Adventurer of Many Professions-Chapter 171: Upgradeable Skills!

This was good for the team. When new teammates joined, they wouldn't need to replace their gear immediately, and the current equipment should suffice for 'Bronze Level' tasks.

It was a long road ahead for them to be promoted to the 'Bronze Level,' but once they were there, they could opt for easier 'Silver Level' commissions or avoid those tasks altogether, which would give them more time to save for equipment upgrades.

At the 'Bronze Level,' commissions could reward up to ten gold coins. Even if the team grew to five members, Raymond believed that it wouldn't be long before they'd have enough money for equipment upgrades after reaching the 'Bronze Level.'

This was, of course, referring to Lorene.

For Raymond, the daily income from the "Primary Magic Recovery Potion" would be enough for the team to change their equipment once they reached the 'Bronze Level.'

And since Raymond was a craftsman, his main expense would only be for the materials.

When it came to the 'Silver Level,' the equipment would likely come with additional special effects.

In order to add special effects to equipment, the "Forging" skill must be upgraded to the second stage.

Currently, Raymond's "Forging" skill is only at the first stage, so he cannot add special effects to equipment. To upgrade his "Forging" skill, he needs three more skill points.

However, Raymond wasn't considering upgrading his "Forging" skill at the moment.

By the time he needed it, he would certainly have enough money. He could craft the equipment himself and then ask skilled "craftsmen" who had reached the second stage of "Forging" to help add the special effects.

One of these craftsmen is Greytor, a dwarf who has already mastered the second stage of "Forging."

But that was something for the future—who could say what might change by the time he was ready?

Soon, Raymond and Arya carried the eight herbs for the "Primary Magic Recovery Potion" upstairs to the pharmacy.

The pharmacy had been converted from an unused room. Raymond had originally used the utility room for potion refining, but since he exercised there every morning and there was an empty room on the second floor, it made sense to transform that room into an alchemy space.

The pharmacy was lined with shelves filled with glass medicine tubes, and there was a long table in the middle of the room.

Raymond placed the chopping board with the eight herbs on the table, then moved to the shelf to retrieve a row of glass medicine tubes.

Arya chose to watch him at work.

Although she had seen Raymond refine the "Primary Magic Recovery Potion" many times before, she never grew tired of watching. Perhaps she enjoyed seeing the process so much because, in her mind, each potion represented "eight silver coins."

Those bottles of "Primary Magic Recovery Potion" were as good as round silver coins, especially now that they were so short on money.

At that moment, Raymond reached for the large water cup on the table to fill the glass medicine tubes, only to find that it was empty.

Just as he was about to get the water himself, Arya quickly stepped in to take the cup.

"I'll get it, you just focus on making the 'Primary Magic Recovery Potion'!" she said, already excitedly heading out with the large cup to fetch water from the bathroom on the second floor.

Raymond smiled in amusement, feeling helpless.

Every time he was about to make the potion, Arya always seemed to get so excited.

Soon, Arya returned with the filled cup. "Here, Raymond, the water's ready."

"Thanks," Raymond said with a smile, taking the cup from her.

He then began pouring water into the eight glass medicine tubes, filling each one halfway.
