Ancestral Wealth Inheritance System-Chapter 473 Ancient Creatures
Chapter 473 -473 Ancient Creatures
“You all go back to your positions. I have some things to discuss with this young man,” Broen said to the teachers at the school.
“Principal, are you sure there’s no problem?” They had witnessed Fang Jueyu’s strength and methods. Although they had confidence in Broen’s power, they were still somewhat worried.
“It’s all right, I will handle these matters.”
“Yes, Principal, then we’ll go back to continue the class.” In the classrooms of Saint El, Broen’s authority was undisputed. It seemed that the principal and this young man indeed had something important to discuss.
“Are you the young man from Huaxia called Fang Jueyu?” Though Saint El was isolated, Broen often went outside and had naturally heard about Fang Jueyu.
“Didn’t expect the principal to have heard of me,” Fang Jueyu said with a shy smile.
“Come in,” Broen said as he invited Fang Jueyu into his office.
The door closed automatically with a “creak!”
“Bam!”
Fang Jueyu felt a barrier forming around the room, seemingly to prevent eavesdropping.
He was instantly curious. He had only come to pick up a package, so what was this all about?
“Please sit!” With a wave of Broen’s hand, a chair slid under Fang Jueyu, “You came here for this, didn’t you?”
“Principal, aren’t you asking a question you already know the answer to?” Fang Jueyu laughed. “Otherwise, how could I have found this place?”
“Actually, I brought you here on purpose,” Broen admitted. “Only, you arrived much more quickly than I expected and in a rather unexpected way.”
“Heh,” Fang Jueyu scratched the back of his head awkwardly, having broken through the school’s gate, and now the principal was graciously inviting him to sit, which was quite embarrassing.
“It’s time to return the favor to its rightful owner.” Broen handed the meteorite back to Fang Jueyu.
“Thank you,” Fang Jueyu took it. “Xiao Yi, is everything fine with this item?”
“Yes, everything is normal, no tampering,” Xiao Yi replied. “Master, this old man brought you here probably related to this package. You might want to probe a little; I think this matter is not simple.”
“Mm-hmm!”
“Apologies, Principal, for breaking your school’s door in my haste,” Fang Jueyu apologized. “But rest assured, I will have someone forge a sturdier door with tier-three metal as compensation, and I will also help clean the lake.”
“Ha-ha, those are small matters.” Hearing Fang Jueyu could acquire tier-three metal, Broen grew more confident in his judgment.
“But Principal, you said you brought me here intentionally. I assume it’s not just to invite me for a visit?” Fang Jueyu asked directly. “If there’s anything, please just tell me. If I can help, I certainly will.”
“In that case, I’ll get straight to the point,” since Fang Jueyu was so direct, Broen didn’t beat around the bush, “Mr. Fang, you should know that our Saint El School developed upon the relics of this magic civilization.”
“Yeah, I figured, and it appears to be a relic from a tier-three magic civilization, though heavily damaged and missing much information on civilization inheritance.”
“Correct. According to some documents left by our former principal, the item in Mr. Fang’s hand should be a ‘delivery’ from a cosmic civilization.” Broen’s gaze fell once again onto the meteorite in Fang Jueyu’s hand.
“That’s right.” Given the other party had contact with advanced civilizations, Fang Jueyu had no need to concoct lies.
“So, does this mean Mr. Fang has a way to contact higher civilizations beyond Earth?” Broen’s excitement almost made his eyes light up.
“I suppose so.” Fang Jueyu nodded, indicating acknowledgement, though he honestly didn’t know what Broen wanted.
“Mr. Fang, please come with me,” Broen stood, “There is something I can only ask Mr. Fang to help with.”
“Oh?” A tier-three civilization was extremely advanced, and even without perfect inheritance, it would be at least ten times more advanced than Earth’s. Could there be a problem they couldn’t solve?
Fang Jueyu stood and followed Broen towards a forest behind Saint El Magic School. At the entrance of the forest, clear words were written.
“Forbidden Grounds!”
“Master, there’s a very strong magic power here!”
“Yeah, I can feel it, seems like it’s the power of a magic array, and it feels like something is constantly seeping out from that magic array.”
“Principal, isn’t this your school’s forbidden grounds? Isn’t it inappropriate for someone like me to enter?” Fang Jueyu hesitated.
“Mr. Fang doesn’t need to fret over these details. This has been a forbidden area since the establishment of Saint El School by our ancestors, only allowed entry by the headmasters of each generation. Yet, it’s not because there’s something unspeakable, but because there’s an ancient evil deity sealed here.”
“An ancient evil deity?” Fang Jueyu’s brow furrowed, had he really crossed into a fantasy epic?
“Mr. Fang, you must know, on prehistoric Earth, there was a massive resource conflict, right? Dozens of civilizations somehow found this planet, discovering some extremely precious minerals and triggering a worldwide war, wiping out Earth’s civilizations and life.”
“Yes, I know, your magic civilization was actually one of the invaders back then.”
“Correct,” Broen did not deny it, “But those actions were undertaken by previous people and have nothing to do with our current Saint El.”
Fang Jueyu nodded. The past had already gone by. The current Earth represented a new generation of civilization, and there was no need to pursue past matters. What mattered was how to use the remaining items from those invaders to help modern civilization develop.
“In that era, besides indigenous Earth civilizations, some incredibly powerful creatures emerged. Their power was terrifying, and even tier-three civilizations found it difficult to confront them, with these creatures engaging in battle using their flesh and blood.” Broen sounded as if recounting a myth.
“Yes, I know about that too. Many myths within Earth’s ancient civilizations derive from these prehistoric creatures. Is this forbidden ground related to those creatures?”
“Indeed,” Broen led Fang Jueyu into the Forbidden Forest, which was incredibly tranquil, with only some magical creatures mutated due to the dense magic power after intruding into the relic.
“What… what is this?” In the center of the Forbidden Forest, Fang Jueyu encountered a massive magic array!
The magic array was a circle with a radius of around ten meters, carved with extremely profound and obscure magic symbols, floating just a few centimeters from the ground, emitting a red dim light.
However, chillingly, strands of black vapor continuously seeped from it, eerily cold and terrifying, as if it repressed something incredibly evil.
“Is this a tier-three magic array?” Though Fang Jueyu hadn’t studied such advanced magic arrays, he could make some basic judgments from its structure.
“Yes, when our first headmaster of Saint El School came into this relic, this array was already here, a tier-three sealing magic array.”
“Mr. Broen, does this mean there’s an ancient creature sealed inside here?” Broen sighed heavily, as if exhausted of strength, and replied powerlessly, “Correct!”
