An Extra's POV: My Three Fiancees Hate Me-Chapter 152: Flying ship
Chapter 152: Flying ship
Riven opened his eyes to the vast wasteland that was ruined from battle. The skies were blood red, and the air crackled with embers of flames.
Riven saw different monsters running for their lives—Lizardmen, Goblins, Minotaurs, and more—each one looking for a way to escape.
And chasing them were the Beletrexs, many of them pursuing the monsters and consuming their souls with their tendrils.
Riven snapped back to reality after seeing that. His body was covered in sweat. This was the first time he had felt dread for the visions he had seen.
This is the first time I saw the creatures in my visions this clearly, he thought to himself. The vision lingered in his mind for minutes, passing—it was unsettling.
He decided to push the thoughts aside for now and focus back on his studying, but every once in a while, the thought of the vision would flow back into his mind.

Days passed, and it was finally time for the class-wide activity.
All the students of Class One were asked to gather inside the massive arena and wait. They all sat there in groups of their class.
The air was tense as all the classes got to see each other—something that rarely ever happened. But no one faced more evil gazes than Class A.
Originally, everyone didn’t like Class A. After all, they were the so-called Elites of the year and the best of the class. It didn’t sit well with others. But time had proven that Class A deserved their spot, with the latest proof being during the attack.
Besides the top ten that fought with their lives on the line, the rest of Class A led other students through battles and took down Demonized.
Now something like that was supposed to draw praise, but instead, it shined a light on the weakness of the others and heavily crushed their fragile egos.
So now all they held for Class A was hatred, envy, and spite.
"Seems like they don’t really like us," Noel said as he sat down beside Riven.
"Yeah, but it’s not like it matters to us. We just have to keep our standing as Class A," Riven responded.
"Hmm, look at you, being all up and active for your class," Noel said.
"Well, from what I’ve seen, the top ten of Class A are the only ones capable of leading this class. Many of the first-years are impulsive, maybe dumb, but the people that make up Class A are trained not only physically but mentally.
If we should fall out, the second-years will attack us like hungry beasts and completely bring down the first-years," Riven explained.
He wanted to hold the structure of power because he believed it was best. Unnecessary straying from the plot was something he wanted to stop if possible.
After sitting there and waiting for several minutes, a massive shadow was cast over the entire arena. The sounds of flapping filled the air.
Everyone looked up, beholding the massive sky ship pulled by six lesser wyverns. Everyone’s eyes widened and their jaws dropped. Only high nobles like the Dukes and Marquis may have ever seen something like this before.
For the rest, they had never seen such a massive flying ship.
Riven recalled the ship from the books—one of Yue’s most expensive modes of transportation in the story, but also one of the best.
The first model of the flying ships was created by the dwarves, the masters of magical engineering. Though they were harder to find than even elves, and they loved to gatekeep their innovations most of the time.
The massive ship landed perfectly inside the arena. The wyverns roared as soon as they landed.
Riven looked at the wyverns—two-legged creatures with wings. They had dark green scales and longer mouths when compared to dragons.
Riven knew all the types of wyverns that existed in this world. There were the lesser wyverns, the ones humans could capture and use for their transportation.
And even then, they were extremely powerful, and most times they had to be hammered from birth and grown to serve.
After the lesser wyverns were the common wyverns. Those ones didn’t fly around aimlessly—they had a structure that they lived by, like a government with an alpha or leader as well.
Most lesser wyverns feared the common wyverns, as they were stronger, faster, and had the purer dragon bloodline.
But all of them paled in comparison to the Royal Wyverns—creatures that are so large and powerful that they were most times mistaken as dragons.
They carried a very good amount of the dragon bloodline, and there was also the possibility of the Royal Wyvern evolving one day to become a full dragon.
Riven knew of one person who had two Royal Wyverns—the King of Vermillion—and he was trying to evolve them into dragons. But something happened in the story before he could succeed.

As everyone stared at the ship, Quin walked out with a smile on his face. He floated up into the air so that everyone could see him, and then he started speaking.
"Good day, students. As you already know, all of you will be heading to a special place where you will be staying for some days to come.
I hope you are all ready for it. Because when you step onto the ship, there is no going back. It will take one full day for us to reach.
So you’ll all be staying inside this ship for a day, and the competition will begin tomorrow. Everything else you need to know will be told to you once you step on board, so get up and walk in," Quin said, flashing a seemingly innocent smile.
But Riven felt something was up with it. He stared at Quin for a bit, trying to figure it out, and when he couldn’t, he decided to just lean on the side of caution.
"Noel, when you get inside the ship, keep your eyes peeled and be careful," Riven said.
