365 Days To Love-Chapter 66 - SIXTY-SIX:The Confession

Hazel settled down in the car,putting on the seatbelt while avoiding the gaze Zaiden held on her. She didn’t want to stay in this car with him at all after that silly act he did at the front of her house.

He started the car and turned on the radio,playing some music while she had her face turned to the window side,her heart beating at the thoughts of facing Avery and Grandpa.

She was angry at them for not checking up on her after they disregarded her upon the arrival of their son’s girlfriend.

Although,she couldn’t really blame them,she’s a nobody,they would always end up choosing the right and most beneficial family to join hands through marriage,that’s the lifestyle of the rich.

But meeting Avery,had changed her perspective about them when the woman strongly decided to get her son married to her at all cost,but after these few days of not seeing them,she had come to understand her place in their life.

Just as Nathan had warmed her,after Zaiden was done with her he would dispose of her like the trash she was,but that won’t happen.

Rather,she will end up disposing his arrogant ass once her time here on earth is over,she was determined on this decision she took.

She took a major risk by agreeing to go back to him after the signs and warnings she had been receiving from him that she wasn’t useful to him,but the possibility that he would end up loving her after their marriage gave her the motivation to continue on this journey.

She’s not giving,not now,not ever, until she brings the cold arrogant and pompous Zaiden to her feet,she won’t give up until all which she had written in her bucket list had been fulfilled.

So,whatever it may be, they think that she was just a puppet to dispose of after using her to get the son’s inheritance,they were wrong.

Because,in this game, she’s the master and they were her puppet.

She was so lost with her thoughts,that she didn’t notice the car had stopped in front of the house,she realized they were here when he turned the radio off.

She turned to open the car,but it was locked,turning to find him staring at her with a gloomy face.

Who cares about his face?

"What are you doing?we are here"She said lightly,not trying to raise her voice to him,she wasn’t in the mood for his fights,she needed to go inside and meet his mom and grandpa.

"Here"He handed her a file,which she hesitated before taking it from his hand,curious as to what was inside of it.

She took a last look at him to find him staring at him,urging her on to open it that she was wasting his time.

Can’t he be soft towards her,why does he have to sound really annoying everything she was with him.

She rolled her eyes at him,tugging the file open to bring out some papers,her attention now on what was infront of her.

It took a moment before she understood what was in front of her and was expected of her when he gave her this document.

Was he insane or what?

in his past life,did he ever encounter anyone named Hazel for him to treat her this way.

In her hands,was a document containing a contract of marriage between the two,it was specifically written that they were to divorce each other within a year of thier marriage with certain benefits that would be credited in her name as the daughter-in-law of the knights family.

Did his parents force him to do this?

No,he didn’t look like one who would be forced to do such.

Yes,she knew she was going to die in a year but it was really heartbroken and really cruel of him to bring up a contract between them without the consent of the family.

This wasn’t what his parents offered when she was engaged to him,if anything,she was sure they didn’t have any idea of what he was doing.

She despised what she held in her hand,she didn’t want her marriage to him to get contracted,what’s the use of trying to make him fall in love with her before her time was up if everything was contracted.

Why is he always one step ahead of her in everything she always does?

This time he went overboard, really overboard and she’s not accepting this bullshit,not now,not ever!

"I’m not doing it",She said, throwing the papers back to him,which hit the floor of the car as he stared dangerously at her,his knuckles folded at the thoughts of her stubborn behaviour.

Why is she acting all over a sudden?

Why isn’t she happy that she got to spend a year with him and at the end of it,she will be rewarded handsomely which he was sure was going to help her and her generation to come.

So why is she not signing already?

"Why?’’He found himself asking,while waiting for her answer,he was sure she was going to tell him the honest answer for why she’s not going to sign the marriage contract.

Perhaps,did she think he was going to settle down with her for the rest of his life?

He chuckled at the thought,what if that’s what she really wanted?

Hazel,why are you so desperate to be with me?

What’s your gain if you aren’t going to sign the papers they are going to change your life in a year?

It’s not like,he added any difficult task like asking her to give him an heir before a year’s time.

Did he want an heir from her?

Stop it Zaiden, she’s not worth it!

Anyway,whatever it is she was planning in that small head of hers is going to have to wait,the only option she has here was to sign the goddamn contract since she’s willing to stay with him at all cost or else,he finds someone else.

But,does he want some else?

She was already a handful, which he’s trying all he could to understand why she’s fighting earnestly to stay with him,knowing full well,they don’t belong in the same world.

He’s a prince,she’s a nobody.

But why does she want to stay with him? After being offered the money at the end of the year, she still wasn’t happy,so what does she want?

No,she possibly can’t,she really despised him for making her life a hell since they met,so she’s definitely not in love with him,right?

"Do you despise me that much?"Hazel demanded, this time she was looking at him with a teary face,her tears already falling at the thoughts of what he’s trying to make her do.

Can’t he just get married without demanding anything from her?

She’s going to die soon,so what’s the essence of him signing a contract marriage with her,it’s totally useless.

"What are you?’’He began,yanking his seat belt off,turning the car open to drag her out of the car,holding her close to him that they were barely skin apart from each other.

"Zaiden.."

"Why are you making me feel this way?Why do you affect me this much after seeing your goddamn tears,why?!"He yelled this time scaring the shit out of her.

He had gone crazy,looking at her tear stained face,he got angry at himself that he was the reason why she was crying,he always didn’t care about a woman’s tears that weren’t that of Anna,but this woman.

His Fianceè?

Why does she make him feel this way?She’s making him feel guilty.

"I’m so..rry",she apologized,touching his face with her hands,but he pushed her immediately when he noticed what she was doing,such a cheap whore she is.

Was she so stupid to think that he’s going to fall for her charms knowing fully well she might be a spy sent from his uncle to get to him.

Who is she working for?

Because if she wasn’t working for anyone,she wouldn’t be here. No normal woman on earth would like to spend their lives with him. After these few days she had gotten to see the real side of him which is hidden away from the world.

She doesn’t get it,he’s not capable of giving her whatever it is she wants from him.

"Why do you need me that much for yourself?Tell me,what do you want from me?!"

Hazel was caught in the middle of the devil and the deep blue sea. What is she going to do?

Should she tell him the truth about her?The real truth behind everything she was doing.

No,no matter how much she may be tempted to tell him the truth,he’s still not trustable to know such information about her,he’s going to cancel the wedding the minute she tells him the truth.

That’s who Zaiden is,a heartless monster.

But why is he acting strange all of sudden,asking her why she wanted to get married to him,why do he care?

If he really cared about her opinion that much this wasn’t the time he should be asking her this?

She flinched when he grabbed her arms and whimpered at the pain she was receiving from her dear fiance who’s going gaga at the moment.

"Do I look like a joke to you?"He bickered at her when she made no attempts at answering his questions.

If she was good at anything,that was getting on his nerves,she derives pleasure seeing him like this.

Losing his mind at the thoughts of her.

"You are hurting..."She pleaded, attempting to move away from him and his questions,she didn’t know what to say right now and he’s not helping the matter at all.

"WHY DO YOU WANT TO MARRY ME?!!"He roared.

"SO I CAN KISS YOU ANYTIME I WANT!"
