After going inside the shopping center, they didn’t wander anywhere else but went to the first store that they saw, which is a clothing shop.

The clothes on display could be seen as of high quality but most of them were clothes that were popular in the capital several seasons ago.

He looked through the clothes on display and most of them were casual wear, so he also picked some for himself and Layton Lewis.

When he asks what style and color, he wanted he just said to pick whatever he wanted.

After receiving such a reply, he didn’t bother Layton Lewis any longer and just picked some clothes he thought would be more comfortable for himself and for Layton Lewis.

Both of them went around the shopping center floor by floor to buy the things they needed.

After a few hours they had already bought all the necessary designs and other essentials for the house such as paints, bedding, kitchen utensils, and other things.

All the things he bought mostly catered to his preferences because Layton Lewis was unreliable. Layton Lewis allowed him to buy whatever he wanted.

When he asked what he wanted or what color he should buy Layton would just tell him to buy whatever suits his taste.

So, after asking a few more times and receiving the same reply he didn’t bother him any longer and just bought things according to what he wanted.

Layton Lewis only became interested in shopping when they entered a store that was selling sexy lingerie and other props for adult night life.

As soon as he entered the shop, he actually wanted to go out immediately, but he was stopped by Layton Lewis.

"Why are you going out? We should buy more of the things here," Layton Lewis said seriously.

"Why should we buy more? I brought all the clothing’s that Lyre gave me, so we don’t need to buy more," Ryzel said with obvious resistance.

"No, those things won’t be enough. I know you only have a few of them left because I tore all the others, so we need to buy more as replacement," Layton Lewis seriously explained.

Ryzel looked at Layton Lewis incredulously. He can’t believe Layton Lewis was able to say such things in a very serious manner.

While he was surprised, he was pulled by Layton Lewis inside the store.

Layton Lewis meticulously picked outfits for him while he was just watching at the side.

Ryzel didn’t bother to refuse anymore as it seems that Layton Lewis was really interested dressing him up in various sexy outfits at night.

"Of course, because these clothes looked good on you," Layton Lewis answered concisely while still picking up some clothes.

Ryzel also looked around the store without blushing anymore as his shame was already gone when he always wore those clothes for the past few weeks.

It already became his daily routine to wear them at night, so he was already accustomed to it.

Having harmonious night life is still very important so he didn’t mind wearing things that Layton wanted.

They stayed at the store longer than the time they spent in other stores.

And Layton, who hadn’t chosen anything in the other stores, was now busy picking out everything he wanted him to wear.

Layton Lewis almost picked everything that the store has and even talked to the store owner for additional customization, that’s why they spend more time staying there.

"Did we manage to buy everything?" Layton Lewis asked after going out of the store.

"Hey, I gave you a copy of the tentative list, right? It seems that you really don’t have any interest in the things we bought except for my nightwear," Ryzel said while looking at Layton Lewis with one of his brows raised.

"It’s not like that. I know we managed to buy everything on the list. I am asking if we managed to buy everything that we needed that wasn’t on the list," Layton Lewis explained with a smile.

"Hmmm"

After Layton Lewis explained Ryzel still cast him a doubtful look but didn’t probe any further.

"Yes, we already bought everything we need. Even if I forgot something we could just order it online later on," Ryzel said.

"Then, let’s go and eat first. Afterwards, we need to go to the military headquarters," Layton Lewis said while inviting Ryzel to start walking towards the restaurant near the place they were at.

"I see. So, I’m going to meet my guards after this?"

"Yes, you are going to meet all of them today."

"By the way, are they going to release my mental power level today?"

"Yes, most of those connection already know your mental power level, but the formal release would this afternoon."

Once it was released some troubles should be coming towards him. So, he indeed needs to have protection so as not to cause trouble for Layton Lewis.

After eating at the nearby restaurant, they went to the ninth army headquarters.

As soon as their aircraft landed, they were immediately saluted by the guards at the entrance.

"Let’s go Ryzel," Layton Lewis said after opening the door for him.

After getting out of the aircraft Layton Lewis was leading him somewhere as they talk.

"Are we going to meet those that would be responsible for my security at your office?"

"Yes, you would see them there. After meeting them, I could show you around here. You could also check out your laboratory here."

"I have a laboratory here?" Ryzel asked.

"Yes, I let them prepare it together with your laboratory in the spaceship. We would be staying here most of the time so of course I would arrange a laboratory here for you."

"Wow, thank you!" Ryzel said with a slight smile.

He was actually planning to ask Layton Lewis about it, but he forgot to mention it yesterday. Now that Layton Lewis has already prepared it, he doesn’t need to worry about it anymore.

After walking for a while they finally reach Layton Lewis office.

As soon as Layton Lewis opened the door, they were immediately greeted by the people that were inside.

"Oh, both of you are finally here. How’s your shopping?" Mervin, who was also inside asked with a teasing smile he usually has.

Layton Lewis ignored Mervin but of course Ryzel can’t just ignore him, so he simply answered, "The shopping was fun."

"It would have been more fun for you if there were more varieties just like in the Capital Star. Unfortunately, this place is very background because of how far away it is."

Before he could reply to Mervin, Layton Lewis interrupted their talk and spoke to everyone around the office.

"Good day everyone. I know you have already been briefed by your team leaders.

As of today, you would be protecting my partner, Ryzel. Team one would be staying at the shadows as usual and team 2 would be protecting Ryzel in the light."

"Yes General, we understand. We would do our best protecting Ryzel from today onwards," the soldiers said solemnly.

"That’s good, you should always prioritize Ryzel’s safety in any circumstances even if it could go against some of my orders," Layton Lewis said very serious this time.

"Yes, General we would always remember our priority," the guards also replied seriously.
