Adventures Of The Ero Bunny-Chapter 45: One High Rank Monster

After the third wave of monsters I was beginning to become exhausted to the point of 'failure', my muscles screaming at me while my mind became sluggish as the hour or so of fighting wore me down to barely being able to function.

There were so many corpses around us to showcase the large amount of fighting we had done that I was already wondering if the only thing that this life had to offer was death and bloodshed, even though an hour ago I had been choking on Heidi's dick.

It was just too much all at once for someone who had only experienced this in micro doses so far, and my energy was pretty much all depleted as I leaned on my hammer and dragged in breath after breath, trying to right myself before the inevitable return of another wave of monsters that needed to be put down.

"You alright little bunny?"

Heidi gently pat my back and ran her hand over my body as she comforted me, while Izzy came over and ruffled my hair as she said "Tuzi here is a newbie, so this is probably about where she should've stopped. You can keep going though, right? At least from afar and in a more support oriented role?"

With two tall, bulky futanari looming over me I had a momentary desire to just drop to my knees and plead that they protect me in exchange for my body; it was very hard to not do it, and I had to wonder for a moment if I was actually fit for the life of an adventurer if this was all it took to 'break' me.

Still, I wanted to push on, so I nodded and continued to regulate my breathing as I got myself right and ready for the next fight, though both of them just seemed to be amused by my efforts as they looked me over with clear lust.

"She's a newbie? Does pretty good for a newbie... seems pretty open about everything too, which must~ be a plus, huh~?"

Izzy gave Heidi a small smile as she nodded and replied "We saved her from some monsters and she gave herself to Ulya and I for the night as a way to pay off that debt. Decided to stick with us and helped us make some money, and she's been really~ fun to be around~! And inside..."

The two shared a smirk before placing kisses on my head, showing me some affection and bolstering my confidence a little as they took some liberties, until we were separated by the others coming over to chat about what was to come.

I was definitely more of a 'woman' then I was a futanari, but being beside Ulya always stirred up my desires and then some as I accepted the comfort of her arm around my shoulders and her breasts pressed against my side.

Hugging her was so reassuring that I didn't really participate in the planning at all, not that I really knew much about it anyways; I was more content to just relish Ulya's scent and her warmth as we hugged while leaving all the details to the others, especially because I was so tired... I just needed this rest.

We had a few minutes of peace before something shifted in the air; for me it was an indescribable chill that caused my hairs to stand on end as suddenly the warmth we had going was sapped away.

There was something coming, something strong, and immediately the joking and planning stopped as everyone got up and faced the tunnel that led deeper into the mines, their weapons in hand as they prepared for battle.

I remained behind them as we watched the tunnel closely, our bodies shrouded in a cold that was all encompassing as something approached us, something that was strong and dangerous... it would seem that the goal of the Gjallarkisa sisters was going to be achieved since this was something different from those shamans, hobgoblins and other monsters we had faced.

Shuffling up from the lower tunnel, a hulking amalgamation of bones and metal emerged into our cavern, the light from the crystals illuminating its thick plates of armor and long, jagged blades that scraped against the rock as it pulled itself up to us.

A hulking brute of a monster that towered over even Heidi, the armored spartoi was a terrifying opponent that radiated a blood chilling aura without even trying, and the moment it set those hollow eye sockets on us I felt my entire body go cold.

I was terrified; I knew that this thing could snap my neck without even trying, that those blades might be strong enough to cut my hammer in half and bisect me with a backhand swing meant for someone else.

It was a monster that was so far out of my current skill league that I was almost rooted in place, but for the others it was just something that was strong and something that they needed to tackle with care and precision; seeing their collected confidence was reassuring, but I still took my place in the back of the group and watched them as they strode forwards to meet it.

My magic probably wouldn't even tickle the damn thing, but it might just distract it enough to allow the others to land a hit that might just make this fight less scary for us all; so as they all formed a crescent in front of me, preparing to take the armored spartoi on, I gathered my mana and thought about what I should do, all while the monster continued to slowly make its way forwards.

The weight, the armor, the power roiling off of its bleached white bones... all of it was terrifying, and yet there was a thrill that I found coursing through my veins as I realized that this was something I found enjoyable; something that I could understand why people would put their lives on the line to do.

I felt so alive as my blood pumped through my body far faster then ever before, and seeing the monster prepare for combat added far more adrenaline to my blood that caused time to slow down as every single detail around me was picked up before I could even blink.

This... this was what it meant to be alive, and the thrill of knowing that one wrong move could take that all away from me was both a void filled anxiety that threatened to pull me down into the depths of despair as well as being an addicting rush that made me realize emerging victorious would mean I was stronger for it.

And all it took was beating this monster to prove it...
