Armipotent-Chapter 1852 Turning Ally into Enemy
Chapter 1852 Turning Ally into Enemy
His expectation when he returned to Earth for seven days was to delve into the tower, push himself as high as possible, and rake in some good stuff from the tower, which was not a boring meeting with no merit. He made sure everyone in the room was aware of what he thought.
Tang Shaoyang shot a glance at Igmar. He recognized the face, but he did not bother remembering the name. It looked like this man took over the kingdom After he killed The Kingdom of Sand King.
"Don't you want to start the meeting? Then let's start the meeting. What are we going to talk about?"
Igmar smirked and pointed his index finger in the Tang Empire's direction, "Before we start the meeting, one of you must get out of the room. We agreed only five people could join the meeting, and you have six if you don't know."
Instead of responding to Igmar, he looked up at his wife, "Is the rule still the same? We can't fight and kill inside the city?"

Igmar flinched at the question. He received the message from Collin Morton, and he agreed that they still had an upper hand even with The Emperor's unexpected appearance. Instead of backing down, he stared back, challenging The Emperor.
"Yes. We can't use skill, aura, or even fight inside the city or we will be ejected out of the city," Zhang Mengyao almost rolled her eyes and was about to rebuke her husband to remind him to act like an Emperor. For some reason, his bearing regressed similar to the thug. But she was aware that she could not do that in front of the others. Rosalie's lip twitched, holding up as well not to remind her husband.
"Do you hear it? I can't kill you even if I want to, so what's the difference between five and six people? There's no way you are afraid of us, right? You should stay in your territory if that's the case instead of coming to the tower," Tang Shaoyang shrugged.
Collin Morton raised his hand at Igmar, signaling the man to stop. Just like the Emperor said, five or six people were not that different. They were here to talk, not fight. Igmar gritted his teeth, but he endured. Not just because Collin told him to, but he still could not forget how The Emperor handled the Demi-God Rank with ease.
"The United Alliance is willing to give an option to Earth Alliance to join us. We are willing to accept you into the United Alliance as we work together to keep our share with the three worlds," Collin Morton took out a scroll, "We have prepared the terms for how we share anything we find in the tower." He pushed the scroll to the table, "If you can open the scroll if you agree to join us instead."
"If we fight, the three worlds will reap the most benefit, and we don't want that," Marco added.
Tang Shaoyang turned toward Herman Bonivido, and the latter also turned toward him, "What's your answer, Sir Herman?"
Herman Bonivido looked at Tang Shaoyang's expression, and he could not get read of this man, at all. He let out a sigh inwardly and turned toward Collin Morton who seemed to be representing the United Alliance. The solution was easy, but they would suffer a big loss, losing many coins that would be a great help to rebuild their kingdom.
It was not a loss, but their profit would plummet, and he did not like that idea. His Advisor also agreed that it was better for them to keep the United Alliance inside the tower. However, he did not want to offend The Emperor. He was at ease knowing The Emperor would not join them in the tower. He was considering the option, but he wanted The United Alliance to join them instead.
Herman believed it was doable to make it happen, but there was an X-factor now. He did not know what The Emperor would do if he agreed with the terms.
"Why would we join The United Alliance? We can lower our share to your level, and we believe the alliance will accept us instead of you," Herman was not stupid. They could lower their share to match the United Alliance's offer.
The share was from the resources that could be harvested such as mines, gardens, and so on. The alliance agreed to split evenly for four worlds if any of them found such a resource. The United Alliance was willing to lower it down to thirteen percent. For them, those resources might be important, but the treasures they could find here were more important for them. They did not mind getting less resources.
Collin Morton smiled while Igmar grinned ear to ear. Collin responded, "We have talked it out with them, and they are willing to accept us who posed less threat than the Earth Alliance."
Herman clicked his tongue as he realized why they were so confident when they came to meet him earlier. This explained why they were not afraid even if the Earth Alliance lowered their share. On top of that, Herman Bonivido did not want to lower the share to less than thirteen percent as it would be nothing when they had to share within the factions in their alliance too.
He massaged the space between his eyes, and then he glanced at his Advisor, and the latter nodded his head. He had talked it out with Frans before the meeting, and they both agreed that absorbing the United Alliance was better for the United Sovereign's benefit.
"Let's make a counteroffer for you gentlemen. How about if you join Earth Alliance instead? We are willing to give the Whitney Kingdom, The North Federation, and The Kingdom of Napoles a main seat in the Alliance. We will split the share equally between us, five percent for each faction?" Herman smiled, totally ignoring the fuming Igmar because Herman did not mention The Kingdom of Sand.
"What's the meaning of your offer, Sir Herman? Why are you excluding the Kingdom of Sand from the main seat?" Collin Morton questioned.
Herman smiled wider as the answer was so obvious, "While The Kingdom of Sand manages to retain its status as the big faction, they will not be able to contribute as much as we do if something happens. They are weaker to be the face of our alliance. Don't try to sugarcoat it, Sir Colin. We all know that if we put The Kingdom of Sand, then we have to put The Mecaya Kingdom, Olympus, The Africa Nation, even the Duchy of Michalina into the main seat."
"I will make it clear once more. I am willing to agree with your merger proposal, but we will merge on our terms, not yours. If you want The Kingdom of Sand in the main seats, we have to share the main shares with the remaining. Or we exclude the Kingdom of Sand and proceed with the merge."
Herman raised his finger when Igmar was about to say something. That gesture silenced the new king, "If you dare to threaten me with the three worlds, then you better say goodbye to your territory and all your people in my territory. You better stay in this tower for the rest of your life."
The atmosphere was getting more intense, and it was only Herman who talked. They had not heard anything yet from The Emperor. Collin Morton knew that Herman was giving them fair terms, and they could get the share equally. The Kingdom of Sand was hanging, barely counted as a big faction because a few months ago Asahi managed to overtake them. Even though it was just for a week, it showed their status as the big faction was at the bottom.
However, Collin Morton had his own belief that he could not abandon his comrade. Trust was something that could not be bought, and he was afraid that the other factions would see them badly. Collin Morton wanted to keep his reputation high and intact for his future ambition. They might not be able to conquer the whole earth with the Tang Empire, but he set his eyes on the other world, and he needed as many people as possible for his ambition.
"I agree with your proposal, Sir Herman," The first one to respond was Marco, The King of the Kingdom of Napoles. He quickly jumped at the chance because The Kingdom of Napoles was actually below the duchy, Olympus, and the Mecaya Kingdom in the leaderboards.
Igmar's eyes widened in shock at his comrade's betrayal. In his mind, the Kingdom of Sand only needed time. As long as they had enough time, then it would be just a matter of time for them to overtake the ninth, eighth, and seventh in the leaderboard.
"I also agree with your proposal, Sir Herman. However, we need to talk about more details of the share, and how we are going to share it with the medium and small factions," Victor Brent Whitney also agreed after some thoughts.
Igmar was fuming and turned toward Collin Morton. It was Collin Morton's idea to create the United Alliance and make their offer for the three worlds. Collin Morton's voice had more authority than the first two.
"I am sorry, King Igmar. But I have to agree with these gentlemen. We have to add the remaining big factions into the main seat if we put your faction in the main share. And it will ruin the balance when the Africa Nation favors The Tang Empire, and the duchy is their vassal."
