I and Vale went for another round before we finally dragged our exhausted bodies toward the room for some rest.

Just before I drifted off to sleep, I glanced at the system, noticing my ero points had increased by 120.

’A substantial increase,’ I muttered internally, noting that I just had to do this roughly two more times and she’d be mine.

Time flowed quietly, and before long, evening had arrived.

By the time I woke up, the sun had long since dipped below the horizon.

Glancing around, I noticed once again that Vale was nowhere to be found.

Letting out a breath, I ran my hand through my hair and stood up.

Wearing a blue shirt I found nearby, I strode out of the room.

Passing by the silent corridors, I asked the maids I met for Vale’s location and learned she was attending a meeting.

Soon, I arrived outside the meeting room.

Deliberating for a few seconds, I decided not to knock.

Pushing the door open, my gaze landed on Vale seated opposite another lady who I assumed to be a succubus.

Both of their gazes turned to me the moment I stepped in.

"Aristarkh," Vale’s face, previously filled with seriousness, broke into a smile, "I was just about to send for you."

"Really?" I raised a brow in surprise and leaned forward to give her a kiss, which she quickly returned.

The succubus shifted her gaze slightly away from the two of us, and when we were done, she turned her eyes back to Vale and continued.

"In that case, I will assign the sisters to immediately dispatch for the cursed gate."

"Wait," Vale suddenly interrupted her, "Aristarkh and I will go to the cursed gate to eliminate her."

The lady was slightly taken aback by her highness’ words. "But..." she said, her face filled with confusion, "the sisters and I are enough to take care of her."

Vale smiled gently and shook her head. "Don’t worry about it, we’ll handle it. Just assign two sisters to accompany us in the meantime."

"Yes, your highness!" the succubus stood up and saluted.

Finally, with nothing further to discuss, she quickly excused herself, leaving Vale and me alone in the room.

I stared at Vale in silence, waiting for her explanation.

Not wanting to keep me in suspense for too long, Vale explained, "I sent a few subordinates to locate the queen in the north and received news that she has recently entered a cursed gate."

"A cursed gate?" my eyes widened slightly, taken aback by the news.

Cursed gates were separate dimensions filled with cursed creatures, cursed artifacts, and things far worse.

It was believed that cursed gates were ancient lands where cursed creatures had once lived... places abandoned by time itself.

"Yes," Vale interrupted my thoughts, "we’ll get training gear and leave for the cursed gate tonight."

I pondered for a bit before nodding.

I pulled up my system and noticed that my cursed rank had increased slightly from what it was before.

Suddenly, Vale’s movements drew my attention back to reality as she stood up.

Her carriage was already prepared, with the driver from the previous time lightly caressing the horses.

"Take us to the tailor’s cabin."

"Yes, mistress." He replied with a respectful nod.

His gaze lingered on me for a few seconds, but the moment my eyes met his, he quickly shifted his attention, his mind clearly replaying the scene from before.

"Is he your slave?" as we entered the carriage, I couldn’t help but ask.

"Why? Are you jealous?" Vale laughed lightly.

Finally, she shook her head after noticing the irritation in my eyes. I couldn’t possibly share my woman with someone else, and it seemed she understood that.

As such, Vale quickly explained, "I have his parents as hostages, so he has no choice but to obey me. Aside from him, there are a few others like that which I use to maintain my connection to the human world."

"I see..." I nodded in understanding, my eyes briefly gazing outward.

Silence descended between the two of us as the carriage rolled forward.

Vale glanced at me through the corner of her eyes, wondering what was going through my mind.

Her thoughts continued playing out different scenarios as the urge to know more about me kept surfacing.

"What do you think about this world? The conflict between cursed creatures and humans?"

"The conflict?" I mumbled, slightly stunned by the question.

In truth, I hadn’t thought much about it. After all, I couldn’t care less about the situation of the world.

As I wasn’t from this planet, I didn’t hold much emotional attachment to it.

"Mmmhhh," Vale nodded, "if humans and cursed creatures enter into a war, which side would you stand on?"

"I don’t know for now." I finally replied truthfully. "Whichever side seems more beneficial," I added with a chuckle.

Vale laughed as well and lightly punched me. "I didn’t expect you could be quite humorous."

"There are a lot of things you still don’t know about me."

"Mhhh?" Vale raised a brow in suspicion. "Like what?"

She narrowed her eyes slightly and added, "Aside from having a perfect body and being able to satisfy me so well, what other secrets are you hiding, Aristarkh?"

I leaned closer toward her, closing the gap between us and asked, "Are you sure you want to know about it? You might not be able to handle it."

Vale chuckled. "Trust me, there’s nothing I can’t handle."

"I’ll tell you after you become my woman completely..." I replied, leaning back slightly onto the chair again.

"What do you mean by that? Aren’t we together already?" Vale asked, her face filled with questions.

Just as I was about to reply, the voice of the driver drifted in from outside.

"We’ve arrived, your highness!"
