Accidentally Married to the Big Shot-Chapter 232 - No Premarital Behavior
Chapter 232: Chapter 232: No Premarital Behavior
Chapter 232: Chapter 232: No Premarital Behavior
Hengze watched Linlin’s face turn red after she drank some alcohol.
Linlin wasn’t particularly attractive, her cheekbones were a bit high which made her seem assertive, but he liked such strong women.
However, he vividly remembered what Linlin had told him before, that she did not want premarital sex.
So, although the woman he liked was right in front of him, he gently let go of her hand and smiled, “Linlin, there are plenty more days to come, you’re drunk now and don’t know what you’re doing.”
He intended to lay her on the couch, but he was a bit too forceful, it was like he pushed her onto the couch. Thankfully there was a pillow, otherwise, her head would have been injured.
Linlin was stunned for a moment.
This fat idiot!
“Linlin, sorry, I was a bit too forceful just now…” Hengze hurriedly explained.
Linlin was already drunk, and being pushed just then made her even more nauseated, she couldn’t help it and threw up, and the room was filled with a foul smell.
Seeing this, Hengze quickly asked the housekeeper to clean it up while he, enduring the stench, carried Linlin upstairs to her room.
The night passed without words.
…
The next day Linlin left Hengze’s house.
She was quite warm towards Hengze last night, but today she turned cold again, just like before, carrying herself like a true lady.
“I’m leaving.”
“I, I’ll walk you out.”
“No need, I’ll call a cab myself,” Linlin said.
Hengze was a bit anxious, wondering if it was because he turned down sleeping with her last night.
So, he said to Linlin, “Linlin, maybe, you… you could come over again tonight.”
“Come over for what?” Linlin raised an eyebrow.
“Anything’s fine,” Hengze said with a silly smile.
Linlin rolled her eyes at him, “We’ll see.”
And in her heart, she cursed him for being an idiot.
If he wasn’t foolish and in love with her, she would not have agreed to marry him.
…
Linlin sat in the car going back, and soon received a message: Found it, Su Meixi’s blood type is AB.
Seeing this message, she lay back weakly in the car.
After a while, she replied: Send me all her information.
…
“Linlin, where did you go last night?”
During dinner today, Li Shirui asked Linlin.
Linlin came to her senses and was about to answer, but Xi Wanfen intervened, “Where else could she have gone? Obviously out drinking with friends, the typical way to network.”
Linlin retorted to her sister, “At least I don’t dress up like a kid’s Hello Kitty outside everyday. You’re 20 already, act like it.”
“It’s not Hello Kitty, it’s cosplay.”
“It’s all equally childish.”
Li Shirui, feeling helpless, knocked on the table, “Stop arguing, you two.”
The sisters quieted down.
Linlin then directly said to Li Shirui, “Mom, I was at Hengze’s house last night.”
“Oh, at his place, that’s fine,” Li Shirui said.
Xi Wanfen chimed in again, “Sister, didn’t you say you rejected premarital sex? Why did you go there last night?”
Linlin glared at Xiao Fen.
“Mom, I need to go on a business trip to Guang City for a few days,” Linlin said, observing Li Shirui’s expression.
“That’s fine,” Li Shirui said, her expression unchanged, showing no particular concern about the trip.
“Mom, I’ll bring you a gift.”
Li Shirui smiled, “Still, Linlin is thoughtful, always thinking of her mom.”
Xi Wanfen retorted, “No good deed goes unpunished, it’s either deception or theft!”
Linlin glared at her.
…
Su Meixi was still resting these days.
Since being stabbed, she was no longer as obsessed with work.
She thought about how she was not even 30 yet, she hadn’t visited many places, didn’t have her own children, and was often apart from Gu Wei, so she wasn’t in a hurry to go back to work.
She didn’t need to provide for a family, so she decided to focus on healing her body and spirit first.
It was strange, when she was alone before, every day felt the same, but since she had Gu Wei, and had “died” once, even just looking at the flowers and trees in her community made her feel happy.
She used to worry that the community’s children could be mischievous, so she kept her distance, but now she saw these children and felt the vibrancy of life.
Talking with her sisters-in-law was also different; she used to dislike gossip, but now enjoyed listening, though she didn’t give her opinions, she just listened and found these stories actually quite interesting.
But today she also heard some unsettling news: Bao Min was coming back.
Aunt Bao was around too. She was the first to tell Su Meixi about it, saying, “Xiao Su, it’s like this, you know Old Bao was supported through college by his big brother, right? Last time, Old Bao sent Bao Min back, and ever since his big brother’s been bad-mouthing us in the village, calling us ungrateful. Besides, Bao Min couldn’t find a job back in the countryside, and since our community needs a teacher, we had to call her back.
You don’t have to worry, Bao Min knows she was wrong, she almost lost her job, she’ll behave better now.”
Hearing this news, the other sisters-in-law also voiced their opinions.
“Xiao Bao usually looks so cultured, how could she do such a thing?”
“Probably jealousy, she likes Captain Gu, it’s obvious to anyone with eyes.”
“Well, if she’s coming back, let her come, else Commander Bao would be in a tough position, just keep your distance from her, Xiao Su.”
Su Meixi knew it would turn out this way.
Commander Bao, like a typical self-made man, would surely help out his hometown folks after rising to success. His behavior was not wrong, one should be grateful and besides, Bao Min’s fault wasn’t severe enough for capital punishment; this much punishment was enough.
Su Meixi comforted Aunt Bao a bit, saying she didn’t mind.
In the afternoon, while she was sunbathing outside, Xi Wanfen came over.
Xi Wanfen brought Su Meixi a milk tea, deliberately adding extra pearls.
“Sister Su, I see you have all sorts of health products and fruits at home, so I didn’t bring those, just this milk tea,” Xi Wanfen said with a smile.
Su Meixi also smiled, “I was thinking about having one, and then you brought it.”
“If you want it again, just tell me, I’ll order delivery for you too.”
Xi Wanfen explained further, “My mom also wants to come see you, but she mentioned that Southern people mind those in mourning, so she wants to wait another ten days or so.”
Su Meixi smiled, “No worries, whenever she’s free.”
She thought about it; people in mourning were bound to say things like ‘I’m sorry for your loss’, and she wasn’t used to such formalities, so waiting for them to get over the grief a bit before coming was fine too.

Xi Wanfen sucked on her milk tea and then asked, “Sister Su, are you from Feng City?”
“Yes.”
“Is that far from Guang City?”
“Not far, why?”
