The crashing down of the contents on top of his table was heard,after which he just received the bad news from Eric.

He was mad.

No,really pissed off.

Eric knew better than to tell him what he didn’t want to hear,but there was no need trying to hide it from him when there’s no Lucy in the picture.

"I’m so sorry boss"Eric apologized with his head hung low,with him kneeling on the floor with two other guard’s standing at his back.

There’s no trace of Lucy after what she did yesterday night,it was as if she just vanished from the earth which was bad.Really bad.

After she nearly ruined Nathan’s parts with that kick that sent him straight to the hospital to confirm if things were damaged or not, thankfully, Nothing was ruined.

But her act alone was something that wont be taken so lightly,not by Nathan who knew what she’s capable of doing.

The lady had lived for months under his roof,and did he forget to mention the fact that she also had everything that could be used to bring Nathan down.

Yeah,she had no valid evidence that could be used against him though,but her being identical to Hazel and her brother who was in Nathan’s custody, was something that would serve though if the need arises.

Although, there’s a high chance that she wouldn’t be too stupid to go to any police station to report Nathan,her brother was still in Nathan’s care so she knew better than to behave silly.

But yet,Eric knew how stupid she was,right from the very first day she approached Nathan and had thought that everything that glitters is gold.

The bitch didn’t have any closet idea, that she just walked willingly into the lion’s den when she decided to sell her soul to the devil.

A normal human being, would have taken the signals when Nathan had warned her on that very day,but she was far too blinded by his looks which was nothing but stupidity on her part.

Although, there was something grand which was the reason why she decided that she had hit the jackpot by sleeping with Nathan.That was because she needed money to pay for her brother’s surgery.

Eric didn’t know that Nathan would be merciful enough to do that, and right now,her brother was hale and healthy once again and she decided to bite the hand that fed her.

That’s not how things worked,not at all on Nathan’s part.

He had worked for Nathan for years to know how self centered,a narcissist and how bloodly of a funny fellow he was.

He’s nothing but a sly fox,who wants nothing but everything good for himself. Right now,he doesn’t understand what it is about Lucy that made him angry and vexed that he couldn’t get a wink of sleep yesterday.

The mother fucker had made it clear to him on daily basis that he wanted Hazel,to which Lucy had heing nothing but a stepping stone to him to get what he wants.

But at this moment,he can’t have Hazel either because it seems as if the young lady knew what awaited her, on her wedding day and ran off with Zaiden.

The reason for that was what he doesn’t know yet,and Nathan wasn’t planning on letting him know.

He’d been keeping things to himself for a while,but one thing is clear to him and that was Nathan having feelings for Lucy.

It isn’t clarified yet if he does,but the way he’s behaving about her disappearance was something he couldn’t quite explain.

He wasn’t someone who gets easily scared, just because there’s a probability that she would go ratting him off to the cops,he had more influence in the police force to be scared of what she wants.

He isn’t scared of that, rather it’s something else that he didn’t want to bother himself about,until his boss makes things clear to him.

But if he’s right about his suspicion that Nathan has feelings for her,he pitied Lucy’s soul, because she’s doomed.

to be anywhere close to talk more of having a crush on his boss .

Nathan was incapable of loving someone, and if eventually he does,he has to be someone who is capable of changing him for good.

She’s scared of him,like the others he’s met before her,they all are scared of him.

So,how exactly would she cope with such a man who wouldn’t hesitate to beat her into submission if she fails to obey him,if it’s true that he had a thing for her?

Whatever it was,that has nothing to do with him,he’s nothing but his personal assistant who would do anything for him as long as he doesn’t turn out to be a weapon fashioned against him.

If there’s anything Nathan is good at,that’s betraying people who think he’s with them.

Nathan is a devil who walks alone.

He knew that and he’s careful not to fall prey to his games,as long as he’s being paid well to take care of his sibling, he’s good.

On a different dimension,his own story is just the same as Lucy’s,yeah,she did everything to save her brother likewise him who started doing Nathan’s dirty deeds to save his sister too.

He wasn’t supposed to be bothered about that,yet his conscience felt bad at the thought of what was going to be Jordan’s fate,if his sister refuses to come back.

The innocent boy had nothing to do with this,the only crime he committed was being Lucy’s sister,but that wouldn’t be taken into consideration by Nathan.

If Nathan was going to use her brother to lure her back,yeah,he’s going to do that.But the question was, where exactly is Lucy to begin with?

She has no distant relative,or anything close to a family when he ran a background check on her, to say that she ran off to get help there.

Just like him with his sister,Jessica.

He cautioned himself with his thought,if care is not taken,he might end up making a drastic mistake that would cost him everything.

He got scared, and swallowed a lump down her throat at the frustrating silence in the room when he looked up to Nathan to find him still looking outside of his window.

No words were dropped over his statement earlier about Lucy’s disappearance,and did it bother him that he didn’t say anything yet?

Who knows what was running through his mind right at this moment?

"You didn’t find her?"His cold voice asked, bringing him back to reality as if he didn’t hear him earlier.

"Yes boss,I have searched everywhere,there’s no sign of her around her house and no one has seen her around the neighborhood "

"Hmm"Nathan didn’t say anything further,he just didn’t understand the reason why Lucy could think she could escort him.

She belongs here with him,not as his wife or fianceè,.ofcourse,Hazel was the one who he had planned that out for.

But right to this moment,he didn’t understand why he’s bothered about this Lucy.Was it because he’s gotten used to seeing her around his house and because she looks like Hazel?

At this point of time,this was clearly the first time Nathan Knights was confused about his feelings and didn’t know what to do.

As much as he’s denying the fact that he didn’t have a thing for Lucy,he couldn’t help but feel bitter at the thought of her being with another man.

But the truth was clear to him,and maybe it is to Eric,that he has a soft spot for Lucy and he’s definitely going to get her back where she belongs.

He needs to find her as soon as possible and keep her back in place,before she spoils things for him,she knows a lot and that’s something that made him want her back.

There’s no plan at the moment to kill her,he doesn’t intend on doing that anytime soon.

Since there’s no Hazel in the picture yet,he would have to stick with his second option which is Lucy.

She keeps his demons at bay,she just didn’t know that because every time she ends up getting him angry.

Lucy would have to come back to who rightfully owns her,and that’s him, Nathan Knights.
