Chapter 1427: Killing Munro

Warrior Camp 5

Munro decided to act. If he delayed any further, the battle alarm could occur at any moment. He took a deep breath before walking up to the tent.

Inside the room, I heard a knock at the door. Hearing that, I raised my eyebrows in surprise. I didn’t know who was knocking. I got out of bed and went toward the door.

Creak!

I opened the door and saw a familiar personality again. Assistant Munro had arrived.

"Senior," I greeted him.

Munro was wearing a smile. "I have come here to talk to you. Won’t you let me inside?" Munro said.

Hearing that, I was stunned. I looked at him and invited him in. I turned around and led him toward the living room.

Munro looked at Zack Lockwood’s back. Subconsciously, he revealed a small glimmer of killing intent, but then it disappeared.

Boom!

The next second, Munro launched a sneak attack, his right fist covered in the golden element. The golden fist was about to puncture Zack Lockwood’s back.

At the same time, a sense of crisis covered my heart. My heightened senses kicked in; I felt danger coming from behind.

My perception activated within a second, and I caught a glimpse of the golden fist reaching for my back.

I immediately reacted and tried to dodge. My body shifted, but the golden fist grazed my side.

Boom!

The golden fist struck. I felt a tearing pain in my back. I lost my balance and stumbled forward.

Munro’s expression changed drastically. He didn’t expect Zack Lockwood to dodge at the last moment. He didn’t retract his golden fist; instead, he continued to drive it forward.

On the other hand, my perception caught the attack again. This time, I reacted faster. I stood up and faced the attack.

Swoosh!

I circulated the dull golden sealing force, covering my right hand.

Swoosh!

The golden fist was about to hit my chest. I sidestepped just in time, causing the attack to miss. The golden fist went past my face. At the same time, I slammed my own fist right into Munro’s chest.

Boom!

Under Munro’s shocked gaze, my fist struck him. The next second, a deafening noise sounded.

The sealing force took effect. Munro’s whole physique was completely sealed; he couldn’t move his body, not even his eyebrows.

He was shocked to the core. Munro didn’t know what was happening. His gaze fell on Zack Lockwood, and his heart filled with terror.

I circulated the dark purple lightning force. The sealing force was gone, and my right hand was now covered in lightning.

Boom!

I appeared in front of Munro and started punching his body one after another.

Munro couldn’t even let out a scream. His body was torn through by the rampaging dark purple lightning force, and his internal organs were suffering massive damage.

Munro couldn’t believe a Silver Mark Warrior was doing this to him. He tried to do something, but his body was sealed in place.

Boom!

The deafening noise would definitely alert others, so I continued to hammer his body with repeated blows. Munro looked bloodied. His Gold Mark Body couldn’t withstand my blows; his broken bones and flesh were visible.

Boom!

The barrage of punches left Munro half-unconscious. If it were any other Gold Mark Warrior, they would have died by now, but Munro was holding on. It showed he was no ordinary warrior.

I could have used another inheritance force to finish him off, but the traces would be found by others. It was best to finish him with the lightning attacks.

Outside

A crowd had gathered. They heard the noise from tent no. 200, but they didn’t know what was going on. They didn’t dare use their mental power, as it was against the rules and they could face punishment.

Earlier, they had heard the sound of elements. It appeared someone was practicing.

While there were training chambers available, they didn’t know why someone would be practicing in a living room. If not for that doubt, they would have already entered. They gathered purely out of curiosity.

Swoosh!

Supervisor Kenny arrived on the spot. Such a commotion did not go unnoticed. What’s more, he knew the tent belonged to Zack Lockwood.

"Quiet!"

Upon seeing him, everyone became quiet. Kenny’s gaze fell on the warriors, his eyes flashing with displeasure.

"What are you guys doing here? The battle sound could occur at any time. Go back to your tents and be ready," Kenny told them.

The warriors were taken aback. They couldn’t disobey the words of the Supervisor, so they retreated to their rooms. In the blink of an eye, the area was vacated.

Inside the tent, the sealing force effect was over. The lifeless body of Munro dropped to the ground. The overbearing dark purple lightning force had shattered his heart and internal organs.

Munro lost vitality quickly. Only after confirming his death did I draw the lightning force back into my dantian.

Charred smoke rose from the dead body. I didn’t know what to do next. I hadn’t expected Assistant Munro to try to kill me.

I had even let down my guard against him. If not for my super senses and perception, I would have received a fatal injury.

A helpless smile appeared on my face. I knew there would be attacks, especially as I was using my real face and identity. The hostile forces couldn’t sit still. I just hadn’t expected Munro to be the one to try it.

Knock!

I heard a knock on the door. My expression changed drastically.

"Who is it?" I thought.

I had no intention of hiding the killing; I should inform Supervisor Kenny. I just hoped he was not the same kind of person as Munro.

I collected my thoughts and went to the door. If it was a warrior from nearby, I would simply tell them I was practicing inside.

Creak!

I opened the door and was stunned. The person standing outside was none other than Supervisor Kenny. I greeted him and let him in.

Supervisor Kenny’s perception immediately caught the charred body inside. His expression changed drastically.

Swoosh!

He appeared in front of the corpse the next second. Seeing that, I shut the door and followed him back inside.
