Almighty Father System-Chapter 419: Relapse & Panic.

Leo rushed back to the bedroom, and lay down on the bed. He counted, and it was just four seconds left before the punishment begins. Just when he was thinking what he would do in the various things that he needed during the day, Snow charged in after him and asked, "What do you mean?"

Leo said, "The illness has relapsed, I cannot move."

As he said this, Snow reached out to touch him and found that his limbs have started getting stiffer, and her face turned pale. She reached out for the mobile and said, "I will call the ambulance right now."

Leo used the last bit of his strength to grab her hand and shook his head as he said, "Calm down first."

In his mind the system pinged, ’Ping: Host will retain the ability to speak and swallow food, but the motor skills will be immobilized.’

Snow looked at him worriedly and asked, "What do you mean that your illness has relapsed?"

Leo replied calmly, "At the moment, my body is in pain but it has been happening for some time now. So, a few days ago, under a secret research project I developed a drug that would help me negate the pain, this is the final side effect, the body will need one day to heal from this pain and trauma."

Snow narrowed her eyes and said, "You are not a good liar, Leo Cardinal, I know that you have your secrets, but don’t insult my intelligence. I am just going to ask you, are you sure that you don’t need me to call a doctor for you? Because if you fucking died, then I will find a hunk from the Royal Family and make babies with him, you get it!"

As she said this, her eyes became teary, Leo sighed and he looked at her as he said, "Is this how you punish me for keeping my secrets? Crying when I cannot even hug you? Please, believe in me, I will be fine by tomorrow, you can take a monitor for the next twenty four hours, and I think I will be needing a catheter for urination because I have taken some water but not let it out."

Snow caressed his cheek, she knew that he was trying to divert the topic so that she doesn’t feel bad about the situation. The lady sighed and replied, "I will arrange for it, what should I tell Lily?"

Leo sighed as he blinked, although he could speak, but his body was aching terribly and he could not even move his head now. So, he said, "Well, you can tell her that it is because of the medicines that I took, they are now kind of restoring my body for the final time. Can you think of something, I feel like it will not work if I was to tell her."

Snow nodded and replied, "Yes, I will handle it. Anything else you need?"

Leo replied, "I would like to sleep for a bit, my body is aching a little from the sudden stiffness."

Then Snow covered him with the blanket and checked the on children before going out of the room. She called over her mother and told her about the situation. Anastasia was shocked to hear this and immediately boarded the next flight to the capital, after all, Lily now had to look after four people and while she was maintaining her composure, as her mother, Anastasia could sense that her daughter was distressed.

Snow got the catheter from the steward that was left to attend them. The steward found it a little weird but he knew what he should ask and what he should not because the world of the rich and powerful was not someplace where he belonged. So, he just did his job and entered his service room again.

Snow came over to the room and she looked at Leo who was sleeping, and then gently touched his crotch, she could tell that he really didn’t have any sensation in his body at the moment. She shivered a little before she took a deep breath to calm down herself as she had to address her daughter to address these things. That would only be possible if she was calm and in control of her emotions.

The young lady carefully inserted the catheter in Leo’s penis, in the past she had done it many times and had not forgotten these things. In the state of immobilization, Leo could not even sense when his bladder was going to squeeze and flush the urine out.

After she was done, she checked again on the sleeping twins and sat down on the other side of the bed as she thought of how to address this situation to Lily. The little one was going to be really worried if the explanation was not up to the mark. She had seen Leo recover, and that was the most joyful thing in her life. Snow didn’t want her daughter to be distressed over this, because the two of them never said it, however, they worried that Leo might reverse into the initial state of his illness or even worse.

She sighed from time to time again, because her mind was a mess. She took a deep breath and figured things out and before she knew it was time for her to go and pick up Lily, but she could not leave Leo and the kids alone like this so she called Kyle and told him to get Lily back, and even take the additional team with him.

In the meantime, Markus was visiting Alpha who was operating on Leo’s commands, and the young man asked, "Alpha, did you find out anything interesting?"

Markus had been given the proxy rights to see the things that Alpha found and to supervise him in Leo’s absence. The robot nodded and said, "Master Markus, there is something really interesting going on in the western side of the world at the moment. The followers and the people linked to the Morning Star tower are all in constant touch with many of the top players, but the most interesting thing that I found out was that even though these people are the descendants and the DNA carriers of the Reptilian, whose traces we found earlier, they have to follow the command of a person called the High Prophet."

Alpha waved his hand and pointed at one of the screens on the wall, and said, "This man is the current High Prophet."

Markus turned to look at the picture and he was shocked, "You mean to say that the President of the Zion country is the leader of this circus? Isn’t that a bit too far fetched?"

Alpha shook his mechanical head and replied, "There is proof for everything. I tracked down his lineage, and also found the mentions of some old family tree records that exist in the archives of the Morning Star Tower’s main server. I have a concrete proof that he is indeed the High Priest who is controlling everything from the shadows.

If you just pay attention, you will realize that he is not someone that the stories claim he is. Here, let me show you."

The robot then manipulated a few things and then three pictures appeared on the screens. The robot asked, "Sir, who do you think is the real father to the President, among the two people shown here."

Markus frowned and after much scrutiny he said, "That one on the left."

Alpha nodded and remarked, "Good judgement, that person is the real father, and his name is Achmed Nasri, the former chief judge in the supreme court of the Zion Nation. The current president was a child born out of wedlock, and was raised by the man on the right, who is the maternal grandfather in reality. They did this to save themselves the shame such a birth would bring to the family.

President Jey, was raised by an affluent family and also, just so you know, similar to him, his father was also someone raised without parents."

Markus raised his brow and said, "This is the family’s way to create the image of a young hero who is loved by all the people and they follow him."

Alpha nodded and replied, "The entire thing is a network they created over several hundred years of planning."

Markus was shaken, his eyes were wide open and he was speechless, and after a few minutes, he said, "What did you find about the Reptile and the difference it has with Goddess of Mercy?" 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮

Alpha replied, "Now this is an interesting question, the reptilians were the people who infiltrated the world to siphon off the resources from our world, and this resource was humans. We have an anatomy similar to them, but when they had arrived, we were very shallow in terms of intelligence, and so they helped us develop and trained the early humans. The western continents are referred as cattle grounds in many of the texts. The archives date back to several thousand years, and they even have translations as well.

As for Goddess Of Mercy, she was a space traveller as well, who had survived the onslaught on her own people back in her world, but her status was higher than the Reptilians and so they were scared of her, and they made the Clover Nation as a sanctuary so that she doesn’t harm their operations. The reason they have not acted till yet is because simply she left a prophecy, that in the future, if the code is violated then her prophet will invoke her and then the reptiles and their descendants would bear her wrath."

Markus sighed as he held his forehead and said, "Well, this is too big for me to say anything. Keep it up, I will tell the President later."
