365 Days To Love-Chapter 47 - FOURTY-SEVEN:A Step To Her Destiny.

"Wake up sleeping beauty!"Avery shouted walking into Hazel’s room with two maids following suit with their heads bowed.

Hazel stirred a bit in her sleep,rubbing her eyes before she went to sleep again without taking note of the people in the room.

She was not a heavy sleeper but after she finally got to sleep yesterday at three in the morning,she still felt sleepy.

The maid smiled at the lady who was so engrossed in her sleep and also the manner in which she was sleeping,her hair was tangled in her face with the sheets falling off the bed.

In fact she was a sleeping mess.

Avery glared at the maid who laughed before she apologized and then went to pull the curtains aside for the sunrise to penetrate into the room.

"Hazel,wake up"Avery sat down beside her bed,touching her arm but she murmured something then turned her back to her and that was when the light from outside disturned her.

"Sunny,I’m still sleepy ,leave me alone"the girl muttered, using her hair to cover the light away from her face,and before a second was over, she sat up with an instant force which shocked Avery.

"Mother"She called, rubbing her eyes when she finally noticed where she was. She was sleeping comfortably with the idea that she was in her house but when the events of yesterday came running through her mind,she sat up immediately.

"How was your night?"Avery asked, removing some strands of her hair from her face.

"It was nice mom,yours?"Hazel replied, turning to see the maids at her back and then Avery turned to them.

"Run her a bath,the makeup artist and the stylist will be here soon"Avery ordered standing up with Hazel’s hand in hers helping her off the bed.

"Breakfast will be brought up shortly after you’ve taken your bath,I will be back"She said looking at the maid who was standing beside them,her eye movement already directing the maid on what to do before she went in to get Hazel’s robe.

"Okay"Hazel told her,and shortly,After she left the room,Hazel went for her phone dialing Sunny’s number but she wasn’t picking up.

That was unlike Sun to do that,she was worried about her coupled with the fact that she forgot to call her yesterday,after fruitless effort in trying to connect to her,her call always went to voicemail.

She dropped a voice note demanding from her to call her immediately once she sees her message,before going to have her bath.

She didn’t object to the maids helping her to take her bath today after yesterday’s event,she was scared to do that all alone again.

She gasped when she saw that the bathtub was filled with scented roses and oil which the maid was pouring inside the water. She was so loving every bit of this engagement party and prayed it would go well.

After having her bath with the maids,breakfast was served shortly ,she was ordered not to leave her room,because the mansion was filled up with maids who were decorating everywhere so Avery didn’t need her out soon.

It took a while before the stylist and the makeup artist came,surprisingly her makeup artist was the same girl who gave her card out to her if she was interested in modeling

She soon finds herself getting acquainted with her because they conversed like old time friends that haven’t seen each other since ages. After getting another facial mask done on her face,she was shocked when she found the gown she was going to wear lying on top of her bed.

It wasn’t the same gown which Ziaden bought for her at the shopping mall the last time they went out,this one was much more,I mean, much more beautiful.

It was a red backless gown with a huge deep v at the center but Hazel didn’t ponder about the deep v, because the red diamonds used to decorate the ballroom gown were so enticing to her eyes.

It had a cut at the side just like the gown Zaiden bought for her but this one was much more beautiful than his.

She fell in love instantly looking at her gown and couldn’t wait to wear it,Lucy her makeup artist, noticed the glee on the girl’s face and smiled at the girl’s cuteness.

She was surprised at the down to earth nature of the girl,she was too humble to be called an elite because the few girls he knew that were socialist were rude,very rude and annoying. They didn’t have regard for human beings that were not on the social status with them,but Hazel was different.

Although,she found out from the gossips from the maids that she was an orphan she was still surprised on how the girl turned it to be Avery’s favourite.

The event was about to start they were told which made them start to dress up the princess for the show.

Lucy did the very best she could about making her up,the girl was beautiful already so she didn’t apply much makeup on her,she only highlighted her natural beauty.

Hazel felt like crying when she finally was dressed up for the event,she looked spectacular,she turned around in the room checking herself out wishing sunny was here to see her,sadly she still hasn’t heard from her.

The door room opened to reveal Avery in her attire,she was already dressed up,she smiled when she saw Hazel,her daughter in-law was so beautiful.

She went up to hold the family’s heirloom in her hand,it was a bracelet which was handed down from generation to generation in the knight’s family.

Lucy and the stylist left the two giving them privacy when they noticed they needed it.

"You look beautiful child"Avery complimented.

"You are not looking bad yourself"Hazel commented on her look too.

"I knew you would make a good match for my son the moment i set my eyes on you,I never make mistakes,thank you Hazel ’’Avery said to her,she was feeling emotional suddenly that she felt her tears but she held it in trying to ruin her make-up.

She took Hazel’s left hand in hers locking the bracelet in the girls hand while she smiled at it’s uniqueness.

"I guess it had found a new owner,it would be officially yours after the wedding"She said while she was stilladmiring it. 𝒇𝓻𝓮𝓮𝙬𝙚𝒃𝒏𝓸𝙫𝒆𝙡.𝓬𝓸𝒎

Hazel already knew what the bracelet meant,she recalled seeing it in her purse on their first encounter."thank you"

"No, I should be the one thanking you,not everyone can stand Zaiden and you know it"Avery smiled standing up "I will leave you to rest a bit,it starts in ten minutes"She said lastly leaving the girl alone to her thoughts.

Hazel looked at herself in the mirror,finding the same girl looking at her,her life has changed in these few weeks,all because of the fairy godmother.

A year it is,today was just a step,it is only a step to destiny,her destiny.

The knock on the door had her attention because it opened to reveal a maid who told her"it is time"
