Accidenttal One Night Stand with My Aloof Uncle-Chapter 564: He is My Ex-Boyfriend 4
Chloe Grant grumbled all the way, cried all the way, and cursed Matthew Morgan all the way.
Matthew Morgan remained silent throughout, letting her be and taking good care of her.
He didn’t take Chloe Grant to her own villa, but brought her to a room in his own villa.
He carried her to take a hot bath, changed her clothes, and then laid her on the bed.
After the bath, Chloe Grant was completely quiet, no longer crying or making a fuss, sleeping like a well-behaved child.
Matthew Morgan looked at her, his eyes deep.
He lowered his head, kissed her forehead, then her nose, and then her lips...
Each kiss was gentler than the moonlight outside the window.
...
The next day, when the sunlight outside came streaming in, Chloe Grant had no choice but to wake up.
Her biological clock was also reminding her that it was time to get up, get ready, and head to work.
The aftermath of the hangover was...a splitting headache.
Chloe Grant hadn’t started thinking about what happened yesterday when Matthew Morgan came in with a cup of hangover tea, sitting by the bed, "Drink this, it’ll make you feel better."
Chloe Grant looked at him, not reaching for it.
She was sincerely trying to think about what happened after drinking yesterday.
Unfortunately...
She couldn’t remember, only fragments, fragments she couldn’t piece together.
Bad alcohol tolerance, even a little fruit wine could knock her out.
Chloe Grant thought, that bartender must have been up to no good, adding extra alcohol, which is why she ended up like this.
"I need to go home, freshen up, then go to work."
Chloe Grant didn’t take the hangover tea from Matthew Morgan; she lifted the quilt and was about to get out of bed.
Matthew Morgan grabbed her arm, "There’s a set of toiletries for you here, and your favorite clothes, no need to go back. Drink this, freshen up, go downstairs for breakfast, and then I’ll take you to work."
"I don’t want to!" Chloe Grant refused without even thinking, struggling to pull away from Matthew Morgan’s hand.
"I want to go home."
But Matthew Morgan held onto her wrist, "Chloe, be a good girl."
His tone was somewhat helpless, yet filled with his usual indulgence.
Hearing this, Chloe Grant felt both sad and angry inside, upset and distressed.
In the end, she couldn’t stand it anymore and shook off Matthew Morgan, saying, "How do you expect me to be good? Matthew, you’re just my ex-boyfriend now!
Do you know what the greatest respect someone can give their ex is? It’s treating the ex as if they’re dead.
So don’t mess with me anymore, and don’t keep showing up in front of me, pretending to do good things for me, when in fact you’re delaying my chance to meet new, better people!"
Chloe Grant spoke with intense emotion.
She shook off Matthew Morgan’s hand, got out of bed, and ran out without even putting on shoes.
Matthew Morgan placed the tea aside, walked over, and hugged her from behind, bringing her back to sit on the bed.
Chloe Grant was still struggling.
Matthew Morgan leaned in, growling, "Sit still!"
Chloe Grant was startled.
She had never seen the fierce side of Matthew Morgan.
And he was already crouched down, putting slippers on Chloe Grant’s feet, while coldly saying, "How many times do I have to tell you, wear slippers when you get out of bed? Every month when you have your period, your uterus always hurts because it’s too cold; you need to keep warm."
He stood up, "You can go home if you want, but drink this first."
Matthew Morgan once again picked up the hangover tea, his attitude firm and clear.
Drink it, and you can leave.
Don’t drink it, and this will continue.
