Chapter 116: Chapter 116: Sang Qiao: “Garbage” Needs to Be Dealt with Daily
“Shen’er, how could you say such a thing? How could I possibly betray your father and the Sang Family?”
Mrs. Sang took a step back as if struck, staring at the person before her in disbelief, completely unable to believe he would say such words.
Sang Shen looked at her with cold eyes, his gaze neither surprised nor lost and offered no comfort.
His beloved mother had always treated Sang Qiao the same way, attacking her with the nastiest words she could muster.
“Siyang, do you think the same?” Mrs. Sang had no choice but to look at her younger son, her eyes brimming with tears.
“I’m not interested in whether you cheated or not; I just want to know why you despise Sang Qiao so much. Is it just because of what that so-called Master said? Now that he’s been caught, you don’t feel the slightest guilt.”
...
Sang Siyang averted his gaze, his face cold and merciless. He detested this fragmented family.
His father was only interested in profits, his mother harbored an inexplicable hatred for his sister, and she even tried every means to tear apart their sibling bond.
“I’ll do a paternity test to prove my innocence. As for Sang Qiao, I just hate her. Her birth has brought so much harm to the family, to me—I never wanted her in the first place! Yet she’s so cursed that not even a fall could kill her.”
Mrs. Sang said this with a flash of malice in her eyes.
Hearing this, both Sang Shen and Sang Siyang felt a sharp pain in their hearts, yet they were relieved that Sang Qiao was not there.
Sang Shen had lost the patience to stay any longer, “Jiaojiao, come with me. You don’t deserve to carry that face; go back to your original look.”
“Big brother, I can’t go back to how I was.” Jiaojiao shook her head unwillingly, not wanting to follow him. What a joke, she didn’t want her ugly face back.
And besides, she’s had bone shaving and double eyelid surgery, how could she go back?
“The plastic surgeon will figure out a way; come with me.”
“I don’t want to, and you have no right to dictate what I should look like.” Jiaojiao hid pitifully behind Mrs. Sang, her eyes red with tears.
In her heart, she cursed Sang Shen endlessly and secretly felt fortunate that she had already gotten ahold of the shares he controlled.
“Shen’er, haven’t you caused enough trouble at home? For Sang Qiao’s sake, do you even look like someone’s son anymore?” Mrs. Sang clutched Jiaojiao tightly to her side.
“Brother, let’s go,” said Sang Siyang, knowing all too well that if Jiaojiao didn’t want to go back to her former self, big brother couldn’t force her.
Sang Shen understood this as well and had no desire to continue staying in this suffocating home.
The two brothers walked out of the front door one after the other, their silhouettes resolute. Mrs. Sang’s heart clenched; she knew all too well that her sons were about to leave her behind.
She couldn’t help but grip Jiaojiao’s hand tightly. “Jiaojiao, it’s just you and your younger brother left for me. You won’t leave me, will you?”
“Of course not,” Jiaojiao replied noncommittally, secretly planning to cling tightly to this last card she held.
“You should move back home,” Mrs. Sang said, clutching her hand tighter. Ever since the so-called Master was arrested, her sons had been throwing tantrums at her, and her husband was not one to coax.
She felt utterly unsupported.
“I’m afraid that’s not possible. Mr. Si forced me to move out; if I dare to come back, I’m afraid he will target our family.”
Jiaojiao looked down, feigning distress, hoping Mrs. Sang would help her resolve this.
“It’s okay; then I’ll move out and live with you,” Mrs. Sang blurted out without thinking.
“But the place I live is a bit small, and there’s no maid,” Jiaojiao said, subconsciously wanting to decline. She couldn’t afford a villa yet, and it would be several more months before she received her share of the dividends.
As for selling her shares, she was not even considering it at the moment, as they could bring her even more value in the future.
“It’s fine, I don’t mind, as long as I can live with you.”
“Well, fine then,” Sang Jiao agreed reluctantly, though her heart was filled with disgust.

The next day
When Sang Qiao woke up, she saw the messages Ah He had sent the night before.
Ah He: “Damn, I suspect the sky has fallen because a bunch of top artists from the former Starlight Entertainment have submitted their resumes to our company. I guess it was your older brother’s doing, so I didn’t dare reply.”
Ah He: “Also! Fu Xing was kneeling outside the company building early in the morning waiting for me, apologizing to me. His humble attitude was really surprising. It turns out your crappy brother fired him.”
Qiaoqiao is sleepy: “Mm, don’t bother with them.”
Ah He: “ojbk.”
Sang Qiao dismissed these messages from her mind, got out of bed to wash up, and when she went downstairs, the chef had already prepared a sumptuous breakfast with both Chinese and Western options.
“Miss Sang, the bodyguards said that there were two suspicious men at the gate last night, although they didn’t seem to intend to come in. They’re asking for your instructions on how to handle it,”
Xiao’an reported the situation as he pulled out a chair for her.
“Just handle it as it should be handled. Just don’t let them in,” Sang Qiao said, eating her breakfast with composure, as if she wasn’t the least bit interested in the people outside.
“Yes,” Xiao’an immediately felt relieved and turned to go out and convey the instructions.
And so.
At nine o’clock in the morning, a pile of exquisitely beautiful bags was left at the gate. Sang Qiao saw this scene when she walked down to the yard.
Xiao’an was about to ask how to deal with those gifts when the sweet voice of Miss Sang came to his ears, “Xiao’an, garbage should be disposed of daily.”
“Yes, Miss Sang,” Xiao’an immediately understood and turned to the bodyguards.
The bodyguards also, with hearts aching, threw all of those gifts, which looked expensive, into the trash can.
Sang Nanfeng, who was stealthily hiding around the corner, watched his gifts being thrown away and felt heartbroken, “Is she blind? How could she see such beautiful bags as trash?”
“She doesn’t want to accept them,” Sang Shen said with a bitter tone, his gaze fixed on the figure with an outstanding temperament.
“Are we just going to squat at the gate and do nothing?” asked Sang Nanfeng, the eldest brother who, at that moment, was utterly devoid of ideas; he really didn’t know what to do.
“It’s enough that we can see her. There’s nothing else we can do,” Sang Shen now seemed to have come to terms with the situation.
He had come to terms with the reality that they would not receive forgiveness.

“Do you also think she will never forgive us?” the proud face of Sang Nanfeng showed fear for the first time.
He hadn’t quite believed it when his youngest brother told him, but now that his second brother felt the same, he began to doubt it too.
“It’s not about what I think; it’s the fact. Siyang might still have a chance, but me, never in this lifetime,” Sang Shen’s eyes immediately reddened.
He will never hear Qiaoqiao calling him “Second Brother” again, nor will he ever receive her gifts.
Even the simple wish of sitting at the same table to have a meal and talk with her seemed extravagant now.
“Is it really that serious…” Sang Nanfeng muttered in a low voice, his head down and eyes slightly red.
Was there no hope for him just because he had neglected Sang Qiao, even though he hadn’t done anything as bad as his second brother?
He had taken Fu Xing away, but he could compensate her with many artists, way more popular than Fu Xing. Wasn’t that enough?
