Golden Moon Pack

Lucas POV

I felt my sack grow heavy with need as my head spun dizzily, an indication that I was about to experience deep, immense pleasure.

“I’m coming,” I announced in a singsong voice as my movements became unsteady. Suddenly, my body pulsated and I felt myself shooting strings of my load into Vanessa who moaned like a banshee underneath me, her body clutching my rod, sucking out the last load from it.

Sighing, I pushed away from her, suddenly feeling irritated and walked towards the bathroom. I stood in the bathroom, letting the hot water cascade over his body, washing away the sweat and Vanessa’s scent. The steam filled the room, blurring my reflection in the shower cubicle. I rubbed myself with both hands, trying to clear my thoughts, but they remained tangled.

Every time I slept with Vanessa – Lily’s sister, there was a certain thrill in it, a danger that I couldn’t resist but it always left me feeling empty, hollow even. I turned off the shower, stepping out onto the cool bathroom tile. I reached for a towel, drying off the worst of the water before I wrapped it around my waist and stepped out of the bathroom.

“Are you going to class?” I asked flatly as I walked back into the bedroom.

Vanessa was sprawled across the bed with the sheets tangled around her legs. The scent of our sex still filled the room, irritating more. She turned her head lazily to look at me.

“No, I think I’ll skip today. Instead, I’ll go get my nails done. I’m due for an appointment. Afterwards, I’ll look for something else to fill up the rest of my day,” she replied, her tone light as if we hadn’t just spent the last hour together.

I felt a flicker of irritation. I knew her well enough to sense when something was off. She was being evasive and that usually meant she was up to something. I didn’t like being kept in the dark, especially not when it involved her.

“Are you sure you’re fine and nothing’s going on? Maybe something I should know about that you’re not telling me?” I pressed buttoning my shirt as I stared at her.

She got up from the bed, not bothering to cover herself as she walked over to me. Her bare skin was warm against me as she wrapped her arms around my waist from behind, leaning into my back.

“Nothing serious,” she murmured, pressing a soft kiss to my shoulder. “Just errands to run, and my usual self-care routine. Also, since I’ll be late, you know how long these things take,” she chuckled “You don’t have to wait for me for dinner tonight,”.

I frowned, my instincts becoming alert. She was being too casual, too dismissive. It wasn’t like her to brush me off, especially not after we had been together. Plus, she would go mad if I had a sandwich while waiting for her to show up for dinner. So, I didn’t understand the ‘you can eat dinner without me’. I turned slightly to look at her, my eyes narrowing...

“You’re sure?” I asked again, my voice carrying a suspicious edge.

She pulled back just enough to meet my gaze; her expression was unreadable. “I’m very sure, babe,” she said though there was a flicker of something in her eyes – something she was trying to hide. She leaned in and kissed me again, more linger this time as if to distract me from my suspicions.

I let her kiss me, but my mind was already working through the possibilities. I didn’t like not knowing what she was planning because the last time I had found out in the dying minute what they planned against Lily. Now, I wasn’t about to let it go without finding out. As soon as I stepped away to finish dressing, I made a decision.

I didn’t believe a word of what she said first of all. As soon as she left the room, I grabbed my phone and sent a quick message to one of the pack warriors I trusted. 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞

“Hey, can you keep an eye on Miss Vanessa today?” I instructed him “Report who she meets with, where she goes to and every other thing. It doesn’t matter if it’s suspicious or not, just keep me in the loop, okay?”

The warrior responded immediately, confirming that he would follow her discreetly. I deleted the message immediately, removing the evidence. I knew it was necessary, even if it made me feel uneasy. I couldn’t afford to take any chances, not when it came to Vanessa. There were too many secrets, too many things that could go wrong if she was keeping something from me.

I finished getting dressed, my mind already listing all the things I had planned – responsibilities I had planned out for the day. As I left the room, I headed down the hall and found myself thinking about Lily.

Since she left the pack, there’s been no word about her. The only thing we knew was the rogues sent after her failed to get her and she ran into Royal Hunter’s pack. Up until this moment, no one knew if she was still alive or in prison.

But I hoped to the gods that she was. I still missed her... and I still love her so much. Sometimes, I wish I could go back to the time when it was just us... when I was content with having just her by my side. With Lily, I felt as though I could really become anything I wanted. I was free and I felt like I could do anything. But now, with her gone from my side... my life was slowly losing its colour.

I was just floating, acting out a role that I hated. I hated this life... I hate myself for betraying her after the love she gave me. I hated myself for falling for Vanessa’s sweet voice and I hoped Lily was fine.

I really hope she survives and is happy.
