Almighty Father System-Chapter 169: Cardinal & Rao.

Leo jumped over the mansion fence and walked over to the gate. He noticed everything in the surroundings, thanks to his regular training in the virtual realm. The young man came to the door and said, "Come on, I know that you are watching the monitor on the inside, Elvin, open the dam door or I will take it down, believe it or not."

A voice sounded from a seemingly hidden speaker, "What the fuck are you doing here? How did you survive that hit?"

Leo replied, "Miracles happen, I guess. Now open the door, we have important stuff to talk."

He knew that his friend was not the one to stay hidden and act like a coward as the killer of his mother was walking free and imposingly.

The door opened with a click and Leo went inside the mansion. He called Jock on the phone and said, "Go and circle the area, make sure to capture all the eyes on us, and inform the guys at home as well."

Jock agreed and Leo looked at the dimly lit living room and said, "To make them feel like you are truly a depressed recluse, you have been putting quite an effort."

A calm voice sounded from the dark corner above the staircase, "Let us talk in the study. I have lights there."

Leo walked over and climbed the flight of stairs rather quickly and found a man standing in the darkness. Looking at the young man before him, Leo smiled cheekily and said, "Elvin Rao, you bastard, I knew you wanted to have a physique like Adonis."

The young man before him was not looking depressed at all, on the contrary his eyes were sparkling through the dark shroud and even more, his body was akin to a shredded meat tower.

Elvin looked at Leo and said, "Cardinal, you should explain yourself first. What's with the eight feet jump with two steps? Want to win gold in global games?"

Leo chuckled and Elvin followed before the two of them hugged each other. He didn't blame Elvin for not helping him back then because Elvin had his own troubles.

They were in touch but gradually the connection faded because Leo had to dedicate his effort in coping up with the trouble at his family. Elvin broke the embrace and led him to the study room where they sat down and Leo found that his friend had really changed a lot since their last meeting.

The feeling was mutual because Leo had also changed a lot. Elvin asked, "How have you been?"

Leo replied, "I have been fine, what about you?"

Elvin shrugged and sat down across him on the couch and replied, "It has been fine, planning a revenge is a very intricate emotion and at the same time very slow process."

Leo nodded and replied, "I can relate to you, I have been building up slowly. However, Aron snitched about my recovery and joyful family situation to Carole Primal. It was a disruption that I didn't take into account."

Elvin nodded and replied, "You got careless. The people you need to avenge is not only Carole Primal, but everyone else who was involved with him from back then. The list contains at least dozen people and they are still in Angkor City.

Cardinal, you have to settle things at home first before you can aim at outside. Only then can you be sure that none would attack you from the shadows."

They had not met in five years probably, but here they were discussing a very crucial matter within a few minutes of their meeting.

Leo nodded and said, "Indeed, it is as you say. I got careless and overlooked the point that Carole was able to deal such a damage because he had help. I need to gather my confidants as well if I want to deal damage to that asshole."

Elvin nodded and said, "Over the years, I have been gathering a lot of evidence against that bastard brother of mine. Yesterday night, the reason he was able to spot you was because he was holding a sex party on the upper floor of the theater building. I have video evidence against him and his cronies."

Leo raised his brows and asked, "What's the catch?"

Elvin replied, "If I submit it to the police, they would prosecute all the people involved and the situation will dilute. Over the years, this has been the reason why I haven't submitted anything, otherwise Aron would have been behind bars for at least fourteen years."

Leo shook his head and said, "Give me a few of these pieces, I will have my men show these videos to the elders of those involved. They will be given an option, either accuse Aron of being the instigator or the clips will go public. These rich snobs prefer their faces more than anything else. They won't hesitate even a minute before cutting away from Aron."

Elvin asked, "Why would they believe you?"

Leo smiled and said, "Because I will tell them that we have proof of their scions involved in drugs and sins, even if they surrender to the police they will be prosecuted. Drugs is one of those unredeemable crimes in the constitution and the Narcotic department is filled with those who hate the rich."

Elvin sighed and replied, "You still have the same edge like you did back then. Common sense is still the best weapon I guess."

Leo nodded and Elvin asked, "What would happen to the assets that are owned by Aron?"

Leo knew that Elvin wanted to win what belonged to him. He said, "We will ask Aron to confess that he was the one who caused your mother's accident and then we will say that he did this all to acquire property, your seclusion over the years would be the key factor, but you ought to loss some muscle, and dress like an eccentric person. Play the part. Everything will return to you, if the court objects on the use of theaters, demolish them and build anew. They can use the transformation anyways."

Elvin nodded and said, "Fine, let's do this then."

Leo reached his hand out, and Elvin shook it as the two teamed up to take down one of Carole's hand that dared to reach the skies.
