Chapter 75: Chapter SEVENTY-FIVE:Nathan Might Be A Player,But He’s The Coach!

Zaiden felt bad for talking to her that way but he didn’t want to admit his fault,after all,she was the one who willingly sacrificed herself for him,she sacrificed herself for this marriage with the hope it was going to work out between them.

Such a dreamer she is!

He loosened his tie as he felt a bit crampy wearing it,as his secretary was peering at him through the mirror and noticed his uneasy state.

Andrew knew about his recent engagement and was stunned when it came out that it wasn’t with Miss Anna,he was really surprised and was curious to know exactly what transpired between the two of them that made them not end up together.

He had been Zaiden’s Messenger who he usually instructed to send her flowers for years and in the end,the two didn’t end up together.

Although he didn’t like Arianna one bit,he wasn’t so sure about the lady who got engaged to,he wondered who exactly the lucky lady was and also prayed for the survival of the lady in the hands of his boss.

He always knew it wasn’t going to work out between him and the model due to the fact that Arianna was more like him,he was cold hearted,the same with the model,what his boss needed right now was someone who was completely different from him in everything,he needed someone who could melt his cold heart and his unruly character.

Yeah,that’s what he needs.

He concluded with a smile on his face as his attention was back to the roads.

"What’s the smile for?"Zaiden asked, suddenly making Andrew’s eyes wide,he noticed him stealing glances at him.

"Uh..nothing actually boss"Andrew replied with a smile trying to camouflage his nervous state,praying he doesn’t find out that he was sweating from the tension he was in.

Zaiden shot him a glare with his head tilted at the side which made Andrew mutter the lord’s prayer,that was the power Zaiden had over him and everyone in the company,he has this power to know when one was lying and looking at Andrew right now,he knew his PA was lying but decided to wave it off,he still had far more important things to worry about.

More important things like the reason why Grandpa suddenly lost his appetite at the dinner table this morning saying it was his mother’s fault,that was the first time he had shouted at Avery right in front of the whole family and he knew something was wrong.

His old man wasn’t like that and besides nothing was wrong with the food although it was prepared by Sophia he didn’t see any reason why he would lose his appetite except that it wasn’t his mother who he was angry at,he was angry at another thing.

He knew his grandpa and knew when he’s in a good mood. Seeing him this morning gave him the idea that he woked up on the wrong side of the bed. He wasn’t that lively and talkative as he usually is. Was he sick?

No,this wasn’t about sickness,his old man knew when to take his drugs and he isn’t someone who’s angry and demanding whenever he’s down with the flu,it was something else.

He suddenly remembered the argument with his father, hopefully he prays that the old man doesn’t get to know of it,he didn’t want to include his grandpa into this,his father was already a headache enough to him and he knew his grandfather’s involvement in this was going to give his dad a hard time.

Because, there’s no way his grandfather was going to let her go if he finds out how serious his son was keen on convincing them that Hazel wasn’t the right one for ukm,that’s it about his father,he still thinks he’s a kid who still need someone’s help in making a right decision.

But that’s where he’s wrong,he made the right decision by coming back for Hazel, although he didn’t know why he did it,he still felt it was right doing that.

Just because of a woman,his life has been messed up but he couldn’t seem to let his father do away with her as he had complained she wasn’t the right one for him,Hazel was etched in his mind with no thoughts of leaving and he too didn’t want her to leave, for now,until he knows what exactly and why he’s doing this for her

There wasn’t anything special about her,she was only an orphan who had manueved her way into his life with no plan of leaving or letting him be the same person he was before he met her.

He knew this was going to result in this after his mother had taken law into her hand to find him a wife but he wasn’t expecting to fall deeply for her so soon,not that he was complaining but he would have preferred if they met under different circumstances.

He felt bad for having an argument with his dad that he nearly lost his control,he was used to obeying his dad and had not for once go against his wishes,but this time,he was sorry about going against him,but this was Hazel they were talking about.

His Hazel.

His phone beeped immediately,snatching his attention as they were already within the company premises,he checked it out and a sigh escaped his lips when he figured out who it was.

Anna.

She was demanding to have dinner with him tonight,he made a mistake kissing her and now she probably thinks they are back together.

That was it about Anna,she doesn’t give up that easily and he wasn’t different from her whenever he set his mind to something but she needed to know that things were over between them.

He let his guard down yesterday because he didn’t want to accept the fact that it was Hazel that he wanted and not her,he wanted to know what was so special about her scent that drives him crazy and now, Anna’s back to his life with her fake smile and fake concern about him.

Although,he couldn’t say exactly what it was Hazel needed from him,he had at first thoughts she needed money that’s why he proposed signing a contract with him to use the money to lure out the gold digger in her but she had proved him wrong but Anna was completely different,he could tell when one had a motive and he knew that Anna had something cooking in that little brain of hers after he caught her with another man.

She couldn’t exactly have agreed to sign the contract with the company within that period he went to New York and caught her,she came back for work and nkt for him, that’s what he figured out about her,it would always be business before love,that’s Anna.

"What’s my schedule for today?"Zaiden asked as they walked inside the company with everyone running Helter skelter,trying to run far away from him as usual to not incur his wrath due to his command that he disliked human contact.

Andrew pressed his private elevator open while checking his tablet,and then turned to Zaiden who had a poker look on his face while they entered inside.

"A contract signing with the investors from China to sign the finalize the deal with the company asper Madam’s earlier visit by Nine"Andrew started as he sighed before urging him to continue,he found out the boss was tired and wanted to ask why but he refrained from doing so,he wasn’t ready to take his rantings this morning.

"A brief meeting with the production team to finalize the day to hold this year’s annual face for Knights empire"

"It’s already fast approaching,what a headache!"Zaiden said, looking up to observe they were still on the eighteenth floor.

"Yes sir"Andrew continued"and lastly,the dinner appointment with Love Empire,surprisingly you are to go there with the new director,that’s it for today"Andre concluded closing his tablet.

"You mean my brother?Nathan?"Zaiden asked surprised

"Yes"

"Why?"

"That I don’t know,It was the order from the chairman"Andrew replied curtly as the elevator dinged before opening to reveal his office doors staring straight ahead at them,he waited for Zaiden to leave first but he was still lost in thoughts after telling him about his brother.

He’s acting strange today,but most importantly,he had figured out something that might be helpful to him if he wanted to work for him,and that was to stay away from his brother Nathan,the new production team director.

He noticed the grimace look and curious face he was having when he walked inside his office and closed the door with a bang making his secretary and him to flinch from his coldness.

Zaiden was still confused as to why his grandfather would suggest the both of them go for the dinner appointment with Love empire knowing fully well that Nathan was out to stop him from taking over the company.

And besides,he was the one who was invited to the dinner appointment with Grandpa,so why would he replace himself with that psychopath grandson of his, who would rather stay at home and plan on how to make Hazel his rather than get a girl of his own.

Whatever it is the old man was planning he didn’t like it one bit and also prays that Nathan doesn’t get in his nerves at the dinner appointment today because he isn’t in his best behaviour today,so he won’t promise not knocking out all his teeth off it’s socket if he pissed him off because he always have a tendency to do so.

He still couldn’t forget the look on his face when he was close to Hazel back then at dinner. He would pay to see him pissed everyday if that is what ’s going to keep him away from Hazel.

Nathan might be a player but he’s the coach!

So,it’s best he stays away from his fiance if he really loved himself, turning to take his phone fro the table,his door was open with Andrew coming in to tell him that it was time for the contract signing.

Time to go to work.
