Absolute Death Game-Chapter 468 - 48 Evil God_2
However, with a formidable enemy at the forefront, Xiao Buli had no time to admire or study these zombies. Seeing something emerge from the crystal coffin, he knew the process had taken effect. Without caring what kind of zombie came out, he whipped out the Refining Ghost Copper Pot and the Giant Spirit Scepter. These were the enhancement combinations he had thought of when initially creating the three Magical Treasures. There was nothing particularly fascinating about the zombies themselves.
Xiao Buli's True Qi circulated as he cast a Yin Transforming Skill and an Enlarging Technique on the freshly produced Black Evil. Bolstered by the two powerful buffs, the Black Evil hadn't taken two steps before its body suddenly swelled, morphing into a three-meter-tall, muscular figure as tough as steel—a dark-skinned colossus.
Just then, the crystal coffin's cooldown period ended. A whirl of black fog later, an Iron Corpse with a metallic luster all over its body stepped out from the casket. It seemed the type of zombie produced by the crystal coffin was random.
With these three Magical Treasures in hand, Xiao Buli felt greatly reassured. He didn't join the fray, instead hiding behind the crystal coffin. Whenever a Serpent Demon neared the edge of the large pit, he would cast a Mysterious Ice Slash or a Sunfire Spellball to fend them off temporarily. Then, when a zombie emerged, he would bestow upon it two buffs. Thankfully, the crystal coffin emitted an aura of corpse energy. Although the Serpent People knew Xiao Buli was hiding behind it, they couldn't bring themselves to decide to confront him directly. The zombies, on the other hand, knew no fear of death and, once formed, cared not what they faced. If Xiao Buli wished, they would even stack their bodies to form a hill without any hesitation or error. Thus, without any chatter, they surged forward to grasp the Serpent People. Relying on its innate defenses, the Iron Corpse didn't care for any technique or strategy. It caught a Serpent Demon, completely ignoring the shrieks and scratches it made on its body, and with one hand yanked its head and the other its tail, tearing the Serpent Demon in half with brute force.
The Black Evil wasn't outdone. With its claws and teeth sharp as blades, it chilled two nearby Serpent Demons to the core. With a casual tug, the bodies of the Serpent Demons were torn apart like ragged cloth.
In a little over a minute, a dozen or so zombies had gathered in front of the large pit, each leveraging their strengths to encircle it completely, keeping the frenzied Serpent People at bay.
Xiao Buli, now having no need to worry about Serpent People disturbing the process involving the Lava Giant Python, proudly observed these nightmarish executioners, carefully noting each zombie's capabilities, and soon discovered that each excelled in different areas.
For instance, the relatively petite red Blood Corpses could absorb life through their attacks. Although they were enhanced, their two-meter stature was still no match for the towering three-meter bodies of others. But as they killed more Serpent People, they grew larger, now towering over the other zombies.
Then there was a green-haired Poison Zombie whose attack strength didn't seem very high, but whose body continuously spewed out green corpse poison. This fog-like corpse poison was different from the venom of the Serpent People. Although both were poisons, the former was evidently more potent. Enshrouded by this poison, the Serpent People could initially struggle to rise, but their upper bodies soon lay gasping on the ground. The most infuriating part was the poison didn't swiftly kill them. The Serpent People occasionally twitched or writhed on the ground, their hideous faces so contorted they seemed as if the muscles were trying to squeeze off the rest of their flesh, deterring other Serpent People from approaching the green-haired zombie. The ones lying on the ground seemingly advertised for it, signaling others to keep away.

While the zombies gained the upper hand, they could only attack one-on-one, lacking any area-of-effect skills. Xiao Buli grew bored after a while, so he unleashed Mysterious Ice Slashes and Nine Heavens Thunder Fire Swords at densely packed areas of Serpent People, while the ten zombies dealt with any escapees. This strategy, once in place, spelled doom for the Serpent People—it was as if they were being harvested.
"If I were you, I wouldn't waste Physical Strength like this. Are you sure there are only so many Serpent People? What if your True Origin Points run out? And besides, you have zombies helping you kill the monsters, why the rush?" the Heart Demon, seeing the situation stabilizing, couldn't help but interject with dissatisfaction.
"Shut up!" Xiao Buli shouted, his movements growing even faster. It seemed that opposing the Heart Demon was the way he interacted with it. After about ten minutes of relentless slaughter, the corpses of the Serpent People quickly piled up around him.
Launching another Mysterious Ice Slash, Xiao Buli suddenly felt weakening. The True Origin Force within him was nearly depleted after the continuous fierce battles. Looking around, the remaining figures of the Serpent People had dwindled, and although over half of the ten zombies were injured, the earliest-emerged Black Evil looked the worst, half of its body seemingly shredded by the Serpent People's claws, strips of torn flesh hanging from where its arm should have been.
The Long-armed Zombie, with the lowest defenses, had its chest ripped open and clear, with a bleeding DEBUFF on its head, clearly poisoned frequently. But overall, the situation seemed under control.
Xiao Buli sat down cross-legged, withdrew the crystal coffin and Magic Wand among other Magical Treasures, and began to meditate under the open sky, focusing on recovering his Vital Energy.
