Chapter 1429: One vs Five

Battlefield 5

The charred black land was filled with a terrible smell. I wondered how anyone could battle here. It was a terrible place.

Swoosh!

Just as I was wondering, the warriors behind me entered the battlefield.

I turned towards them. There was a gap of a few meters between us. I wondered whether they would attack me or not.

The five Silver Mark Warriors exchanged looks. The next second, they moved from their spots and surrounded Zack Lockwood.

Seeing their actions, I brought out the white staff. I covered it in dark purple lightning force.

Boom!

The five warriors were all male Silver Mark Warriors. A middle-aged, burly warrior took a step forward and charged to attack.

His body was releasing metallic force. It was sharp. Even small contact could leave many cuts on a body.

Swoosh!

The other four warriors used their force and began releasing their attacks.

My eyesight and perception were sharp. I caught everyone’s details. My mind was filled with information in a matter of seconds.

When the middle-aged man’s attack was about to reach me, my white bone staff moved. It came into contact with his fists.

Boom!

An earth-shattering noise sounded.

The white bone staff, covered in dark purple lightning force, shattered the metallic elemental force easily.

The staff kept moving forward before striking the body of the middle-aged man. His chest was hurt.

Boom!

The middle-aged man felt the impact force before stumbling backward.

At the same time, my perception caught an attack from behind. I immediately launched a reverse attack.

The white bone staff struck the Fire Elemental Warrior. The dark purple lightning force easily extinguished the flames and landed a blow on him.

His ribs were hurt. He flew backward before crashing into the ground.

At the same time, I shifted my body in a flash to avoid attacks from the three other warriors.

Boom!

Several water arrows from the sharp-nosed warrior pierced the ground one after another. They landed vertically.

If those water arrows were to hit an average Silver Mark Warrior, they would have left the body riddled with holes.

Boom!

Suddenly, I felt a tremor beneath the ground. I moved away.

Sharp earth spikes protruded from the ground. One after another, they tried to impale me. I continued to move my body.

"Aahhh!"

The last warrior appeared behind me. I didn’t know when he had appeared. His body had undergone a small transformation.

Seeing that, I realized he was a bloodline warrior. Before his attack could reach me, I blocked it with my staff.

Boom!

A deafening noise occurred. The shock force spread across the area. The bloodline warrior stepped backward.

Taking the opportunity, I moved back to create a large gap between us.

This all happened within a minute. My senses were heightened. My perception covered all five of them.

They were all looking at me. I gripped the white bone staff tightly and circulated the purple lightning force.

The middle-aged man who had attacked me with the metallic element was injured. If I landed a few more blows, he would be severely wounded.

The Fire Elemental Warrior looked weak as well. My lightning attack had struck his body earlier. I needed to get rid of these two first.

Swoosh!

The five warriors started charging again. They intended to surround me and launch a coordinated attack. But I wouldn’t give them a chance.

"Phantom Movement!"

Both of my legs were covered in purple lightning bolts. In a flash, I moved from the spot. I darted toward the metallic element warrior.

The middle-aged man was stunned. He brought up a sharp weapon to defend himself, but his movements appeared slow in my eyes.

The other warriors charged at the same time to attack, but I reached the middle-aged man faster.

The middle-aged man raised a sharp object to strike me. Before his attack could touch my body...

Swoosh!

I struck the enemy using a staff. The staff blurred before slamming into the enemy’s ribs. The lightning force crushed them.

Boom!

A deafening sound occurred. Using the opportunity, I made another strike toward his head.

Puchak!

The head was struck. Blood gushed forth like torrential rain. He fainted on the ground.

Swoosh!

The next second, I sidestepped to avoid attacks from the other four warriors. The purple lightning bolts covering my feet made my movements faster.

My target was the Fire Elemental Warrior. He was panicking. If I had used even a little bit of shock integration force or other powers, the middle-aged man would have died already.

But I didn’t want to expose my cards. I was fighting using my real identity. I was sure Supervisor Kenny and the foreign creature Supervisor were watching my fight.

None of their attacks reached me. In a short burst, I reached the Fire Elemental Warrior. He tried to cause harm again using flame balls.

Boom!

But I easily evaded them. The flame balls missed me and landed on the ground with a heavy noise.

The shock force from the impact spread across the area. The other warriors were dumbfounded. They knew Zack Lockwood was a Silver Mark Warrior, but he had only recently advanced.

On the other hand, they were elite warriors. They should have been able to kill him easily. But they found Zack Lockwood’s strength was similar to theirs.

Specifically, they felt his movement speed was far better than theirs.

The Fire Elemental Warrior was horrified. Each of his attacks had missed.

Even when he made an accurate attack that should have been impossible to avoid at close quarters, Zack Lockwood’s body shifted within a second to evade it.

He was dumbfounded. He started to realize he was outclassed. He was no match for Zack Lockwood.

But the realization came too late. The white bone staff swept toward his leg. He wasn’t able to avoid the sudden attack.

Boom!

He fell to the ground. The lightning power began to damage his legs.

"Aaahhh!"

He let out a terrible scream. He felt his legs becoming paralyzed.

Apart from the inhuman pain, he couldn’t make a single movement. All of this happened within a minute.

The remaining three warriors stood rooted to the ground, feeling struck dumb.
