After Breaking Up, I Married the General-Chapter 85 - 84: Battle in Area BR5875
Thanks to Ryzel we currently have potions to last for 4 days.
Those guys at the capital should also move faster if the battle lasts for more than 4 days then the stock we have would also not be enough."
"Enough with that, go to the logistics department and recheck our stocks again. I will be monitoring the situation here," Layton Lewis commanded.

Ryzel spent his time resting whenever Layton Lewis sent a message that it was already time for a space jump and most of the time, he was in his temporary lab making stabilizing potions, soothing potions and replenishing potions.
He gave away all his stockpile so even if they didn’t need the potions for the time being he still needed to make some potions for emergency purposes.
He needed to have potions with him all the time as he didn’t know what could happen. He especially needed to have more replenishing potions for himself.
The ring given to him during their wedding day is really effective. Ryzel could feel his mental power replenishing twice as before.
While wearing the ring he could also feel that his mental power was stronger than before.
It isn’t noticeable when he was making potions but when he was sorting Layton Lewis’ mental sea, he cleaned up a larger area than before.
The ring really lived up to its rarity and expensiveness. He could definitely feel how effective it was.
While Ryzel was busy making potions in the lab he heard Star giving him a notification.
[Master, General Lewis is calling you.]
"Star, receive the call," Ryzel said while arranging the things he used as he planned to take a rest for a while.
"Hello, Ryzel, we are already near Area BR5875. We will be engaged in battle in a while."
After hearing Layton Lewis say that they are already near the battlefield Ryzel paused what he was doing.
He has heard a lot about the battlefield and has also seen a lot of news about it, but this would be the first time he would be seeing it with his own eyes.
"Do I need to do anything?" Ryzel asked.
He knew that as a guide he couldn’t directly help on the battlefield, so he asked Layton Lewis if he needed to do anything.
"You can come to the command center and stay with Mervin for a while. I will also leave Maximus by your side to be your guard during the battle."
"Okay. I will be going there. I will just arrange everything in here for a while."
"Ok. We will be waiting for you."
Ryzel finished everything that he needed to arrange in his temporary laboratory and put all the potions he made in his space bracelet.
Afterwards he followed Layton Lewis’ instruction and went to the command center of the battleship.
As soon as he entered, he saw a lot of people being busy. All of them are paying attention to different screens that are showing different things.
There are also constant reminders and voices all around which shows how busy they are.
"Canon photons being ready."
[Loading command 3...2...1]
[Energy checking 5...4...3]
"Energy cover being tripled."
[Area 1 being opened]
"All mecha troops are ready for dispatch."
[Arriving at Area BR5875 in 5 minutes]
"Successful contact with the fleets in front!"
"4 areas needing immediate support!"
[Energy covered raised]
Ryzel walked to the front where Layton Lewis was while looking at everything around him. A lot of screens were open which were displaying different things he didn’t understand. He just knew that all of it was related to the battle they were going to face later.
When he went to the front, he saw that the screen in front of Layton Lewis and Mervin was showing the actual situation of where they were going.
Ryzel saw Zergs with overwhelming numbers; he can’t even see the end of them while looking at the screen. He also saw a lot of spaceships and mechas with different quantum beasts resisting the Zergs and fighting back as they were defending their own line, not letting the Zergs pass by them.
"Ryzel stay with Mervin here for a while," Layton Lewis said.
"Are you going out?"
"Yes, I’ll be joining the battlefield. We need to finish this as soon as possible because we don’t have enough supplies. I will be leaving Maximus to you for your protection."
"You said you need to finish the battle earlier. Why don’t you take Maximus with you, you can definitely finish the battle earlier. I will just stay here, surely nothing will happen."
Ryzel knew that Layton Lewis was worried about his safety, that’s why he called him to the command center as it was the most guarded area and Mervin was also present who could serve as his guard for a bit. He also wanted to leave Maximus by his side as extra protection.
"No, Maximus needed to protect you."
"Don’t worry I will be staying right here. Besides, if I am in any danger I will call Maximus right away. Don’t forget I can still call him," Ryzel said convincingly to Layton Lewis.
With their established mental lock he could definitely call Maximus back when he needed it.
Maximus doesn’t need to stay by his side as it would be better for him to participate in the battlefield to finish it earlier.
Layton Lewis looked at Ryzel for a while and agreed. Ryzel knew that they were really lacking supplies, so they needed to finish the battle quickly.
"Ok. Mervin, don’t forget to look out for Ryzel." Layton Lewis said.
"Ryzel, don’t go anywhere without Mervin, understand?"
"Yes, I know. I won’t go anywhere," Ryzel assured.
After Layton Lewis instructed Mervin and Ryzel of what to do he finally went to get ready to join the battlefield.
"You’re not going to say anything to Lewis?" Mervin asked.
"Huh? What should I say?"
"Well... never mind."
Ryzel knew that Mervin was asking if he needed to say something to Lewis who was going to the battlefield. However, Ryzel didn’t really have anything to say.
He knew that Layton Lewis was capable enough on his own. So, it is better to just welcome him back than to worry about him.
"Ryzel, sit here first," Mervin said while offering the chair of Layton Lewis.
"Mervin, how long do you think this battle will last?"
"We still haven’t seen the tail of the Zergs in this Zergs wave so it might take longer to clean them up. Luckily, they don’t have any higher levels, so it was easier to clean them up himself.
According to the report the highest level of Zergs detected on the battlefield was only at S level. With S level Zergs as one the strongest it means that the current situation is still bearable for us.
The original estimate to complete everything was four days, but with Layton Lewis and Maximus joining, the battlefield could be finished at least two days sooner."
[Entering Area BR5875 in 3...2...1]
"Sorry but I’ll be commanding for a while so I can’t accompany you. Ryzel you can do whatever you want as long as you don’t leave here."
"I know you’re busy so you can go back to work first."
As soon as they arrived at Area BR5875 Ryzel could see the situation of the battlefield through the observation window in the command center.
He already saw a lot of videos about the frontlines as they also showed it a lot in news but seeing it in front of him is completely different.
When watching the videos he could only say that being in the frontlines is extremely dangerous. He just appreciates how the soldiers are sacrificing themselves to protect their homeland.
However, seeing what was happening in front of him he could only say how cruel the battlefield is.
The space which was originally dark and peaceful was filled with various kinds of destruction.
The originally clean area was also littered with a lot of Zergs remains and mecha parts.
Ryzel could see the soldiers killing a lot of Zergs around them together with their quantum beasts. The quantum beasts were also killing a lot of Zergs in their surroundings.
Even though the battleships are bombarding the Zergs, with mechas and quantum beasts fighting at the forefront it seemed that there wasn’t even a decrease in the number of Zergs.
He couldn’t even see how many Zergs were out there. All he could see was a lot of Zergs with no end in sight. Even if the soldiers kill some Zergs there would always be more Zergs attacking them.
He already knew that the number of Zergs would certainly be a lot, but he didn’t expect that their numbers were really huge.
As he looked through the deck, he could see some places where the mechas and quantum beast obviously don’t have any more strength to continue fighting back.
The soldiers were getting overwhelmed with the number of Zergs attacking them. They should be those soldiers that were fighting continuously at the front and needed to switch with others for them to rest for a bit.
