. He had seen the fate that lay ahead of Caius rejecting this ’gift’ and had no intentions of following the same path.

That said, he wasn’t entirely swayed by Athenodora’s presence either.

[To Kill A Demon Lord...] had described her as too much of a manipulative bitch for him to not be cautious of her.

Everything she was doing so far, had to have a purpose.

And with that thought in mind, he finally managed to regain his lucidity as he took his hand off her back and grabbed her arm instead.

"Hmm?" Athenodora looked up at him in surprise.

With visible struggle, Caius raised his other hand and grabbed her other arm, staring into her Vampire-red eyes.

"Stop it!" He said through gritted teeth, "Stop toying with me and tell me why you’re here. Why I’M here."

Athenodora raised a perfect brow and gave his dick one last jerk, smirking when Caius twitched and winced as he tried his best to not let out a groan of pleasure.

And then she released it and raised her hands in a look of surrender. But that only annoyed Caius more because one second he was holding her arms and the next, she had escaped his grip and was moving freely.

First, it was his erection and now it was this. It was so trippy how she was manipulating him and he wasn’t sure he liked it at all.

"Seriously Caius, you’re starting to annoy me," Athenodora said and turned away from him treating him to a view of the perfect arch of her ass and the way her short gown swayed around the lower half of her body as she sashayed away from him while letting out a sigh.

"Does a Mother need a reason to visit her son?"

"You’re not my mother," Caius pointed out.

"Fine then," Athenodora said and for a brief second she sounded hurt but of course that was all part of this game she was playing. Whatever it was.

Her voice regained a lustrous tone as she turned back to face him with her arms raised and spread,

"Let me rephrase; Does a Creator need a reason to visit her Spawn?"

Caius frowned and when he opened his mouth to say something, Athenodora interrupted.

"The answer is No, sweetie," she said, "I can visit whenever I feel like it. However, I feel like it."

As she was speaking, she suddenly vanished from Caius’ sight and reappeared right in front of him a quarter of a second later, leaning her face close again.

"Make no mistake, you are what you are because of me. You belong to me."

Her fingers were on Caius’ chest again. First, she tapped her fingertips against his skin and then she leaned close and played a kiss on it before spreading her lips so she could graze her fangs across his sternum.

And then she dug in and stabbed her claws into him, drawing blood from all five puncture wounds as well as a gasp of pain from Caius’ lips. The sound only made Athenodora’s grin wider in some kind of sadistic desire before she let her tongue out of her mouth lick at the wounds, sucking the blood up into her mouth.

The taste had to have been glorious because she trembled with need that broke through the facade of confident ownership she had been portraying for a while now. And then the look was back as she closed her eyes and reveled in the taste of Caius’ blood.

"Oh, absolutely wonderful. You won’t believe how glad I am that you didn’t lose your flavor. That would have been such a shame.

I can still remember that night when I first tasted it. I must admit, it took me by surprise. I knew right then my task was not going to be easy. Even harder than normal.

Usually, once I start, I can never stop. I’ve never had restraint. Never bothered with it. If I find you delicious, I drain you. Seems far too restrictive and way too much work to keep my meals alive and suffering just for a few pints of blood every day. Meals are a dime a dozen. They’re everywhere. And I’ve always believed that no matter how tasty a meal is, there will always be another more tasty one to be found."

There was something chilling about how Athenodora referred to her victims as meals. Not even as humans or whatever race they were. Just food to be devoured.

Even worse was that this was probably the one time Caius understood where Athenodora was coming from. Except that he was glad he had restraint. It wasn’t just about blood for him, after all.

Athenodora continued,

"It’s why I’ve never had Spawns. If I tried to make one, I’d just kill them.

Also, the fact that I can’t stand having the little runts around and having to teach them how to behave and whatnot. I’ve just never had use for them.

But you were the one exception to my lack of restraint. A miracle considering how much more tasty your blood was compared to my many, many, many other meals.

My hatred for your Father was so strong that it forced me to stop and keep focus on the task I came to do.

It’s him we have to thank for this nice little moment we’re having."
