Brand waited for the return gate to appear for quite a long time before he finally accepted the current situation.

"We were really being left behind?" He asked Seraphine. He needed someone to reaffirm the situation, that he was not hallucinating.

"The mission overrides the authority of Den of Worm." Seraphine pointed to the System overlay.

He was genuinely surprised. Even though he always knew that Seraphim could influence this world to a certain degree, to be also tap the law of the Demon Realm as well?

So far as he was concerned, Seraphim and the World were two separate entities. He was an agent of Seraphim, sent to infiltrate the World to retrieve the God’s Artifact—Nano Machine.

The Cyborg Arm features a ’Weapon Morph’ capability, which equips it with a unique weapon tailored to his Scarab Form.

What he thought to be two separate systems was now integrating with each other.

’She always does this when she doesn’t want to answer.’

"Well... I expect that much from the highest tier of the angel beings." He stared at the little angel who was dancing in happiness when he praised Seraphim.

"My only concern was when I could return to the village?" His worries grew when the situation in the human world could possibly be worse than here.

’There was still the threat of invasion on the village, and the mysterious old man.’

"Karl and the others could handle it." He decided to trust his teammates.

After what they experienced together in the demon realm, he believed that the warriors could manage the threat somehow.

’Especially Karl, who was just built differently.’

’But what about Lena and the buried goat skull?’

Though so far, it looks like she was a part of the Third Prince’s forces.

The missing fingers hadn’t returned yet, even though the desert was shaking before he went into the demon rift. He couldn’t help but think that the beetle had been found out and just had been kept captive.

’If they did keep the beetle as a captive... Will they find out about its ability to connect senses to me?’

He wondered what Lena had been doing lately. Before entering the rift gate, she was nowhere to be seen.

There’s no point in dwelling on the worrying. The people in the village would be able to break through the challenges.

There were even the adult warriors in the village, and the chief of the Emas Tribe, who was still in the Chief’s Meeting.

’Everything should be fine? They say he was strong enough to trade blows with the dragons.’

Brand checked the notifications in detail, starting with the new Title he received. He was surprised to see that bonus stats were coming along with it.

Completing the mission also earns an additional 12 Karma Points. Even though he was still far from upgrading to Level 3. The Karma Points needed to upgrade the Level were so much higher than the previous requirement.
